Beautiful hotel, complimentary drink on arrival, Lovely double aspect room, biscuits with tea / coffee would be nice, ha!

I just sat in a room on a course, it served it purpose, tea/coffee making facilities would of been nice, but apparently it wasn't included in the 4 day £200 per person course.

Lovely staff :) stay here all the time, bar staff lovely x.

I plan to come Sheffield every year and I shall always stay here, it so close to city centre and shops too.

Only giving a 4 star because I didn't have the opportunity to try everything included. I came for a training event so was in a meeting room… Overall the building is very clean and tidy, staff seem extremely friendly and the smoking area is spacious and beautifully presented. If going on the areas that I have seen I would expect the remainder of the building (rooms etc) to be up to the same standard in which case 5 stars would be awarded.

On a business trip so can't comment on the price but a friendly welcome on arrival and a pleasant functional hotel. Nice size for a double room and all the usual amenities: — TV, tea & coffee (no biscuits), iron and board and a super clean bathroom. Comfortable bed and loads of pillows but no view! Ideally located for night time activities especially the O2.

Excellent hotel. Clean and modern. Good sized rooms. Baths available. Free Wi-Fi in rooms. Large TV. Kettle, ironing board and iron. Hair dryer. Air con. Could do with more drawers. Good restaurant and bar but really pricey. Good service. Free Yorkshire Post and 'I' newspapers.

Good location easy access to city centre, comfortable rooms not noisy. Seems to have a lot of coach parties staying. Rooms have normal coffee & tea making facilities & there is an iron. Bathroom has a bath. There is a section near reception were you can buy toiletries or snacks, it's expensive but a good idea & useful if you don't want to leave hotel.

We stop here once a year due to business and it was great to see it had been refurbished and updated. The room we stopped in was pretty much brand new with a crisp new styling. The bed was extremely comfortable, good sized quality TV and air conditioning which worked brilliantly on one of the hottest nights of the year. The receptionist was helpful and friendly and the restaurant and bar area had also just been updated to the same Scandinavian type feel. There's a good choice at breakfast but it can get very busy if the hotel is full, which is what it was when we visited. There is no specific parking for the hotel, though there are plenty of public car parks close by.

Arrived to find the hotel is a building site, and also next to an even bigger building site with jackhammers going full blast. We had no communication in advance from the hotel to warn us, which would have given us the chance to book elsewhere. The first manager we spoke too was a bit lame, the second (his boss? ) was better, but by that point we had found another hotel — though there was little choice at such late notice on a busy weekend in Sheffield, and had we been able to make that decision weeks ago, we would have chosen somewhere better. So one star for the Jury's Inn for a really bad start to our visit to Sheffield.

Genuinely friendly and happy staff especially the waiting staff during breakfast time, breakfast was well cooked; option of both hot and cold food. Parking is subsidised, so you end up paying £7 for 24hrs across the road. Mini supermarkets nearby and high street just opposite. Room was good standard, size and clean. You do need to put signs outside with arrows to direct new guests towards reception, as we went around the whole block.

We stayed there with 2 children for 1 night. The room was immaculate. The beds were comfortable. The food was amazing. Couldn't have asked for more. I will undoubtedly stay here again.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Breakfast was very good. Rooms clean and spacious. Will stay there again. Hard to find any fault. There were renovations going on but I didn't even notice. No air con in the room, but let's face it this is in Britain.

Clean, modern hotel with friendly staff, and very quiet despite convenient city centre location. Evening meals in the bar were delicious. Found the large duvet a bit too hot, despite the welcome air conditioning. Would have been 5 stars if we didn't have to try and convince the receptionist we'd prepaid for dinner as well as our stay. Also I think this is the first hotel I've stayed at without a vending machine so had to skip the midnight snacks! Only had decaf coffee in the room as well.

Went here for the weekend to experience Gatecrasher classical at the town hall. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and booked us in promptly. We were giving our key cards for the room and told relevant details about our stay. Reception area was very clean. Room was a bit basic but fully expected for the price. Was clean which is the main thing. We could hear the people next door getting but it wasn't too bad. Bed was very comfortable and enabled a very good night's sleep. Hotel is well located within the city centre. The hotel's car park is situated about 5 walking distance away. Don't forget to get your token when you leave. Overall good experience.

Wasn't that impressed really… Room was very close to the lifts so it was very noisy, bathroom was tiny, shower wasn't really pushing out a good pressure of water and it was very difficult to get the right temperature; same goes for the tap on the sink.! Had I been a little more fussy and so tired, I definitely would have complained and changed rooms. Only positives really was the staff were very polite, check in/checkout was fast and the bed was comfy. Expected better from a Jury's Inn!

Easily accessed by foot, car park and bus/tram within a minute's walk. I attended a small 14 person training seminar in a function room (#9) downstairs. An elevator was available. Decently equipped room with a projector, flip chart, desks in a horseshoe pattern facing the projector, water cooler. Pleasantly surprised by refreshments being served! Helpful staff Manning the reception.

The hotel is fantastically located and well appointed. We had a family room and all four of us had our own beds! The staff were friendly and efficient. For a short city break we couldn't have wanted more really. Only 4 stars because the decor is looking a bit dated now (the hotel is currently being refurbished but they obviously hadn't got to our floor yet! ) and the prices were a bit inflated in the bar, not stupid but definitely more than you'd like to pay — OK for a business person on expenses but a bit steep for a family! Overall I'd recommend this hotel.

Very nice doing all the basics well. However, there are some minor issues (sheets not tucked in etc). But overall a very nice place and near the city center. I would recommend this hotel for location and for the services it provides.

We stayed here this week to attend a gig in the area. Very polite staff and very clean rooms. I was a little annoyed as there is no parking on site which wasn't communicated to me before I stayed here. I only found out after going into reception. We were told there is parking not too far away. We ended up parking in a different car park which was a little closer. I understand it's a hotel in the city, It's just hard work when you have to carry all your luggage to the hotel when you just want to get into your room. The situation would be been harder if we were staying with our kids. Still a lovely night. I would stay here again. The location is amazing.

Really happy with my stay. Asked for a quiet room and was on the 5th floor facing a courtyard. Very quiet, good air con, lovely bed and free water/tea & coffee, plus biscuits. Breakfast offered plenty of choice — the only issue is the hot food didn't taste too good. Eggs & bacon were like cardboard. If the hotel could act on this and replenish the foods that sit for too long it would be a 5 star recommendation!

Lovely room, great breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Have stayed in other central Sheffield hotels and I'd definitely choose to come back to this one above the others.

Not a standard review as I haven't actually step foot in the hotel! However, my parents are there this weekend and I arranged for a gift to be left in their room for my mums birthday. Sam could not have been more helpful and kept in touch via email, double checking they had the correct person etc. It really was no problem to them. And to top it off the hotel left a bottle of wine in the room as an additional complimentary gift. Thank you Sam!

Good location for station and centre. Quite modern inside, good rooms without being great if you get my meaning. Fluffy duvet! Good value for 80 quid or less.

The staff here are helpful and kind. The rooms are nice with very comfortable beds the breakfast is nice to over all I will say there again for sure.

The room was very good and clean. The beds were big and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good. The staff was very helpful at all the times. Even though the location is in a quite busy road, we didn't hear any noises.

We stayed in the Jurys inn for one night whilst attending a birthday party around Sheffield. The hotel itself was very clean and a great price for the standard we we're met with. The location was fantastic too. Staff were more than helpful and the rooms were super clean!

We booked 3 rooms for one night here, using Trivago @ (843117579107861:trivago Hotel Manager). When we arrived we were told that our booking hadn't gone through to them, even though the money had gone out and I had the confirmation and booking number. The manager told us the hotel was fully booked, and tried to call Trivago, but wouldn't give us the number to call them, as it was only a hotel number for emergencies, and the customer services number was closed. The manager happened to find us the 3 rooms that we needed, as these apparently were from customers who's cards had declined, but we had to pay again, and it was even more expensive. Unfortunately for us, there was a big concert on the that night, so we had no option but to pay again, at a higher rate. The receptionist was very rude, with a really bad attitude. We can't help but feel we have been scammed by the hotel to pay more for the rooms. To top it off we called the hotel after we stayed, to say that we were trying to book but was having a problem with booking through Trivago, only for them to confirm they accept bookings through Trivago?! Neither Trivago, the booking agent we were direct to by Trivago or Jurys Inn will accept responsibility to refund us our money, so I have now had to raise a dispute with my bank. My advice is don't use either Trivago or Jurys Inn.

Lovely huge fluffy towels nice toiletries so why the very thin nasty loo rolls? Room is a good size very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast has large variety but not very quick at replacing missing items on full English. Plenty of other options though.

Great friendly staff, room was OK. Although dated. Comfy bed, clean room and facilities. Wi-Fi OK. Breakfast is awesome, definitely coming back. They also offer a membership / points scheme. Good for business trips.

Nice looking hotel in the centre of Sheffield. Rooms are a bit small but do the job. I would definitely come back if I had to. They do not have a car park but they tell you to park in the secure car park across the road and you can park for 24 hours for £3

Welcoming hotel with professional and friendly staff. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, portion size extremely generous. Requested quiet room and was allocated one on the 5th floor-good nights sleep on very comfy bed. This is my third stay at this hotel.

Really great stay. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Room was clean and beds were comfy — slept great and that doesn't happen often for me if its not my own bed. Breakfast was tasty too. Gets a thumbs up from me.

I stayed at Jurys Inn for just the one night but would happily stay there again and next time I'm up in Sheffield will try and book it. The inside of the hotel feels far more modern and trendy than the outside leads you to believe it will be. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't eat an evening meal there but the breakfast was pretty good with a large selection. It's in a great area. Clearly Sheffield is spending big on regeneration and it's working. Lots of bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk.

This hotel is ideally situated in the town centre. We received a warm welcome by staff at reception and given good instruction on car parking. The room was ready on arrival and fully met our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights over a weekend and had no trouble sleeping. Our room was situated at the rear of the building, which possibly cut out a lot of Street noise. All in all, a great stay.

Clean, good sized rooms with comfy beds. Location is perfect, about 5 minute walk from the station (up a slight hill) and then another 5 minutes to the shops and bars.

Pretty good atmosphere. I only attended briefly for a professional event but it did seem like a pretty good hotel to stay at.

Good business hotel in a central location. Train station is 10 minutes away on foot. Large rooms with comfy beds. Bedside electric sockets. Decent bar downstairs, as well as a good restaurant. Breakfast is very standard for such places — nothing to sing praises to, but it does the job.

I loved the ice machine on each floor! Really friendly staff, nice bar, good beds. Pretty sweet.

Perfect location for me as my office is 5 minutes away. Good rooms. Shower not brilliant but good enough. Breakfast is plentiful and reasonably priced for a hotel. The gym is well maintained with fully working equipment.

Great location and can be had cheaper than some other places if you get a good deal. Room standards are high and it's all clean and fresh.

Receptionist could have been more welcoming. Room was nice and modern with good views on the top floor. Receptionist when leaving was very nice and they will discount your parking if you park in 'the moor'

Excellent location in the city centre with 24hr parking across the road. Rooms are comfortable with everything you need. The staff are very helpful. The food and drink is delicious with an all you can eat buffet breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stayed in other Jurys Inn elsewhere which have been much better. Room was a bit tired, noisy and generally below standard I expected. But staff polite and everything clean.

The staff were all all very friendly and attentive. Our Christmas meal was very nice. The only negative point would be the expensive bar.

Great location for an easy night out. Pleasant room, bathroom not the greatest, but ok. Friendly staff and acceptable prices in the bar (for a hotel). Parked in Eyre Street car park, £5 for 24 hours when validated by the hotel.

Excellent service, very comfy beds and proper power showers. The fitness room is cardio only but does the job. The location is ideal for business in the city.

The location is perfect for visiting Sheffield City centre. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of issues that need to be resolved. The bed sloped so was not comfortable to sleep on and the window was drafty and let noise in from the street. It would also have been better to have a hypoallergenic duvet. Tea and coffee was provided in the room along with a selection of firm or soft pillows. The shower in the bathroom was powerful and they provided good toiletries. Overall a good stay.

Room o. K. But lack of lighting in bathroom doesn't help having a shower at night… breakfast had good choice… overall not bad.

Dining room like a school canteen with sticky tables and help yourself cutlery. Bedroom OK bathroom like something from eastern Europe. Wifi good.

What a load of of crap! the Reception staff are cocky! Ben one of the Managers was PERFECT! He was the kindest out of them all Over all not happy and I want a refund.

Not a single complaint, very impressed with rooms and hotel in general. Bar is a bit expensive but what you expect. Liked: Location, Rooms, Service, Beds, Food, View, Atmosphere, Breakfast Noisey club accross the road hotel has complained to police we had to get room swop from night manager Ben great help and Tour De France was great.

Stayed for 4 days 1may 2 6 may excellent breakfast staff great especially gentlemen on saturday who give us milk in jug who ever was on friday nte promised to send some cartons of mike up but nobody came but enjoyed the service from hotel mike from swansea VAL.
