Absolutely amazing pub/hotel in a lovely little village! Always a pleasure to play there and the hospitality is 10/10.

By actually cooking fresh food. Yorkshire puddings frozen, veg and potatoes microwaved. Cold poor quality, extremely rude bar man tried to overcharge us by £5 crisps out of date condiments out of date. Definitely avoid.

Slightly lacking in atmosphere as like so many pubs in the Dale's the emphasis is more on food. We stopped off for a pint which was fine but as we didn't eat here cannot comment.

Wow! We struggled to get in anywhere for a meal and ended up in here. It was really good service amazing the food was good too! Turned out to be a great choice definately go back for more!

Always a pleasure to visit the Royal Oak for a pint whenever I'm in Settle. Lovely friendly bar staff always ready with a smile and a bit of banter, they really make you feel like locals.

I go there every other Monday to what is called The Pie Club. Which is run by Age Concern because the usual place we meet was the cricket club, and that is being altered. We meet in the dining room at about 11 am and do cross words etc. There is tea and coffee and then a lovely lunch which is always 1st class. There's a car park round the back and it's very central to the town being at the narrowest point so traffic has to go single file.

A group of 26 of us turned up at 12.30 on Saturday with no prior warning and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They opened a separate room for us so we could all sit together and despite the 7 families ordering food separately they brought out all 12 children's meals together before the adults. The children were given crayons and paper by the gentleman that served us and he went out of his way to keep them entertained. The food was lovely and the service was fantastic, I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic service, food was incredible, massive portions and good price. We waited a little while for the food but that's because there were 9 of us and the food is cooked fresh to order. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff, they were welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to come back, can't recommend this place enough. Thank you.
