With original stone flooring, this 18th-century coaching inn is close to the medieval town centre, 800 metres from Beverley Rail Station and Beverley Minster. Fully refurbished in 2018, it has free on-site parking, en-suite rooms and a restaurant. The interior seamlessly blends many original features from 1794, including the arches in the old kitchen, with more modern artwork, log fires and woodburners. The rooms are individually designed and feature flat-screen TVs, hairdryers, work desks and tea/coffee. The en suite bathrooms have showers and toiletries. Downstairs the bar and lounges are open throughout the day for drinks, coffee and snacks, and the light airy restaurant features an open kitchen where you can watch the Chefs at work. All the food is freshly cooked and features many local and regional producers. Outside there’s a large sheltered courtyard with Champagne bar and booth seating. It offers good transport links to York, Leeds Hull, Doncaster and Sheffield.

We had a lovely afternoon tea in your beautiful hotel. The ambiance of the restaurant was first class and our server Vickie went that extra mile to make sure everything was just perfect for us. The chef on the other had needs to know the true meaning of Gluten free and the consequences the sufferer… A lovely afternoon turned into a miserable painful evening for me…
Visited 6 times now. Was very impressed with first visit but getting more disappointed as it goes on. Friday night very very noisy and not a nice atmosphere at all. Whiskey served in a brandy glass! Drinks very expensive. Flooring in ladies toilet frayed and dangerous … reported this to staff few days ago and it hasn't been sorted. Apparently men's toilet floor very wet! Need to sort a few things out for it to be what people were expecting.

Beautiful hotel lovely refurbishment, quite pricey food and drinks. Only one major grumble, please train your staff, they are like moths in a headlight. That apart we enjoyed our stay.
