The staff are wonderful, very friendly and always happy to help. The breakfast is your bog standard full English, or vegetarian full English and is very good. The location is perfect, right next to the front. The only downside is the building, which seems to be 100 years old and the furnishings which seem to be 50 years old. If you're looking for a good value place to stay with no frills you would struggle to do worse.

Nice place needs a little up dating but clean and the staff really friendly and helpful good location and good value for money.

Rooms are basic but serviceable. The hair dryer in our room was broken, but the hotel owner gave us a new one to use as soon as we let him know the one in the room was duff. Breakfast is included, and again, basic but very nice. Staff are very friendly. Would stay here again.

It's was very nice both of you I only like Brighton a lot too, my friend Cheryl like Brighton too.

This hotel was really nice, personal was lovely, smiling and friendly. If I'll have way to brighton in future, 100% I will be here. Room was clean and nice, breakfast served with smile.

Not the Greatest of hotels But is got a lot going for it family run and is Breakfast are lovely not too much on a plate Rooms are very clean feel if there was a small bar it would make a killing that why only four stars.

This is a friendly place in a great location. Brilliant friendly staff.

Well located near the waterfront and not very far on foot from the center, the Pier and the Lanes.
The staff at the hotel is really nice, nice and helpful. The establishment and room note were very clean. The English breakfast is full and plentiful.
Only negatives: size of the room and bed really small, and almost impossible to take a shower in the bathtub so it's cramped and low water flow. But very good address in Brighton.

Cheap cheerful clean friendly good breakfast. Lots and lots of stairs depending where you are and no parking (although parking up the road £18 for 24 hours). Hotel smelled quite strongly of curry which was not on the non-existent dinner menu so think was the owners (family biz) dinner. Don't know if the curry smell is normal but nice enough place near the water.

It did the job it needed to. So many stairs though. Decent breakfast.

A wonderfully relaxed time was spent at this place. Not a five star hotel, by any stretch of the imagination, but very homily. The owners were very friendly, the food was great, the rooms had all that was needed. I will use the andorra in the future!

Where to beginn. Overpriced, bad food, evil manager and the bathroom looked very old and moldy. And a tip for any of you still thinking of going. Do Not book though "visitbrighton", they charge 80 pounds for doing nothing at all … oh yeah and its smelly too …
