Staff and very welcoming, friendly, polite and really helpful… the rooms are fantastic and the most comfortable beds I have slept in, Would highley recommend this hotel to friends and family and will be staying here again.

Ideal location and good night life. Needs a bit more attention to detail and cleanliness in the rooms.

Lovely hotel right on the front literally a stones throw from the pier. We had a large family room. Very spacious and comfy. Basic amenities but that's all you need really. There are obviously more expensive and classier hotels but when you have children this place is ideal. There is a nightclub attached to the hotel so can imagine in the busier months could be a bit noisey which could be a problem with young children or if you are looking for a more peaceful break. There are a few more hotels /B&Bs a little further on which are quite and reasonable too in the high season. Staff are friendly and very polite will help with any problems and give good advice on what to see and do.

The room was nice enough but who puts a club in a hotel? I ended up getting about 4 hours sleep in total, wouldn't have booked the room had I known.

Stayed in New Madeira for 2 nights at the end of feb. Staff on arrival were friendly and helpful. Were giving the keys to room 315 and on opening the door the room was nothing better than shocking. Cold damp with a musty smell. Looked nothing like the photos. Holes in carpet, cracks in the ceiling above the bed. Went back to reception to cancel to which they kindly offered another room which was a massive improvement on the first one. Summary of my stay. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms average at best and I would very much reccommend checking room before paying. Stay clear of room 315

Friendly staff. Nice room. Lovely view of the seafront.

Great price. However, note that it is non-inclusive of breakfast. Rooms are cosy and nice, however the beds are very uncomfortable and pillows too thin. Receptionist is very friendly, as are the cleaners.

I cancelled my reservation over a month before the date held. Yet the hotel still charged my credit card a month later on the day I was previously scheduled to check-in. When questioned, I was told that it was a temporary hold which should go away… but no explanation or apology as to why it was charged in the first place for a cancelled reservation.

Was here for karoke. Bar staff are fun and club is quite nice although small. Toilets need a renovate.

Good value hotel, £3 pints when you show your room key! Ideal!

Cheap and cheerful, very noisy… Avoid if have family's but amazing for hen/stag party's due to the added nightclub.

Nice staff, comfortable bed and shower. But poor sound insulation, we could hear people walking outside and even upstairs.

Location is great, on the sea front and close by the pier and main area. Rooms are standard, not bad shower. Bar and club down stairs. 24 hour entry also.

Our room was perfect and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The only thing that let them down was the quality of the cooked breakfast. Other than that I can't fault it.

Surprisingly powerful showers, comfy bed. We stayed here for a hen do and it was very suitable.

Rooms nice and big, Bar is decent. And it's right on the seafront. Which is a bonus.

I was there two times and everything was good until I had a problem with bedbugs and they didn't do anything! I paid my days there and never again.

Was so bad are room was big but it was so cold we was shivering so much we had no hot water and no heaten in are room we was in 325 it was so cold was unbareable we complained and got given a oil heater that dint heat the room atall was piontless and when we rung down at 2 am we got given dog blankets and told we should be asleep anyway witch o found disgustian for 130 pounds for 0ne nyt it was so bad.

A comfortable and clean hotel, that has a relaxed and chilled feeling, whereby the staff go the extra mile to help with anything you need. Thanks also for holding our bikes from the Annual London to Brighton Bike ride. Thank you.

Rooms I/we experienced were NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS! Or what you'd expect after being in the reception area. Reminded me of the 1970's TV Sitcom 'Rising Damp' where Rigsby wouldn't be out of place! Very shabby, almost 'seedy', quite dirty, smelly, dark and dated. Bed not that comfortable and sparse bedding, shower knob broken and came off, toilet didn't flush well and could hear the neighbour's flush through it. Rusty old bars on many windows, but still didn't feel 100% secure and the view out was terrible, directly on to dank concrete roof tops which were close enough an intruder might still be able to get in? Some possibly accessible windows didn't have locks and some of the curtains didn't fully cover the windows. Found room quite noisy, could hear floorboards creaking/doors slamming in neighbouring rooms and music from the bar downstairs. Really narrow staircases/doorways/corridors with extra steps and heavy fire doors made it difficult maneuvering luggage and the lift is tiny. Didn't sleep well nor feel refreshed after my stay. Not good value for money for the price they charged, in my opinion and hardly any guest parking available. Overall HORRIBLE and would never stay there again! The whole place needs a thorough gutting out and a complete renovation overhaul to bring it up to a decent standard, but the staff we met were nice, friendly and helpful. Budget places I've stayed at in developing countries were of a far superior standard to this place.

Its was a fantastic place.

It is your bog standard hotel but for the price, we got an excellent deal at £17.50 each for the four of us that night. Service was impeccable and everything worked perfectly.

It was an average stay. Functional, but nothing special. The room was a little cramped and the window didn't shut properly so there was some noise at night. The view onto a roof was not great and I was glad I had such great company in the area so I didn't spend an awful lot of time in the room. I stayed for two nights and the room was not serviced properly inbetween (tea making facilities: cup was where I left it, had not been washed, hand towel was strewn across my suitcase not hanging to dry where I left it or neatly folded) The decor was a little dated, too. I found the receptionist and bar staff to be very friendly, though, and the breakfast was fine. The location is excellent.

I had a great stay and a great night the staff where and the hotel was very nice.
