This place is Brilliant it recommended to us and we booked it for a overnight stay with Friends we both have Dogs and there was no problem with that. The Food was first class as was the accommodation plenty off walks for the Dogs with access from the car park at the back off the hotel. The staff were so friendly it made our stay. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Keep up the good Work. Hope to see you all some.

Have been here several times before and always a firm favourite.
Visited last night with hubby, my brother and sister in law and three of us choose something from the High Tea menu. All of us had something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a mass of little bite sized pieces of cakes that they looked delicious but unfortunately we could not manage to eat them. Staff were happy to provide foil trays for us to enjoy later. £12.95 per person with delicious main meal, plenty of toast, tea or coffee and loads of lovely little cakes. What's not to love? Staff always happy to help and very friendly. Love this little gem of a place.

Tried the chippy takeaway tonight, absolutely amazing! Better than imagined, all meals finished and very happy customers. Will be getting this takeaway every week, well worth the wait. Cannot praise enough.

Had the first of the “chippy” take away experience tonight! Food was lovely and hot. Collection was organised and quick! Well done for trying this out! We will be back! Xxx.

Had 3 absolutely amazing courses last night and the steak was cooked to perfection! Very friendly staff and fast service! Highly recommend and we will certainly be back.

Had a lovely meal here tonight, we went for the fish and scampi combo, very fresh and tasty and massive portion, the wee man had chicken nuggets and chips and then Some ice cream he loved it all, would deffo recommend, great food and fantastic service.

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We were leaving before breakfast so the lovely lady made me and my son a packed lunch to take with us.

Lovely place, great service and yummie food. stopped for lunch today 21/10/19 and the place is spotless. female toilets 100% and I love the doggie touch at the door. definitely be back and my daughter and dog are happily accepted too so even better. And intrigued by rooms so all good.

Here for lunch today with in laws. We went for the 2 course light bite lunch which was fabulous. Food was delicious, nice portion sizes for starter and main. Had the soup to start then fish & chips, not too much leaving room for chocolate brownie and ice cream. Want to say thanks again to the lovely lady who served us and put me totally at ease when my young baby was a little upset. Relaxed, friendly local pub, looking forward to next time.

Spur of the moment for four of us on Saturday evening. Table offered and restaurant approx half full. Menu was quite good for options but have been places with more. The food was excellent though, and none of us had any complaints. The wait between courses for me was ideal but is often a conversation point! Will be happy to return!

Excellent food freshly made to order. Loved the little things like homemade tartar sauce. Staff friendly and welcoming. Prices reasonable and good quality decent portions of food. We went mid week and were the only people there looking forward to sampling their Sunday carvery.

Yet another fantastic carvery … full to the brim and some, and still fantastic value for money. Even Carlsberg would find it hard to top.

Sunday carvery is just fabulous. Generous portions, massive choice of meats, all cooked to your liking. A very good range of vegetables to choose from and sweets. Soup for starters is always excellent and every visit is a great experience.

Top rate carvery where you can return to counter for extras even rxtra meat. My father had vegetarian option and was amazed. Turkey was succulent and moist like ive never experienced before. Rare beef to die for. Pork belly and toast gsmmon superb. Friendliest host ive ever come accross.

Sunday Carvery is amazing! They serve big portions and you can have as many trips back for food as you can manage.

The meal was fab as usual been three times now. Staff also very helpfull love the anglers innx.

Went for the carvery and it was amazing. Very good selection of meat that was constantly being brought out so that they never ran out. Nice selection of deserts and the staff were unbelievably friendly and nice. Price was very reasonable and great value. Will definitely be visiting again.

OMG this place is absolutely amazing the food is the best iv tasted in a long time and plentiful. The staff are fabulous and her friendly and the chef/owner is the most friendly funny and professional person who comes out and keeps everyone going on Sunday carvery we will defiantly be back there and highly recommend it to everyone well well well worth a out of your way visit. We were driving through on a road trip in the area. Great service by the attentive blonde, shortish, but substantial menu with Scots elements that were great for our English sensibilities. Good value too.

Carvery is excellent, great choice of different meats. Roast beef comes rare to well done. The owner is very cheerful and full of banter. First time there but will definitely return.

Tried to find a dog friendly place in Blairgowrie, wasn't very successful. We knew Anglers would accommodate our canine in the bar. Even give him a wee drinking bowl of water. I had the tomato and basil soup to start… simply lush.
Followed with the roasted garlic chicken, with crispy Stornoway Black pudding, beautifully cooked veg. And a to die for creamy peppercorn sauce.
It was sensational. Truly. Served by a very attentive young lady, who really couldn't do any more for you. Food businesses should take a leaf out of the the Angler's book…

2nd visit to The Anglers Inn but just as good as our first. We had their 3 course carvery the first time which was lovely. Tonight we both had the fish combo which was delicious and my cookie dough pudding was to die for. Good friendly staff. What more could you want?

Called in yesterday because we had been out for the day and needed something to eat on our way home. The Sunday carvery was still running so we ate from that and very good it was too. We thought the price offered good value for money and you could eat as much as you wanted and have your plate refilled many times. Not that we did! One tiny niggle was that we asked for sparkling mineral water to drink and specifically requested no ice in the glasses. This was written down by the waitress, but ignored by the bar staff. Why serve ice with mineral water which was chilled anyway? Surely you are contaminating the mineral water with the ice? That's what I was taught at catering college anyway. Please don't do it. The Anglers Inn was closed for several years and reopened last year after a major refurbishment. We ate here in August 2014 not long after it reopened and had no complaints then. We were pleased to see the establishment has now "bedded in" and offers friendly service and good food. We would most certainly recommend this restuarant to others and would eat here again if in the area.
