Had a lovely meal last night. Our party had 4 different meals and all were spot on… We will be back.

Fabulous food. Fantastic staff. Social distancing all very much in place.

New to the area, we popped in with the kids for a game of pool in the bar and returned at night for a meal in the restaurant. Friendly, welcoming service. Great menu, and happy to adjust for picky kids! Food was hearty and good value, would return if passing through again.

Booked a room at this hotel for a one night stay on 28th july. Th hotel confirmed the booking and we paid for the room in advance. However on arrival we were greeted with the news they had overbooked and there was no room available. We pointed out to the manager it would have been courtious of him (or a member of staff) to email us beforehand to advise us of the situation. We were offered alternative accommodation albeit the other hotel was a further five miles away… Not ideal but under the circumstances didn't have choice but to accept. If you have a booking with this hotel "he warned" check before travelling they have not overbooked rooms otherwise you my find yourselves in the same position as we were! This is very BAD MANAGEMENT. Lastly I would not give any stars to this hotel but as a good will gesture they gave us a complimentary bottle of wine so maybe (as a goodwill gesture on our part) a reluctant 1*.

Great value for money using a voucher! A small, quaint place for the night with very helpful staff and good food. Only downside was even though it was a Sunday night we could hear very loud pub goers in our room until late and the rooms were a little tired however this is expected.

Attended a well prepared funeral reception. Business very well presented after refurbishment due to flooding some time ago.

Great tastey food, value for money, friendly staff. Definatly go back and would recomend.

Just spent a night in Alyth hotel — food and service outstanding grading of 5 star — worth so much more — rooms dated but clean.

Had the talked about Fish and Chip Friday Special. Yes it is good. Fresh and served with bread and butter abd a pot of tea or coffee. Cannot fault the friendly attentive staff. Nice atmosphere and surroundings. Yes we will be back. Thank you for real good old fashioned service. A real treat.

Brilliant on arriaval manager took us to our room explained how thing work nice personal touch room clean everything you need is there staff really friendly food great everything you need this is our 2nd time staying here and will definately be going back thank you all for your warm friendly approach Joyce Sloman.

We are just back from spending the night there… a wee anniversary present from my sister. … what a charming place. The room was very spacious which pleased me as I have MS and, although I have very small mobility problems, I like to do some yoga postures in the morning to increase my flexibility. The room was big enough for me to do so. The choice of food was fantastic and our meal was lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would recommend it.

We had a great lunch there. I had the venison, and my wife the lamb shank. We went during the week and it was nice and quiet too.

Very warm welcome, good varied menu reasonably priced, warm comfortable and cosy.

Food was fantastic nothing too much trouble. Rooms adequate a little update needed! Some rooms over bar so can be a little noisy but its a pub!

Great value for money. Had High Tea, which consisted of Poached Salmon Salad with Chunky Chips, and assorted Toast with Butter, followed by Pot of Freshly Brewed Coffee (I got 4 cups out of it), newly made Scones, which were still warm with assorted Jams and Cakes, all for £9.50. My wife had Steak Pie, which came with asssorted rustic Vegetables and New Potatoes or Chips, again a healthy portion size. Must be the best value for money in the area.

Good service for a good price. This was a last minute booking. Room was clean and comfortable bed.

Had an overnight stay with my wife, Dinner Bed & Breakfast. Lovely hotel. Greeted by the manager/owner David. Very friendly. Room was great, all the staff very friendly, and the food was exceptionally good and very generous portion sizes. Will definitely recommend and return to this hotel in future.

We're just back from a really lovely stay room clean, beds very comfortable, meal was fabulous, breakfast was very nice too staff very helpful. Great wee gem of a place :-)

Had two meals last week — excellent. The first course of prawn cocktail was generous, and the main course very good. Homely atmosphere and helpful staff made both evenings very enjoyable.

Good food but expensive. Not much for veggies on the menu but they were quick to say they could make alternatives which is good service.
