Wonderful weekend at Lindisfarne — The Manor made us especially welcome. Great food and people. And beautiful surroundings. Very much looking forward to returning 👍

We arrived at The Manor House Hotel as day visitors to the island, a table of 7 with children and were advised by another table that the wait for food was an hour long. This wasn't an issue for us as we had a couple of hours left on our parking ticket which gave us ample time to eat and get back to the car. An hour and a half later and many tables were asking for refunds at this point. There was only a trainee behind the bar who advised there was nothing he could do in terms of refunds and many just left. With only 20 minutes left before our ticket was due to run out we decided to abandon ship. Just as we stood, food then came to our table with no apology for the wait and we had to ask the staff to provide a refund or take away containers. With a small child with us being our main concern, she's had to wait hours for a hot meal to have to eat it now lukewarm from our car using wooden forks from a helpful takeout truck on the car park.

Had a family night away at the Manor House, rooms were clean and well kept. Food was lovely and staff very friendly. Nothing too much trouble. We had 9 rooms between us and we will all be going back.

Waited over 45 minutes for food. When it did arrive, it was barely warm, chips were as solid as bricks and presentation was terrible. Customer service was very poor. Other customers were also complaining about the wait for food and the quality too. Won't be back again and definitely won't reccomend.

Just spent 3 nights at this beautiful hotel. The staff are welcoming, informative and efficient. The accommodation is spotless, rooms beautifully furnished with spectacular views. The location is perfect and the homemade food delicious. The bar has a great feel and the restaurant is gorgeous. A wonderful island to visit and such a joyful place to rest. Many thanks to all and lookng forward to returning 🌞🌊🐚🦭

Lovely food scampi n chips nice wine and guiness. Would reccomend.

Beautiful setting, well spaced tables big enough to seat a family. Very generous and reasonably priced meals.

The food wasnt very nice. The chips were luke warm and scrappy and the fish was burnt. We complained and the waitress said why whats up with them! the food was changed but it wasnt very nice.

Went there for drinks and then for food after a visit to Holy Island, has ruined future fish and chips. If its not from the Manor house hotel I don't want them. Location is amazing, beautiful scenery, friendly staff. Hopefully be having my wedding here in the next year.

Had a 1 night stay which was lovely. Quality service and a lovely evening meal and a fab breakfast. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic location right next to the Priory and a great view of the Castle.
Only minor complaint would be the macerator type of plumbing as its very noisy.

Had two great days on Holy Island and rested up here at The Manor House Hotel. Great friendly knowledgeable staff that always were more than willing to help. Nothing was a problem to them and they remained upbeat and enthusiastic despite having to deal with the restrictions of CV19. Definitely recommend to friends and family for a lovely comfortable stay whilst on the Island.

Came today for lunch, staff were fantastic, food was amazing. can't wait to come back.

Came in on Monday and everything was great, service was quick and friendly, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you.

Living on its views stayed one night cannot comment on food as could not get a table. The room could do with updating bathroom clean but in poor decorative order. Had ordered wine to be in room when we arrived still waiting for it to come. Breakfast in morning was disappointing as what they described as continental breakfast it is anything but, Northumberland breakfast was very plain and they do not have a vegetarian alternative. A rather disappointing experience will never stay there again. P. S went to the ship Inn for evening meal even though they were full they found table for us and the food was excellent.

5 of us called in for lunch last week. The service & the food were second to none. The cauliflower, roast garlic & thyme soup was amazing. The sandwiches were huge! Full of lovely ingredients & more than filling. And finally, the fish & chips! They really were the best I've ever had. I'm just glad I ordered the small portion as it was huge! We spent a lovely couple of hours having a few drinks & playing dominoes. Next time we're on the island we will be back for more.
