Lovely Hotel Great to get back into central Glasgow. As a real foodie Food in the Restuarant was lovely Homemade Vegetable soup with warm crusty roll and Balmoral Chicken Mashed Potato and fresh vegetables. All staff were friendly and attentive. Room was spacious with all useful facilities including Tea and Coffee making and Hairdryer.

Warm friendly efficient service, food was excellent, pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel and staff lovely missed not having bath as it said in booking we had one. I know people will say just a bath but we don’t have one at home and would have loved a wee bath! Apart from that this is a great hotel To stay x.

Just spent Saturday night here. It was our first visit so were a bit unsure what to expect for the price we paid. No need for concern as from check in to check out we had a brilliant stay. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful but still professional. Will be adding this to our regular hotels and will be back very soon.

Can I just say, I was at the 90s night last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. the room, dinner and breakfast and the entertainment was well worth it this was great value and I would recommend to everyone and also I would go back.

Ruby Showers we’re there to set up a display for a Christening, the Staff were one of the most helpful accommodating bunch we have met, even came with a tray of tea. ❤️

Had a family birthday celebration and booked the restaurant for 10 people. Service was outstanding, Staff were extremely helpful and efficient and the food was superb. All in all a very nice experience and look forward to visiting again soon. :-)

Thoroughly enjoyed our break at this hotel. Friendly staff, great service and even better food especially gluten free options. Prosecco in the room was lovely. Rooms are spacious with everything you could need. Even with a big wedding on we weren’t disturbed at all.

Had an amazing Wedding Anniversary dinner. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Very professional service provided by Hazel, Gemma and Rachel. Had a lovely evening with excellent food and drinks. Will be back again.

Had a meeting with Kerri about our wedding in September then our tasting menu. The food was lovely. Gemma looked after us very well.

Would absolutely recommend the Garfield to anyone looking for somewhere to host a special occasion, for an overnight stay or just for a meal and drinks. Been coming to the Garfield for years now and have always had wonderful service. Just had my daughters naming ceremony there on Saturday and it was a fabulous day. Staff go out of their way and are so accommodating and friendly. Food was fantastic! We had the finger buffet and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. They even made one of our guests their own wee pescatarian buffet. We cannot wait to host our wedding here next year. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had the soup ans sandwich deal. Was delicious, defo recommend the food here.

Been going to this hotel since I was a teenager. It has gotten better and better over the years. Food in the grill tonight was beautiful. Especially the Salt & Pepper Chicken.

Service at this hotel, 2nd to none. Staff all make you feel very welcome and remember returning guests. Had the pleasure of holding my wedding at the hotel and we and all our guests loved every minute. Everything we could have asked for and more. Room beautiful, food-amazing service fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone.

Recently stayed at the Garfield and had an amazing experience from start to finish. They were very accommodating with some simple changes we requested and fulfilled very quickly.
Friendly helpful staff who were able to advise and point us in the right direction when needed. Even the new staff in training were helpful and polite when questioned about things that we needed. Breakfast delivered daily on time, still hot which is always a plus. Hotel was very clean and presented well throughout. Food is unbelievable and well priced for what you get with a great selection of choices. Will return when visiting Scotland again as a great base camp to get out and about in the southern part of Scotland. Highly recommended.

Had dinner at the hotel. Was £72 per head and not good. Our party had beef medallions. Beef was rare to medium and more Importantly, was very poor quality meat, definitely not fillet, we were so disappointed. Chef did offer us turkey after we complained but was too late by that time. Staff were lovely and we left a good gratuity bit overall really poor food.

Ross was amazing guiding us through all the Covid restrictions and advising on anything we hadn’t thought about.
On the day John was fantastic at arranging everything, ever detail and request was met with out us having to lift a finger. Xx.

We had a lovely meal here today good was fantastic and the staff were amazing Ross had great banter and was great with the kids also. The other guy cant mind his name " the guy from Moodiesburn" was also very attentive and also had great chat and banter too!

Stayed overnight last weekend and had such a great time. The staff, Ross and Connor, were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, amazing food for dinner as always and a fab breakfast served as room service. Hands down the best night's sleep I think I've ever had in a hotel. Would highly recommend the hotel and restaurant.

Brilliant to be here following full lock down staff so genuinely pleased to help thanks for being open it made my visit home fantastic and let me finally see my mum who is in a care home and my kids after sooooo long can’t wait to move back to Scotland permanently.

My son got married here last year was fabulous John and all the staff couldn’t do enough for us meal was great service was great and we all stayed overnight highly recommended.

We got married here 12th July and it was the most perfect day. The staff are very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The bridal and honeymoon suites are beautiful and the food delicious.

We got married yesterday in The Garfield House Hotel and we had such an amazing day from start to finish. Staff are so helpful especially John and Connor. The food was great, honeymoon suite was beautiful. An amazing package and venue for any wedding. Wish I could do it all over again!

We got married here almost 7 years ago, everyone still talks about fantastic it was, the staff where outstanding from start to finish. John in particular made our day go without a hitch and everything was timed to perfection. Food was spot on, our suite was gorgeous. Only disappointment was not getting our overnight stay on our first anniversary. But couldn’t fault our wedding day, the Garfield truly helped create beautiful memories.

The venue for my nieces wedding was perfect. It was beautiful, the wedding meal was almost spot on as a celebratory meal I would have like something more than pasta. We stayed the night before and used the restaurant, the food was delicious, very tasty, well presented and decent price, however the service was VERY slow took us approx 2 1/2 hour to complete our meal, starter arrived almost an hour after we ordered and the time before courses was too long. The rooms were clean enough, but the family room consisted of a double bed and two mattresses which appeared to be on the floor, albeit very comfy sleep. The staff were great and so helpful couldn’t do enough for us. Despite all this I would definitely go back and would highly recommend.

Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless. Probably the cleanest I've stayed in. Bed was so comfy, had a great sleep. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were very tastey. Could do to have a better continental selection for the price but overall a lovely stay and would defenatly return if in the area.

Lovely hotel and staff were wonderful, my hubby, myself and children (2 and 4) had been camping for 2 weeks in a campervan in France before our sleep over at hotel so the children were very excited and very loud. The staff were great with them and they even gave them ice cream for pudding to take to the room. The children had the children's menu which I picked the 2 starters to see if they would try them, melon and soup but it was mushroom and tarragon. Needless to say they both fought over the soup and asked for more. The lovely staff gave us some home this morning, now that is service. Thank you for a lovely night.

Stayed here for 7 weeks while working away from home.
Everything was fantastic about it breakfast was cooked fresh every morning and was delicious.
The staff are all really friendly and Hazel the bar maid was so friendly helped me from not feeling home sick.
Rooms were spot on and cleaned every day to high standards would recommend a stay here anytime.
