Feels like someone gave up on this site 5 years ago. You're met by overflowing bins at entrance, mouldy shower, broken kitchen (without enough glasses or mugs for four), dangerous items such as screws sticking out floor door-bars and chicken wire sticking up from rotten steps. The kitchen has fat stains up the wall, black mould and fat all over the light fittings, broken sockets and damaged bits held on by screws. The lodge is damp, with bits of roof and wood hanging off. The view is blocked by the overgrown overgrowth, and the 'beach' is accessed by the poo-machine area. Don't be mistaken — this site is NOT the main lodge site, it's nearly 2miles away. The pictures seen on the Hoseasons site are not accurate. The main site has (cold) washing machines, tiny, tiny pool and everything is a chargeable extra. The long list of spelling mistakes in the lodge information book sums things up — Hoseasons couldn't care less. So disappointed a family holiday we saved hundreds for is so poor. Avoid.
