Absolutely brilliant hotel brilliant staff whom I miss very much it was my 50 special birthday and they treated me like a princess can’t wait to go back real soon xxx.

We had an enjoyable lunch here today in this great dog friendly hotel. Service with a smile, good value, and the dogs enjoyed the complimentary dog biscuits.

Quality pub only in for drinks but very welcoming bar staff doing great in these strange Covid times dog friendly we had 4 doggies in be back soon for food.

We stayed here for 2 weeks during part of our house renovation. It was absolutely amazing! It was spotlessly clean with a super comfortable bed. We couldn’t have been more pleased!

I always stay here when I'm travelling visiting customers, foods good the staff are friendly and beds are comfy, what more do you need.

Great friendly atmosphere, the food is amazing, the staff are always friendly and helpful and the entertainment on a Saturday night is amazing especially the brilliant Robyn Taylor and best of all is there dog friendly.

Pub type food that is all excellent and good value for money. Full bar and reasonable prices. The staff are all super attentive and friendly! Free Music or entertainment Friday and Saturday nights and they host many festival events!

Absolutly loved our time at The Crown hotel! Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpfull. Room was defo 5 star! Spotless not a spec of dirt/dust. Daily made the bed, hoovers and refreshed thw entire room and bathroom. Loads of little gifts left daily for myself and two nephews. Food served in the hotel was beautiful too and so was the inclusive service. Treat the boys like little princes but also like grown ups! Whenever I return to Callander I will be back to visit the crown! Made us feel right at home and so well treat. Thankyou for having us!

Only visited for lunch (chicken & mushroom pie and chips with veg) which was fine, very impressed by the only member of staff (that I could see) who was tending to the bar and taking the food orders in a busy lounge/bar.

Avoid restaruant at all costs. Tasteless, low quality meals, hordes of tourists. The only gem was the lovely waitress trying her best on a busy evening.

Stayed here 1 night nice room, nice pub, good dinner, fantastic breakfast. I will be back.

We won a voucher for a three course meal which we had last night. Warm friendly greeting from staff excellent service the black pudding starter was delicious my hubby had venison and I had the fish both dishes were lovely and we had the pannacotta for pudding that was to die for we will be back for sure.

We popped in two minutes before the lunch menus was to end and the young girl could not be more helpful. She was fantastic, serving customers at the bar, serving tables, checking in residents of the hotel. The food and drinks were excellent, reasonably priced too. Couldn’t get over the number of jobs this one girl done without complaint and always a smile.

This place have no shame about publicly hating on the English. I bobbed in to see if they were showing the football (actually wanted to watch the France game), very politely asked the lady behind the bar, "Are you showing the football tomorrow? " To which she responded, "Aye. As long as England isn't playing. " When I laughed incredulously, she continued in full seriousness that they show all football games except bloody England. No worries, love, this is one English person who will not be visiting your pub again.

Very noisy not warned that on both nights that their would be live music until midnight on the 1st night and 11/30 on the 2nd. Room was ok but breakfast very poor. Very expensive for what we had. Would not recommend it.

Great food and the single malt I had was recommended by the young waiter which was really nice. Had a haggis for the first time out here.

We went for lunch. The restaurant/bar was well presented and service was very good. The menu was labelled for dietary requirements which is why we chose there for lunch as one of the guests requires gluten free. A slight problem that the meal advertised as gluten free was not actually gluten free as we were informed the chips are cooked in a fryer also used to cook breaded scampi etc (rendering it not gluten free). I understand there's a misconception about these things but as my wife has coeleac disease this really isn't any good and meant her only option was soup. Anyway, nice place, my Mac and cheese was pretty nice and the chicken option our friends went for looked sizable and was polished off, other people's food looked good too in typical hotel bar fashion. If you've got no special requirements then all good. In saying that, they were advertising gluten free lager which is something you don't see everywhere.

Dropped in for a quiet drink! 3 Televisions playing football really on a sunday. Old person behind the bar said we don't usually serve just drinks but we will on this occasion. Then told us to take a seat and on bringing over the drinks told us your meant to come to the bar for them. In our opinion the service was ok the manners of the old lady were diabolical all in all terrible experience not every one watches football would never recommend and would never go back Ĺ

Came for an unplanned and much needed meal, it was tasty, beers were good and service was excellent.

We were in town for one night and decided to go to the Crown Hotel for an early dinner. We arrived just as they started dinner service. A number of the tables had reserved cards on them but they sat us quickly. Prices were reasonable and the portions were good. Employees were friendly though we could tell whom the locals were among the patrons because their service was better. There was nothing to complain about, though.

Basic service (order at pub counter), ok food. Good if you want to watch sports on their 52 inch 1080p TV while eating, otherwise there's better places in town.

Traditional bar with food and visiting real ale, cosy and relaxing, located near carparks on the main street near local shops. Lively atmosphere with sporting events shown frequently and live music most weekends.

Good place to dine in the city of Callander. In addition to a hotel, it is a good pub for dinner or to taste a beer with good value for money. Recommended.

Brilliant hotel staff amazing ishbel and bill great hosts you will be well looked after I had the tea time special chilli beef and for dessert meringue nest and fruits lovely a great place for the weekend live music and dancing tourists locals all dancing great atmosphere recommend to all.

Lovely wee place out a run with my parents & Daughter & our wee pug puppy we went for lunch here, staff so welcoming even brought our wee puppy a bowl of water. The food was excellent we all had steak pie which I must say was delicious & Both my parents had 1/2 portions which they also accommodate for, I would recommend this hotel / restaurant & hopefully return soon.
