We had our wedding in the Clandeboye Lodge back in October and we had the best day ever! The staff were so attentive and our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was!

We had our wedding here on the 15th and there’s only one word to describe it AMAZING! Everything was perfect, the Clandeboye lodge is a stunning venue and they really couldn’t do enough for us, first class service! Many thanks from Mr & Mrs Lowry👌🏼

This is the second time staying in this hotel and both times have been amazing The staff are first class, friendly and efficient. The rooms are to a very high standard. The beds are huge and extremely comfy it’s been a real treat staying here again 🎄Especially sparkly and a little bit more magical staying in December with all the decorations up 🍳Breakfast is nice, we stayed and had dinner one evening everything that came to table was very good our table of 6 all enjoyed there food Thank you — would definitely recommend.

Delightful place to stay in the quiet of the countryside just outside Belfast. Excellent staff and lovely food along with nice rooms.

Recently delivered a wedding cake to the hotel. What a beautiful hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. The buzz was fantastic and the reception room it’s self was absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend any couple looking for a wedding venue to check it out.

We just got married on Monday 10th October and my word we arrived on Sunday from the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was absolutely outstanding. The staff were so personal and always spoke to you and came to help with anything you need. Jordon our master of ceremonies was fantastic nothing was ever to much. The whole events team is amazing. The food was absolutely delicious everybody raved about it We stayed in the ultra luxe suite the night of our wedding and my word it was out of this world could have stayed in the bathtub all day Thank you to all the team from the bottom of our hearts.

Me and my missus went for a night away which included a 3 course meal and breakfast we both had an amazing stay the room was lovely and very cosy! The food was delicious the staff were exceptional! Very helpful no task to big or small! We will definitely be back for another stay and try something else from the menu 🙂

Beautiful stay with such lovely staff! Had a wake up call with fresh coffee every morning and they were all so helpful with things to do in Belfast. The only thing I would say to make my next stay better is maybe investing in some air con as the rooms get super hot and the small fan does nothing but other than that what a beautiful place.

I had my wedding here on Friday and it was the most magical day the staff couldn't do enough for us anyone thinking of getting married here do it best venue about definitely 5 stars.

Only getting around to leaving a review from our wedding in August 2021. We would 100% recommend the Clandeboye lodge as a wedding venue! The staff are truly fabulous at what they do! Ian Gia and Lorraine are helpful and really lovely and Erin and Ben were our master of ceremonies on the day and they are huge assets to the Clandeboye lodge team! The food was incredible that’s all we heard from our guests was how impressed they were. Portions were great, food was hot and really delicious! The venue itself is beautiful, they have made amazing additions during the pandemic that have made the setting even better than before, that will really suit any couple with any number of guests. Thank you all again for making our day so special 👰🏻🤵🏻‍♂️ x.

Would highly recommend the hotel I stay on a regular basis for work. Staff are all so helpful, professional and friendly; nothing is too much trouble.
The food is fabulous. The hotel has beautiful grounds and elegantly decorated.

Stayed for a night with my husband. Staff were lovely, bed was super comfy (didn’t wanna get up). We got room service after coming back from a function elsewhere and the food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely stay again.

We got married in the Clandeboye on 14/12/20 and honestly we loved every single second! The staff on the day were incredible! I wish I could thank every single one of them! Ian, Gia and Lorraine were absolutely amazing helping us plan and kept me calmk when we had to delay it! I honestly can't thank you guys enough.

What a lovely hotel with very friendly, professional staff. The rooms were very comfortable and well presented. The food in the restaurant was excellent with lovely interior decor and a very inviting heated terrace. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

What a lovely hotel. Couldn’t fault it in the slightest. Staff were superb and nothing too much trouble. Looked after our small group celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and ensured we had the best of times. Would thoroughly recommend this to everyone for everything including its location which is in the countryside but a very close commute to both Bangor and Belfast.

We stayed at the Clandeboye Lodge & had a lovely meal in the Coq & Bull restaurant for valentines. As per previous stays, lovely surroundings, rooms & really friendly, accommodating staff.

I have been enjoying coffee mornings with my friends for many years and also my wife and I enjoy Sunday lunches etc. Very pleasant surroundings and friendly staff always make my visits most enjoyable.

Superb meal tonight at the Coq n Bull Restaurant. Excellent waiter — very friendly and professional. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you.

Wasn’t expecting the fabulous decor, welcoming fire and comfortable furnishing. It was all so cosy. Toilets so modern, spotless and smell great. Food was amazing and staff welcoming and friendly. What’s not to love? Oh, and company was the best too!

Lovely hotel. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and a comfy bed in nice big rooms, although they are probably in need of a refresh for the price you pay.

We have just had our wedding here and honestly we could not have wished for better. The owners and staff went above and beyond to make our day special. From the beautiful venue, the incredible food, the precise coordination to the overwhelmingly friendly service provided by all. No stone was left unturned. They really thought of everything. Could not recommend the Clandeboye highly enough.

Had my 40th birthday party here at the weekend and it was brilliant start to finish. The room was lovely and everyone said the buffet food was delicious. I will definitely use again for future events as Ian and Lorraine were fab when initially enquiring and organising it and Graham the manager fantastic on the day. Thank you.

We had our wedding just last week on the 12th October 2018 and we couldn’t fault a single thing, from booking our wedding back in January until the day after the wedding we were looked after like royalty! The whole events team were excellent, no question too silly or no limit to the answers we got! A massive thank you to all involved in our day!

We had our wedding at Clandeboye Lodge on 22nd July and I cannot fault anything at all! The venue is stunning, the staff were amazing, the food is beautiful and we had the best day. 5 stars from us! Thank you for making such a special day better than we could have imagined.

Me and my wife photographed a wedding at the Clandeboye Lodge on the 25th of June. The room used for the ceremony was beautiful and the large window made for great lighting which can sometimes be an issue. Just across the road Crawfordsburn Country Park for folks getting married at the Clandeboye Lodge makes for an easy place to get to for photographs. The staff at the venue where very friendly and helpful on the day.

I'm getting married next year here. The girls and management couldn't be more nicer. I love the events team. Angela and Lorraine are fantastic. Been here for lunch too. Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Gorgeous surroundings.

Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Ever! Amazing food. Beautiful restaurant. Doesn't feel like a typical restaurant in a hotel. So cozy. Comfortable beds. Spa like washrooms. Amazing customer service. So happy I chose this place!

If I could rate this hotel with 10stars I would! We had our wedding here last weekend and I have never felt so stressfree in my life! Both myself and my husband loved every minute there, both on the day before the wedding and the day itself! Every single staff member was amazing, they could do not do enough for us and we really did not want to leave! Every single guest came up at the end of the day to say how wonderful the venue and the staff had been, and how accommodating they were with any requests! Absolutely amazing and stunning venue and we will 100% be back!

We had our wedding at the Clandeboye on the 19th July and I dont really know what to say… all the staff that work there (and I mean all of them) were amazing to work with, nothing was too much hassle! And they kept us stress free! Everyone of our guests commented on how nice the venue was, and the food I am still drooling thinking about the meal we got … Out of this world! I couldnt recommend the Clandeboye enough… thank you from me and Philip and all our family and friends! We had thee best day ever!

Fantastic venue for a wedding. The meal was fantastic. Staff friendly. Rooms really nice. I would have given 5 stars except I was disappointed with the cooked breakfast.

This is a lovely quiet hotel, comfortable beds and tasty food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. This was my second stay at this hotel and we will be back soon.

Had a fantastic time at my cousins wedding I spent weekend here and the friendly staff couldn't do enough for us totally recommend to anyone thinking of styling hrre.

Just had our daughters wedding there they created the perfect day for us, if you are thinking of having a wedding there don't think about it just book it, venue, food, service all perfect we are still buzzing can't thank them enough. 10/10. Brilliant.

Excellent hotel. Comfortable rooms. It has a really lovely location. The wedding 'chapel' has a nice brick and wooden beam look. It has really helpful staff. Was there for a function and it was run excellently and the food was delicious. The breakfast/dining area in the main hotel feels like a lovely old church Your sat nav might take you slightly past it so pay attention!

Had dinner here with friends and most impressed with the decor. Have not been here since the renovation. Bright and modern decor. Menu comprehensive — something for everyone — and my fish was gorgeous. Waitresses were lovely and attentive. Highly recommended.

Having attended various works Christmas dinners over the last 30 something years, I always knew thus was an excellent venue. This was my first wedding here and coincidentally, my Sons wedding. So there was always going to be a fair amount of trepidation. Fear not folks. What a fantastic day. The organisation and attention to detail was second to none. No hitches, no panic. The staff were fantastic, the meal top notch. The whole experience was one I’ll never forget. So a huge Thank you to all the staff who helped make this day so special. If I had 20 children, I’d have all their weddings here. I can’t recommend the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel enough. A special shout out to Ian… I’m away to get my hair done ‍♀️

The setting for this Hotel/restaurant is beautiful. Surrounded by a forest with a beautiful golf club nextdoor it is both picturesque and tranquil. The interior is the best mix of modernity with antiquity I have seen. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is relaxed, intimate and romantic. There menu is a perfect selection of beautiful dishes which are prepared to perfection. My vocabulary is inadequate to describe this experience. You need to go here.

My wedding was yesterday 31.1.18 at the Clandeboye Lodge and cannot recommend them enough! Fantastic staff throughout the whole hotel+events team! Everybody made sure my Husband and I were well looked after and made to feel at ease! Beautiful venue with the new stone wall behind the top table and the new chairs. The meal was also exceptional, every course was perfect, it was delicious! Thank you all!

Very nice and clean rooms. The restaurant has a great tasty choice for dinner, also the breakfast is of a good quality and very friendly and helpful staff — such a perfect choice for staying.

Sunday lunch at the Cock and Bull was great except the steak and Sunday roast were requested at medium rare and come more medium well. Apart from that it was great.

Amazing place to stay near Belfast. Its about 30 minutes drive from the city centre but totally worth it. Ambience is superb, they have spacious modern rooms with all basic amenities. Staff is very friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. I couldn't find a reason to complain.

My new favourite place. Great rooms lovely setting, decent restaurant and the friendliest, most welcoming staff (and I travel a lot). Seriously, if you're looking for somewhere the outskirts of Belfast you'd be missing a trick not to try this place.

As I drive back home from an exceptional wedding, Im reflecting on amazing company and superb food, this venue make for the perfect wedding, service was exquisite!

Attended a wedding then stayed over. The room was great, well kept and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good also.

I attended as part of a function — the meal was preset. It was a fairly traditional dinner with vegetable soup to start followed by turkey and ham with stuffing, roast potatoes, mash potatoes and mixed vegetables. The meal was really nice and the staff and venue were excellent.

Went for a meal over Easter so was a set menu, but everyone enjoyed their food. They kept their set menu a fair bit simpler than their usual one (which has a lot more variety) but even the simple things were done well.

We had a meal at the coq and bull on 27 Feb. Service was first class and so was the meal. I am gluten free and was provided with a list of allergens and was told that some meals could be adjusted to make it gluten free. Definitely be back.

This is one great wedding venue, conveniently just located outside Bangor with fantastic grounds for your wedding photos. The staff are so helpful, friendly and professional they will make your wedding day everything you have dreamed of and some, we love working there always a pleasure.

Service was faultless though booked in advanced paid a deposit, then they charged the full amount! So diner was a set price and then they sting you for the desposit as well. Will be taking this up with the manage as staff obviously are lacking in knowledge or bookings.

Was at a formal here. Meal was great, room nicely decorated. Staff were excellent and entertainment was good.

Had a great day at a wedding inThe Clandeboye Lodge on 5 Sept 2015 — lovely decor, relaxed atmosphere and THE BEST food I have ever had at a wedding. Mushroom sauce was amazing.

Great food, friendly staff and literally 2 minutes from the golf course. Only problm was with the distance from the local town.

A bit pricy, but for that, you get excellent service, nice rooms with flat TV and a superb morning view into the nature.
