Afternoon tea was beautiful. Definitely recommend this place. So much delicious food. Sandwiches, mini quiches to die for, fresh (still hot) scones with butter cream and jam and sooooo many gorgeous pastries with unlimited tea and water refills plus the staff are so friendly 🥰

What can I say, we had a surprise 70th birthday afternoon tea here for my mum, it was amazing from first booking to the food was just perfect. Staff were excellent and even tho short staffed they were impressively calm, efficient and so helpful. I can't recommend this place enough, the food, the surroundings, the decor, the service all were 100%

Had afternoon tea here today and was absolutely outstanding! I can say that it was up there with the best gluten free afternoon tea I’ve ever had! Would highly recommend Maryville Tea Rooms. Beautiful setting as well 😊🥰

I am a returning customer and delighted to stay at Maryville House, a beautiful house, boutique/ homely style, great location with lots of amenities and shops nearby, off-street parking on the grounds, no traffic noise, so a peaceful sleep was guaranteed, a short taxi to central Belfast if you want to hit the town. The room I had was immaculately clean, a very comfortable bed, cosy and tastefully decorated. Nicola can not do more to make your stay a fabulous experience, she is extremely friendly and helpful, and the pricing is very reasonable. I didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the afternoon tea, but I will make time on my next visit. Please take a moment, visit and stay at Maryville House; it's a lovely experience with the friendly and customer-focused staff.

Brilliant stay breakfast is brilliant and on the last day Even got complimented a free bottle of 1901 Irn Bru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Rooms incredibly clean, TV Wi-Fi good and your own ensuite bathroom what more could ya ask for 12/10 and 6 out of 5 stars 😃😉🙂😊

Me and my partner went in a morning for a breakfast to this lovely house and absolutely enjoyed our presence.
This is an old house with a few rooms for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Some rooms are placed in private atmosphere that would perfectly suit for a dinner with friends or family. It was very atmospheric, cosy and quiet, even guests were talking very quietly, — respectfully to the other guests and you could hear a nice classical music on the back ground. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, making sure that the drinks are nice, hot and fresh and after 15 minutes they just offered to exchange them for a fresh ones, which was very nice. All the decorations were beautiful and in the Victorian style, which is again absolutely spectacular.
Would definitely come back and recommend this nice spot 🙂

Got this beautiful luxury treat box from my daughter for Mother’s Day and it is absolutely amazing! The attention to detail and flavours of everything in the box is absolutely gorgeous ❤️ staff were lovely and so helpful, can’t wait to go for afternoon tea when it opens again! 😍

Simply the best afternoon tea in Belfast. Also recently made the most delicious birthday cake for my sister, simply beautiful on the outside and tasted amazing.

Had afternoon tea here today and the service was amazing, the girl serving our table was so lovely and on hand for anything we needed the food cakes etc were delicious definitely the best afternoon tea we have been to x.

Thank you Maryville for a beautiful afternoon tea last Saturday. 2 vegans and a vegetarian and we were catered for beautifully. The vegan scones were the best I've tasted. And the coconut cream beautiful.
The tomato and basil soup was stunning and a very welcome addition on a cold day. You even had oat milk!

Took my mum for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday and it was perfect. The Xmas afternoon tea was wonderful, the little bowl of soup was delicious, canapés were very tasty and the cakes and pastries were amazing. The girl who served us was lovely and friendly and seemed genuinely delighted when we complimented the food. It was a really lovely afternoon and would definitely come back.

Went to the Roaring 20’s afternoon and it was absolutely fantastic. The layout was lovely, the food was stunning and the girls working there were so attentive and had so much attention to detail. Will definitely be booking a festive afternoon tea!

I had afternoon tea there with a group of friends on the 22nd September. We had a great time. Brilliant staff, so accommodating and no-pressure time-wise. Food was amazing and very tasty. Thank you to the staff for a great afternoon.

I had organised a work hen party for afternoon tea and it was honestly the best idea! the food was absolutely amazing and the staff couldn't have been nicer! everything from the booking right through was so easy to do as I could keep in contact with Karin over Facebook who no matter what time of the day it was couldn't be more helpful 100% recommend and can't wait to come back for more afternoon tea ♥️

The accommodation is stunning. The staff are so personable. Upon arrival we received prosecco and tray bakes. Beautiful breakfast. Central location. The beds are so comfortable. We could not ask for more.

My husband and I stumbled upon Maryville House when we were trying to find a place for breakfast while in Belfast. It was so good, and the staff was so nice. We felt like a part of the family! And the blueberry scones are to die for! We came back to Maryville House for each breakfast while we were here. If you are in Belfast and need a great breakfast and the friendliest of hostesses, this is your place!

Beautiful tea rooms with friendly helpful staff. Small carpark available to park in. Food was very tasty. We asked for a mixture of canopes and sandwiches. Lots of choice. There is a wide selection of teas available too. The desserts were delicious. The tray of desserts in the pictures serve 3 people. Freshly made scones that were still hot were to die for. Baby changing also available. Didn't feel rushed and plenty of room around the tables.

Dietary requirements (a vegan & a gluten free omni) very well catered for, highly recommended. Great surroundings, wonderful staff! Just let them know your dietary needs a few days in advance and you'll get a super feed!

The food is always good here but the service is always terribly slow, even more so when it is even slightly busy. Sadly, we won’t be back which is a shame as we live very close…

What a great spot. Classy. Lovely. Great tray bakes food and coffee. The ambiance alone is worth the visit. Staff are lovely too.

What a fantastic afternoon tea. Amazing all round experience. Organised as part of a hen day for my brothers fiancé and staff were so helpful from beginning to end. We had 21 girls and gluten free request as well. Organising was a dream — staff so helpful at emailing and letting us know our options. We were able to go over the day before to leave decorations and table pieces. The room looked fab and the food was second to none. Never tasted such delicious and fresh sandwiches. Such a gorgeous range of flavours eg chicken and avocado. Brie and grape.
The sweet treats were tooooo good and everything was just so fresh.
The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and I’m so glad we chose it as part of the day. All the girls really enjoyed it and I would highly recommend this beautiful place for its surroundings it’s food and it’s beautiful staff as well. Thank you so much!

Warning to guests with mobility issues this is Not one bit for you*** on arrival my friend was heading for surgery the next morning and unfortunately had the very unpleasant experience staying here the night before it so called evening porter was extremely unpleasant unprofessional and in my opinion dog rude all he care about was getting wherever he was going in a hurry. Due to the fact of the unhelpful nature I would seriously reconsider using this B&B as far as the complaint to the staff the next morning (this lady seemed to be the only one willing to listen) may as well have go on deaf ears the only part of the complaint listened to and responded to was the stained sheet on the bed below is a picture from the top of stairs where he was put in one of the attic rooms and iended up having to stay in belfast overnight as I could not trust anyone there to help him down in the morning I for one will not be recommending this establishment to anyone I know.

I had a bad experience at this B and B. The double room was tiny with only one bedside locker, no wardrobe, no in room tea / coffee facilities. There was also an unresolved issue with a shared bathroom that had not been mentioned when I booked. I had to lock the bathroom and felt very insecure. The train ran behind the building and literally shook the room. When I asked to speak to the manager on leaving I was handed an e-mail address. I sent a message but no one replied. I feel the room was a part of a suite as the shared bathroom was with a larger room. I felt fobbed off.

Visited yesterday and was very pleased with the service and the presentation provided. My granddaughter got it as a Christmas present for me and my husband. Really loved it. Had afternoon tea which was absolutely beautiful. Will go again and also tell my friends how good it is. Thanks for a great time.

Very nice and bright inside, with a good array of sticky buns and nice choice of hot food. The down side is contrary to their claim, they are terrible with gluten free food! And the staff could try and pretend they are happy to serve you.

Very disappointed with my visit today. I have been to Maryville house many times before and have enjoyed each time and the food has been lovely. However today my wife and I had a rare afternoon off together with our daughter in nursery so we decided to treat ourselves to a nice lunch in our favourite spot on the lisburn road. We arrived and were waiting to be seated, however various members of staff busily walked passed us and ignored us. The tea room only had two other customers. We were then finally spoken to by a waitress asking if we were okay. We then asked for a table and were brought to a table with dirty cups/utensils from the previous customer which was cleared. We sat at the table and several minutes passed before the waitress then approached us again asking if we would like menus. I don't know why this would need to be asked. So we got the food menus brought down, were not told what the soup of the day was or told what the specials were and there was no visable sign anywhere to tell us either. Our table had also not been wiped from the previous customer and the waitress them attempted to wipe off some crumbs with her hand! After looking at the menu we discovered we had not been brought a drinks menu either. We then tried to get the waitresses attention to ask for one and was told she would be back in a minute. When she came back she had the note pad to take our order. We then asked what the soup of the day, specials etc were and had to ask for a drinks menu.

Lovely quaint place. Lovely food. Pleasant staff. Usually a free table. You will not be disappointed.

Such a lovely experience. Went with a couple of friends who live in Belfast and coming from Denmark it is a fascinating and heartwarming feeling having tea in so uplifting surroundings. Would do it again in a heartbeat — the canapes were to die for!

Peaceful, quiet and good food. Also has bedrooms for overnight stays. Staff are lovely, always helpful. Great for a business lunch if your actually wanting to hear what the other person is saying. I definitely would recommend a visit.

Firstly the food was ok and definitely not bad or the issue. On the other hand the service and the staff leave something to be desired. Arriving at 11.45 I didn't realise that breakfast was no longer served and was quite taken back when told we had to order from the lunch menu which had an all day breakfast. Surely if your cooking a breakfast, what's the harm in a bit of black pudding and mushrooms going on? After eating I asked to pay by card but was told the machine didn't work, for a b n b I found it hard to believe, after being asked to go 5 mins down the road to an atm, after returning guest were waiting to pay for their stay (whom where being overcharged) and were paying by card. Confused to say the least. With today being the last day of the round pound, I received 3 round pound coins in my £4.95 change. I asked these to be changed which was met with a look of disgust, as if I'd asked for £1 notes. As I had walked down the Lisburn Road to get cash for them, the least they could do is throw me back a fiver but that didnt happen, she counted out the £4.95. After paying I still said Thank You to not even get a Thank You back. Service and manners cost nothing and if your card machine doesn't work I think you should inform your guests before hand. Amen.

Great for a really nice, reasonably priced lunch in a beautiful old house. Their bacon is to die for. Amazing selection of cakes and sweets.

Very enthusiastic staff, quiet location, warm and clean room and good taste breakfast. Totally worth the money. The staff is nice for waiting me at a very late night check-in and show me around the tea house and room. Excellent B&B in belfast.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were warm, comfortable and well decorated, meaning I felt right at home. Definitely beats the impersonal hotel experience. Would recommend breakfast, the food is amazing.

Really cute b and b but the breakfast took awhile to come out if you weren't there first thing or if it wasn't busy. The shower was a lot cooler than what Im used to at home, but the room was lovely, spacious and felt homely. I would go back there again, the staff seemed friendly and helpful.

Lovely house and nice location.

Excellent for afternoon tea or a lovely brunch. Parking is a pain with a very cramped lot, so park on the street if possible. The ambiance is very quaint and charming as befits a b&b. The dining room is a little tight with tables a bit close so you lose some privacy, but the atmosphere makes up for it. The coffee and food are excellent, particularly the French toast. Definitely get a side of bacon. Service was a bit slow, but wasn't an issue with the relaxed vibe. Very friendly though.

A beautiful bed and breakfast! Rooms immaculate, staff very helpful and location is great. On Lisburn Road in south Belfast very close to restaurants, bars and cafes etc. Would recommend.

Stayed the night and had afternoon tea and little desserts and a great made to order breakfast. The best B&B we have ever stayed in. A great location, very safe, went jogging off Lisburn Road in early Am, lots of cute coffee shops, restaurants, shopping was great including some amazing charity shops. Loved the people at the B&B, very friendly, professional and helpful.

Lovely location for a coffee and ideal for formal and informal meetings. Staff always polite and cheerful. Highly recommended.
