Great place to stay, very clean. Complimentary paper, magazine and water by your bed. Waiter Joe Sweeney in the restaurant goes over and beyond in an extremely busy environment. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Vacationing from Canada. Benedicts is a fantastic hotel! Great location, beautiful clean rooms, outstanding restaurant and lounge with great service. Most of all the staff is amazing! Very helpful and courteous. Would like to especially thank Ashley (Manager) and Natasha at the reception desk for all of their help with directions and booking events and a great customer service experience!

Hotel is lovely, based in good location. Rooms are modern with all amenities provided. Huge bar and restaurant area, really good band playing the night we stayed. Hotel staff really nice and approachable. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Looks nice and bar is very characteristic. Loud music. Friendly staff. Had a good room at the backside. At night music beats from some bar? On a thursday until 1 o'clock. Very 'fluffy' pillow and cover. Bed a bit soft. In the room is a wardrobe with light that reacts on movement… Not great if you go to the bathroom at night!

Great deal on an overnight stay with four course meal and breakfast the following day. Have stayed a few times during the week so not too busy and the staff are all lovely and helpful. Beautiful rooms.

Good idea for lunch only for 6.95. Nice place to spend moments in tranquility, at least for lunch, great and varied food, delicious fried onions but pesantine to face the afternoon… all accompanied by the inevitable Guinness!

Stayed two nights, very central. Staff are so friendly. Our bedroom was very stylish and the Beds are so comfy. The hotel had lovely little touches to make you feel welcome. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, comfy beds. Having a tea kettle in the room was clutch. The bar on the ground floor was fun! Staff was super friendly. Location is prime.

Great stay in good location. The room was lovely and staff very efficient and friendly. One word of warning. Watch your drinks as staff are over zealous in clearing the tables, ours were lifted twice when we went for a smoke and out to dance. However, when I complained, they were replaced. Overall very good experience and will definitely stay there again.

Have never spent a full night out here as there has always been unknown reasons for the door men to ask us to leave. This is the 3rd time we have had an encounter with them. Although we thoroughly enjoy coming here from Bangor on a Sunday esp because of live music and great drink promotions. I have stayed overnight before, rooms were great and food was amazing but I was just about allowed back in after I went to get food at the end of the night. Have also been here a few Christmas' for dinner, again, great food but after Sunday past I'm afraid I will not be back.

I absolutely love this place the drinks are cheap, the cocktails are lovely, the music is great. The customer's are down to earth and everyone has a great time. I have been in following from the day time in very much casual wear (converse, jeans and shirt) nobody looks down on you, everyone has fun nobody cares. It is known for a few fights but they have by far the best security I have seen in Belfast they have things under control before it starts or seconds after. This is my favorite place. Literally everybody, every race is very welcome. There can be queues on Saturdays due to food and drinks promotions : (lol.

Can only speak of the quality of the food here as I have not stayed over. Food and service have been consistent and flawless over the past decade or so. Bar is well stocked and there is an extensive cocktail menu. Particularly impressive at Christmas where their lunch and dinners are second to none.

Went for the Beat the Clock dinner deal and it was fantastic. Great portion sizes and food quality. They also had a fab cocktail deal at £3.50 each from 4 to 10pm daily. Staff were friendly and courteous. Will definitely be back!

Attended the restaurant for dinner with my partner without a reservation. Although the restaurant was very busy they were able accommodate us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the peppered pork which was very enjoyable. We then stayed in the bar for drinks. Again the bar was very busy however there was plenty of staff behind the bar so service was speedy. I would recommend giving some the cocktails a try. There is an offer on before 10.30 for cocktails. Nice spot with friendly & helpful staff.

Best Sunday lunch in Belfast! Very reasonable but you need to book if you're going to the restaurant. Otherwise just go to the bar for an excellent carvery both at very competitive prices. Food and service always amazing.

Was there for a Christmas lunch. Was a set menu, 3 courses for £20. There was 9 of us and we didn't have to preorder. We were seated promptly and the staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, everyone in the group enjoyed everything. At the end of the meal we weren't pressured to leave the table (it was Thursday) which was nice. Highly recommend this place for a meal at anytime of year but the Christmas set up was excellent.

I called on a Saturday to try the carvery with my family. We got four meals which consisted of soup, a dinner and a drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The price was £10 a head and was really nice. The staff was really pleasant and helpful. The carvery is on between 12pm and 4pm. I really recommend this place for a cheap but nce filling meal.

Good atmosphere for a night out. Very lively and reasonable prices.

Stayed here a couple of times on their champagne Sundays. Great Sunday carvery. Music to suit all tastes in the evenings from 18 to 80. Bar staff are quick so no long waits at the bar. Rooms are clean and tidy with coffee and tea making facilities. Great place going back soon.

What can I say but awesome staff were fantastic friendly helpful my friend has to use a stick for mobility and I was concerned about the way we would manage as you go collect your meal from a carvery and there were only the 2 of us no worries as I said fantastic staff. The food was excellent I enjoyed it so much. A few choices fish chicken gammon champ chips roasties veg Yorkshire puds to mention a few things I remember. I would definitely recommend here on my experience.

Stayed here for a wedding in July. Theres a club below so if you're staying there be prepared if you are hoping for a good night's sleep. Rooms are small but comfortable. Would stay here again due to prices.

Very pleasant staff, with great service. Slightly dated decor but very plush and comfortable. Small additions makes all the difference. No parking was a problem but NCP not far away.

Benedict's is set very close to the centre of Belfast, a few minutes walk away from the major bus/train stations. The bar and restaurant areas are fantastically furnished with a traditional appeal. All the staff are extremely friendly and the food is served very quickly. The value-for-money with food is definitely competitive, since the quality is unrivaled within the city. I'll definitely be coming back here.

Excellent venue for a night out. Have also had the Saturday carvery which is excellent value for money, however I think they should introduce more bar staff or some sort of rounds service for reserved areas in big numbers. We were at times waiting 35 to 40 minutes to be served a drink at the bar whilst being pushed by the customers behind. Pleasant and attentive staff but way too many people let in for the bar staff to handle. If the staff who loitered around collecting your glass as soon as your finished served drinks to bigger groups it would take the pressure off the bar staff.

2nd visit to Benedict's today and I have to say that it has been every bit as good as 1st time. Staff are all extremely pleasant and friendly and very attentive… food is delicious and I would have no hesitation in recommending this place for a nice relaxing afternoon/evening. And to top it all off… a 2 course carvery lunch for £6.95! Check it out for yourselves when in Belfast as it's well worth the visit.

Have stayed in 2 other hotels in Belfast. Benedict's is by far my favourite place to stay. It's friendly and welcoming. The entertainment is spot on. It's everything you could want from a hotel. Hope to stay here very soon.

Very few hotels enjoy near perfection. This is one of them. I stayed for five days so the "true" hotel personality really came out. Every staff member, ie front desk, restaurant and bar, housekeeping, was so nice, so friendly, so helpful it was amazing. The restaurant food was terrific. The beds we're some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The location is very central and close to everything. The whole experience was simply a joy.

Went here for food. The service was excellent! We were able to get a deal we didn't know existed but was informed during booking. They managed to accommodate us despite the short notice. Good atmosphere. Convenient if planning to hop onto other places. Would return again.

Nice Bar, but crowded! The music is very loud and not Irish at all!

Comfortable hotel and close to downtown Belfast. The pub is very nice and the rooms rather comfortable. In the vicinity of the elevator, you may be disturbed by the noise. Warm and really nice welcome. No parking but a discount for close parking closed at night. We recommend!

Fantastic meal very good service the staff fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Food wise I cant fault it. Its gorgeous but I was very disappointed tonight when I received my bill and found that the beat the clock is not really a beat the clock. Most people when they order a main get a side with it as part of the price. However tonight I was surprised to see separate pricing within the bill. I did not realise that I was paying for my sides separately until then and so the beat isnt as good as you would think. In fact its almost the same price as paying for it without the so called offer. I know in your other establishment where I live the main comes with a side and so therefore I expected the same today. Its feels like a complete sham actually. Normally you only pay for sides if they are extra…

Stayed at the hotel 5th Aug for the weekend, fantastic lively place. Rooms very comfortable and stylish. Staff so friendly and the food was great value for money. The bar area was brilliant with live music and a dj, my husband and I can't wait to visit again.

Real scummy/chavy crowd goes here. It's a cattle market, but if your looking an easy one stand, its the place to be! Not enough bar staff on on a Friday night as i've personally witnessed customers waiting 25mins to get served. Best to get a seat in the back corner, out of the way so you can watch all the fights that take place, from a safe distance!

Was having a great nite here with the girls on Friday up until, at around 12 when they're photographer starting taking our Photos, he was very touchy feely to the point where we had to tell him to clear off. He was like an annoying wasp and would not go away. He took a fancy to Angela and gave her his business card and told us, he does nude portraits. Enought was enough, we finished are Drinks and left! Beware a creepy photographer lurks in there by the name of Darren Best!

The room we got had one window onto a roof area with buildings all around. As a result there was little light. The finish was poor, more or less everything in need of an overhaul. The sheets were good quality and the bed comfortable. The included breakfast was mediocre at best and we skipped it on the second day in favor of a local place. The immediate area was rundown but well located in easy walking distance to either the relatively quiet dt or the more happening South part of town around Queens college. Parking for the hotel is in a public parking space about 5 mins walk from the hotel.

We visited Benedict's for some late night drinks. Great atmosphere and loved the décor. DJ was also great. However they could probably be a bit stricter on who they let in (rough crowd) and they need to clean the floor more, it was like walking on glue it was do sticky.

Excellent hotel, genuinely friendly and helpful staff, top value for money. Lovely rooms, perfect position.

We went for dinner on a Saturday night, there was a group of 10 of us, and the staff where very attentive all evening. The food had a good choice and was all well presented, and by the end of the night all plates where clean! Would highly recommend for food.

Someone started a fight. UDA doormen sorted it quickly. Only 4 stars because they weren't UVF men.

Benedict's is situated just on the edge of the main city and in the middle of Belfast's bars. The atmosphere is friendly whether you're there to watch football, have a drink or enjoy some food (which is reasonably priced and tasty). That said it does attract an older crowd, mid 30's and older. Due to it happy hours on cocktails it does tend to be a place to meet before heading out for the night.

Food was good, Sunday 4 course meal is good value!

Fab service from employees with such a big group of us, our private function room was lovely but maybe a little too small! Food and drinks all arrived promptly and any requests were dealt with very efficiently.

Got ripped off with my drinks as in gave the guy a 20 pound note and received no change I asked the guy where my change was and he went to the manager. When he came back he said to give my phone number. The manager never bothered to even speak to us. Left phone number for them to contact us the following day but no call received as yet. Drinks that should have cost £7 actually cost me £20. Will not be going back there ever again.

Lovely place to visit, food is excellent and staff are friendly. Great atmosphere on a Saturday night as well as a Sunday would definitely recommend this place if your visiting Belfast or if your a local 5

We go to the Sunday carvery when in Belfast it's the best place to eat by far food is fantastic staff very helpful and friendly I couldn't rate it any higher.

Been going bendicks for few years now and staff really nice also food really good would not go anywhere else me my friends.
