Hosts James and Angela have thought of everything. Their suites are spacious and very comfortable — luxurious bathrobes, enormous fluffy white towels, comfy warm beds, delicious breakfasts and generous snacks provided. Parkhead House is in a beautiful location, with a variety of walks on the doorstep, so there’s plenty to do, or do as little as you like, and relax around the house. I’ve been coming to Parkhead since 2017 and it’s my Scottish home away from home. If you’re an Outlander fan you won’t be disappointed.

I had the most amazing weekend with an overseas friend. The accommodation is gorgeous, comfortable and with every tiny detail looked after. The hosts are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and the tour that James took us on was spectacular. I could not recommend it highly enough.

An absolute favorite. This is the beautiful little place you come to as a stranger and leave as a friend.

We only booked one night to meet up with friends locally but really disappointed we hadn’t booked for more! What a great place to stop over: spacious rooms with private space for relaxation; wonderful breakfast and facilities; and so much to do nearby. We hope to come back!

Beautiful house in a perfect location, lots to explore on foot and nearby with transport. Ideal place to unwind and James and Angela want to do everything to make it perfect for you, just ask! We can’t wait to get back for a full on outlander experience 😊 — with Chrispy Woodle.

Simply great hosts, very nicely furnished, phenomenal breakfast, our dogs were also welcome ❤️ — unfortunately we were much too short there (2 nights)

We had a fantastic — all too short — stay with the lovely James and Angela. What lovely peeps — nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure we had all of the Outlander info we needed. And the breakfast — wow! All in all a great find. Superb location even if you’re not an Outlander fan. Beautiful rooms with everything you could possibly want. James and Angela are great hosts. Very informative and easy to chat to. Haven’t had breakfast yet but can’t wait.

We just finished a short, but wonderful stay at Parkhead house. The breakfast and rooms were wonderful and James is an amazing host. The location is also perfect for walking and exploring the hopetoun area. Can't wait to go back!

The best B+B in Scotland! I would recommend Parkhead House to my friends and family with no hesitation. Comfy beds, lovely towels, great breakfast and two of the kindest and most generous hosts I have ever encountered. Perfect!

Absolutely loved this B&B. Best place we stayed all week while in Scotland. Angela and James are so welcoming and warm. Make you comfortable instantly. Great senses of humor and went out of their way for us also provided us with info on traveling and touring. New friends in a beautiful old country. Highly recommend to every one.

Angela & James at Parkhead House were wonderful. Parkhead House itself was amazing. Wonderfully clean & tidy, great amenities and plenty of local information available. Breakfast was amazing, even tried haggis for the first time (thanks James). Cannot recommend Parkhead House highly enough. Perfect for those who want explore the Outlander sites close by. Amazing stay at the most perfect B&B.

Great guest house, not a lot of rooms, hospitality second to none. Can be cold overnight, make sure you put the electric heater on supplied If temperatures are set to drop.

Truly a lovely b&b and the owner James ensured that we had the perfect stay on both of our nights by making us feel so welcome. We stayed here before our holiday to New York and after.
As this b&b is so close to Edinburgh airport it’s the perfect place to stay if you are jetting off or after a long journey.
The couple that run this beautiful building are what makes this place even more special. Keep up the great work.
