Ordered take away yesterday. Easy to order and ready on time. Delicious food, good portion sizes, catered for gluten free diet. Very pleased with service. Many thanks!

Had a takeaway tonight which was absolutely first class. Easy ordering, easy collection and huge portions. Will definitely be back. Well done to all the staff.

Been self isolated now for a few days. Sandy made me tea as a takeaway. Just what the doctor ordered. Thanks highly recommended.

Went on Sunday past (1st March) and was really disappointed. We were the only people in the dining area — tables were not pre-set for meals so not very inviting. The place was cold although they did have fan heaters on. One member of staff covering bar and dining room. We had to ask for menus, ask what the soup was, ask what the roast was — which she was unsure of and checked with the chef. The food was not piping hot and the chips were saturated in oil ☹

Fantastic lunch today. Cosy fire. And a delighted 5 year old with the bouncy castle. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful service! A great place to stay. My son and I stayed a week. Sandy opened doors in our genealogy search we would not had known were there. Love Kenmay people were wonderful.

Honestly don’t know where to start. We had our wedding here yesterday and I cannot praise the staff enough. They were nothing short of amazing. In the run up, Sandy was brilliant at putting my mind at ease and took over all the stressful planning jobs. The staff on the day were helpful and friendly, and did their absolute best to accommodate all my wants and needs. My little girl certainly loved them. The food was to die for, as all of my guests would agree. The venue itself was absolutely stunning and we had no issues getting many picturesque photos. Thanks to all the staff at Bennachie Lodge for making our big day absolutely perfect and totally stress free. Mr and Mrs Williams!

Was here yesterday 12/10/19 as a guest at wedding lovely location everything well organised staff were great. Lovely food price for drinks was very reasonable. Thanks to all staff for their great service.

Can’t recommend Bennachie Lodge highly enough, not only is it a fantastic hotel but it has a great restaurant that serves lovely lunches and dinners! We’ve used the hotel for a few years with our clients and Sandy and his team have always taken great care of them throughout the duration of their stay, many clients asking to come back to stay at hotel each year which is a true testament to their service and welcoming staff. We enjoy coming here for family meals quite regularly and it’s always nice to have such a warm welcome from Sandy and the team! If you haven’t been I’d highly recommend going to check them out and with a new menu coming out we’ll be back to try that! Looking forward to having our clients back with you for another busy 4 months ahead.

Lovely place to visit for food with the family or a wee drink. The kids have plenty to keep themselves amused. Great staff very welcoming.

Great family restaurant never felt rushed to leave and sandy Elric kept the kids amused good food.

Stopped in for a few pints on a sunny afternoon lovely staff also had some food nibbles chips cheese pizza sauce pepperoni was so fine will defo be back.

First visit today — what a find! Lovely welcome — great relaxed friendly atmosphere in dining room. Had an extremely nice Mothers Day High Tea. Food really nice & endless supplies of tea, coffee & toast! Followed up with delicious home bakes — pancakes, scones & cakes. All at an excellent price. All Mums got a present too! Looking forward to our next visit!

Great place for families in the fine weather, enjoyed a meal while the kids play outside. Great play equipment, big area for running and playing and even a bouncy castle was put up. Food was good and arrived quickly. Only one negative point — the male member of staff who served us that day could definitely use some customer service training — was rude and was displeased that we as a larger party had arrived without booking — even though it was not particularly busy, and we had said we were in no hurry! Not a great first impression to be made especially with family from overseas. But we did not let that ruin the experience — although would have been an easy 5 stars if it weren't for him!

Last minute decision to have a meal here tonight. No problem to the Front of House that a booking wasn't made early they still made room for us. Brilliant meal and service. Thanks again.

Excellent Food We had a meal in their restaurant. The chicken soup was probably the best ever, it was truly great taste and presentation. The fish and chips too were top notch. The service was friendly. Can honestly say it far exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend!.

Cracking cozy wee pub with a great outdoor bit for the bairns.

Just had my baby shower there and I can't recommend it highly enough! Beautiful Sandwiches, fresh home made scones and pancakes and so many cakes! The service was absolutely excellent! Highly recommend!

Stayed the night because we were attending a friends birthday party in the local area. The staff were very friendly and professional, we couldn’t have been made more welcome. The bar meal we had in the afternoon was excellent & so was the breakfast. Sleeping in a 4-poster bed was just the icing on the cake! We would definitely stay here again!

Good food, great service. The Mac and Cheese was one of the best I've ever had, and I know; "It's Mac and Cheese, how could it be bad", but it really was lovely.

The food was ok. Selection nothing special but decent standard and at the least the best in the village. Beer all mass produced stuff on draft which is a disappointment as with the beer garden it would be an ideal summer haunt. But why massively overpay for a bottle you can get in a shop. Good effort and a few tweaks would lift it considerably.

Nice dinner but very limited menu with no Sunday lunch. Crèche area right next to dining area makes for a very noisy lunch.

Attended an 80s Revival event which took advantage of good weather with BBQ and music outside, kids enjoyed the play area and the prices for food and drinks was reasonable.

A group of us came to Bennachie Lodge on Saturday for the Annual Neep Throwing championship! What a fab well organised professional fun event! Highly recommend this place, excellent facilities — cold beer, enjoyable music, BBQ was ace & staff helpful & friendly — they even ordered the sun to make an appearance! Thanks so much for a full afternoons entertainment enjoyed a by a wide age range.

Booked the private room off the dining room for a family function. Everything was perfect — from the first contact to the day. With regular emails between us and Sandy, we knew we had a well organised plan, what we hadn't expected was how exceptional the food would be; mini haggis balls in whisky sauce; devine, delicious main courses and an amazing rhubarb and ginger cheesecake; moussy texture, not too sweet, delectable balance of tart rhubarb and warm spicy ginger. Great service, friendly, good humoured and an excellent rendition of Happy Birthday with our cheesecake. There's space, easy parking, facilities for children… Nothing is missing.

Awesome staff and great support of other local businesses. Always go to any of the BBQ events :)

Had a family meal here tonight (6th nov). Food was absolutely beautiful and top class service. Lovely setting also. Couldn't recommend enough and will definitely return.

Having been here for a lovely lunch several times before I was really disappointed this weekend. One member of staff seemed to have a bit of an attitude with us on arrival as we asked her if we could get two highchairs. With a huff she came back with them, plonked them down and walked off. So we all sat down (2 adults, 2 kids) and waited. The waitress was standing drying glasses looking at us not saying a word and eventually asked if we'd like bar menus. Gave us the menus and walked off. No word of specials, if we wanted drinks etc. Hubby went up to the bar to place drink and food order and paid for it too. Had a bit of a wait for food which we didn't expect as there were only two other tables occupied. Wasn't worth the wait. My burger was ok but the share platter was pretty bland. We were never asked how our meal was and as we got up and left the waitress was chatting away to two customers sitting at the bar. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Very easy to find. The room was big and comfy and the staff very friendly, we would go back again for sure.

The food was wonderful but on arrival at the sink after having been to the toilet I was met with no handrier, no handtowels and then no toilet roll. I literally had to drip dry back at the dining table in front of my astonished family. I hope they get this embarrassing inconvenience sorted.

Have to give this place a top rating! Nice place nice food and wonderful helpful staff.

Met up with some old school friends here. The bar was really nice — open fire, leather seats and nice decor. We didn't have food, but would consider it.
