It is a great hotel. We will definitely visit again.

Friendly helpful staff, warm clean room, comfy bed and pillows, good hot large power shower. Fridge with milk juice and biscuits. Freebie basket of crisps biscuits and drinks. Very pleased and would highly recommend. Do not judge hotel from outside appearance. It’s lovely inside.

Had a fantastic night there, great function suite nice room comfy bed and a great breakfast what more can you ask for 10/10

Small rooms and noisy out the back empty binstill 2 o'clock and they don't tell the guests the kitchen closed and it only for bus tours and the place is dirty. You Gordon Ramsey in to sort the place out.

Wide selection of food and very tasty. Very helpful and friendly staff, highly recomended.

Parking is available at the hotel, according to the booking. This "parking" is a supermarket behind the hotel — here we have parked the car very reluctantly and did not consider it safe. The lady at the reception was very friendly, the room clean. Unfortunately, there was only one towel for two adults — according to a note in the room due to a technical defect. The Continental breakfast we were able to add and did was awful. Please leave your fingers off the coffee and the hot chocolate! Both tasted horrible! Unfortunately not a nice stay.

Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was great and the extra touches like the fridge and microwave made my life easier. Being disabled (not wheelchair bound) I was able to maneuver around the room and bathroom safely. Only downside was the shower could do with some tlc.

Family room a fantastic size, had little hidden surprises for kids in the cupboards so my two boys felt really special. Bathroom ok, bath very scratched and cracks in ceiling. When we arrived room wasn't quite ready so we were given complimentary drinks in the bar which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was ok, could have been better though. Juices were warm and no white bread.

A budget hotel, it ticks all the necessary boxes — clean, friendly staff, nice diningroom with good breakfast options, comfortable beds with nice room layout, including some suites with kitchen. Doesn't look as inviting as some hotels from the outside but don't be put off — what is inside counts most. Biggest downside is no dedicated hotel parking — have to use shop parking or parking in nearby residential area. Have been using hotel for over a year as convenient for visiting family, close to bus into Union Street. Plus for this hotel — welcome basket (contains the usual tea, coffee etc. But also biscuits, crisps and bottled water) and every room has a 'fridge containing milk, juice and chocolate!

Third stay here. Doesn't look good from the outside but everything else is great. Friendly staff and good food. Excellent room. Will definitely return.

Just leaving hotel after 2nd stay. While the prices might be cheap and cheerful the the service certainly isn’t. It’s first class and everyone that a part of the team go out of their way to make your stay fabulous. Can’t wait to come back in July, love the hotel and the team that work it. Plenty of choice for dinner and the breakfast can’t be faulted. Keep up the good work guys and see you soon. Cheers from me and Margaret.

Marvellous accommodation. Beds fantastic, as I have back problems I appreciate a great bed. Very well equipped rooms with complimentary tea coffee and water along with a selection of snacks inclusive of the room price. Fridge also in rooms. They have thought of everything in the bathroom shampoo, conditioner, face cloth, body lotion, bar of hand soap and shower cap. I have stayed there overnight a few times and never disappointed. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Basic. And not really walkable to better eating places other than pizza.

Decent enough bar and restaurant. You know what you'll get at a Best Western — good good at reasonable prices. I will be back.

The room was clean and pleasant although the bathroom was quite tatty. We only saw one member of staff at reception but she was pleasant and helpful. Car parking was no problem but seems to be in a public car park that is quite small. Not sure there would be enough space if the hotel was fully booked. Decent location and easy to get to. 45 mins walk into the town centre. We didn't eat or drink there so can't comment on that.

Comfortable clean just excellent service very friendly and attentive all the staff the hotel is in a good area it is comfortable to walk from there to the center and even it is up hill back is perfect we went to attend the celebrations of Hogmanay.

Stayed at this hotel a few times now, but my most recent stay was a complete let down. Hotel itself is set in a quiet residential area of Aberdeen, and from outside doesn’t look appealing. But inside this changes. Interior decor and style was expected for oil city accommodation. Rooms are spacious and clean, as are the communal areas. Where the hotel failed dramatically since my last stay was the food quality. Out goes the menu and picturesque meal at the crossroads conservatory and in comes the dry unappetising buffet. This may have attracted the local old buddies looking for the week stock up but for a hotel of this calibre I consider this totally unacceptable. (Even the staff agreed and was apologetic of the quality of food on display). Hotel schedule claims orders for food up to 8:45 but with a few loose chips in the trays at 8:30 suggested this wouldn’t be a wise decision. I’m actually still trying to figure out how room service can be fulfilled buffet style? Basically what used to be a nice hotel has now turned down a few stars. If your looking for a good sleep and buffet breakfast this is the place. If your staying a few nights and require dinners stay here at your peril.

Would give a 6* if possible. Staff are fantastic. Rooms are immaculate. Cleaning service everyday. A MASSIVE hand out to Colin who made a massive effort behind the scenes to help us. Great hotel all together.

Room was ok, bathroom not the best, food was terrible. Worse Sirloin steak ever and served in a pasta Bowl? Did complain was offered a replacement but I declined.

Good place to stay if you're in Aberdeen for a few days. Basically it's a no frills hotel with a comfortable bed with decent amenities.

Very friendly staff. Room clean and comfortable. Bathroom fully stocked with all essential item's needed. Nice selection coffee biscuit's water in room breakfast again great selection, definitely good value for money my second stay would certainly stay again.

The rooms are beautiful. The staff are very courteous. The food was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to everybody who wishes to stay in a hotel.

Stayed Friday to monday. Spotlessly clean, great size room fridge microwave/oven kettle and super hamper which had great snacks and plenty coffee and tea. Very friendly helpful staff from reception to housekeeping. Had breakfast (extra charge) on 3 mornings Saturday and Sunday staff were fabulous very polite friendly and helpful. Monday morning must be bit depressing as breakfast staff were quiet and couldn't get a smile or a "Good morning" in breakfast area. Would stay again and would recommend. As a visually impaired person I was very pleased with bright simple lay out and the consideration of reception staff. All in all fantastic weekend. Thank you.

By far THE BEST hotel that we've stayed at since we started our trip 8 days ago. Lovely receptionist, did our laundry for us, had a great selection of snacks. Was very clean. Mini fridge included. Quiet evening. Odd parking. Had wonderful service.

Good hotel with an ideal base for the hospital. The room rate was good and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meal either in the dining room or informally in the bar — same menu was very good. There is a basket in the room with water, crisps and biscuits as well as kitkats in the fridge — all free! Really impressive these days where you're lucky to get any water. One negative is the lack of plugs in the room! Sounds petty but when I need to charge a phone and want the kettle and the hairdryer …!

Had a Groupon voucher as never been before, definitely be back, food was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful, only negative — restaurant was a wee bit cold!

Good standard to hotel, even though the surrounding area was a little poorer. The restaurant was closed which therefore forced me to eat elsewhere and the breakfast was only a continental selection although this was communicated through myself a check in.

Location is great, staff very helpful, function room lovely.

Only thing missing was a safe. Lol. Even a small kitchen with microwave.

Room is clean. Bed sheets and corridors are a little dated. Room facilities are good. Breakfast is buffet style and not horrendously expensive (£8.95) but really not that good. More for business users than for pleasure.

We had our wedding reception at the hotel and wow Ian and his team went all out to make sure our day and evening was stress free. I don't have one thing I can moan about with this hotel and its staff. The food was brilliant catered to everyone's needs with no hesitation. The room we were given to stay over night was massive, the bed was great didn't want to leave it and breakfast was yummy with everything at hand. All in all I would and have (already) recommend the hotel to friends and family. Thank you so much everyone for making our day even more magical. Lots of love

We stayed here only one night but the room for 4 people was really big, clean and comfortable. Classic breakfast from best western.

I was very satisfied with my overnight stay — I found the accommodation well cared for, quiet and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful and the food delicious. The situation cannot be described as picturesque, but there is easy access to the city and a reliable bus service.

Its my favorite hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is perfect. Nice comfy beds.

Just got in room, got fridge, microwave and sink. Great! Then went to make a brew and the cups are dirty, yuk. Just coz I got a sink I have to clean them myself.
