Nice hotel and staff really friendly and helpful.

Can’t fault check in or the rooms which are clean and comfortable, however I never usually eat in the restaurants but was feeling a bit under the weather so booked a table at the In house restaurant, never again, the first three things on then menu we ordered weren’t available and the burger I had was greasy and unappealing and as for the fries least said the better,

Great value for money. Location suited me fine as It was near to the university. Great hot breakfast.

Hotel was good and comfortable. Evening meal was good with a set menu if you wanted. 2 courses for £15 or 3 for £20. Breakfast was chaos this morning. Not all the hot food was there. They ran out and were not taking notice when something ran out. No orange juice either. No sausages baked beans or eggs. In the lift a sign said it would be quiet between 7:30 and 8:45 at the weekend. How wrong they were. It was very busy.

Lovely friendly staff, quiet, clean, lovely breakfast but they don't have any malt whisky in the bar? It's in Scotland so was a bit surprised by that.

Convenient for the exhibition center. Nice the breakfast included. Unfortunately the air conditioning is not working properly.

Over all a good hotel is good in the winter months but summer is a nightmare. I stay here every month as my company use this hotel work the air conditioning in the building does not work which there aware of and all the windows are locked closed. I have ask staff when this will be sorted but they are sick of the question as they get it a lot and nothing gets done about it from there head office so I would personally only stay here in the winter months as you wont manage to sleep in the summer ones if u like it cool. advertised as air conditioned rooms the air-con is broken has been for months.

Really enjoyed my 2 day stay. Unexpected visit but it was relaxing. Staff. Food and room really good. One of the best HIE s that I've stayed at.
Really handy for N of Aberdeen business and only 15 minutes from the airport. They also have a shuttle bus. Would recommend it. Will stay again.

Friendly staff and good food. Overall a good experience, but let down by poor signage. Upon arrival, the signs tell you to turn right for the car park and reception. This takes you to the rear of the hotel which is shuttered up. Quite disconcerting. When you arrive turn left and either go up the ramp to the reception or down to the basement car park. The room was clean and tidy. The aircon didnt work correctly, but that wasn't a problem. There was a weird whistling noise that appeared to come from the cladding on the external walls around the windows in a very gentle breeze. If present overnight it could have been an issue. The bed was comfy, perhaps a little soft, but fine after a long drive. Bathroom facilities were good, with a generous and powerful shower. We would book again.

I stayed here for two nights on business. As I approached the entrance by car, there was a large sign directing me to the right, see my image. I followed this sign to a closed entrance of the hotel. They need to update the sign. Was welcomed with a smile at check in. Room was ok, plenty of space for one person, but the large stain in the chair was very off putting, I asked for this to be replaced the next day and it was replaced when I got back from work. Otherwise room was clean and bathroom clean room I parked in basement, and you could only take a lift to the basement. But lifts state it takes you to basement, but yet only did, terrible signage. Breakfast the usual from a holiday Inn but great staff.

Pros — restaurant food was amazing (bit pricey but very good). Staff really friendly, good to chat to, helpful and keen to resolve guest issues. Decor in Bar/Restaurant area really slick and simple, nice to relax in. Cons — A/C on level 1 kaput when I stayed BUT the staff were so helpful and apologetic about it, wasn't really an issue, got a plug heater for the early mornings and luckily the weather wasn't great so the room didn't roast in the day/early evening. Wouldn't stay up here unless you're in the area for a reason (ie the exhibition centre) as it's miles from town, but for a holiday inn express it was overall pretty damn good. Hats off.

Perfect location for the AECC, provides all the necessities for an overnight stay. Staff very helpfully, room was clean and comfy. Highly recommend booking a table early if you want food on a busy day, I. E gig days! Small selection at breakfast time but it's perfect to help get you on your way. All in all very pleased.

The staff were excellent. To be honest I have never seen a team work so well together. Accomodation was very clean especially for the price, food standard was good. If you need a place to stay near AECC, I would recommend.

Very nice clean comfy warm rooms, brilliant value. Decent breakfast as well but please stop over cooking your bacon and sausage! :)

Very convenient location for where I need to be for work. I turned up two hours early for check-in but they were still able to get me to my room. Breakfast is good, and the restaurant next door was nice.

The hotel was amazingly accommodating. I fractured my ankle just 2 days before arriving to the hotel and they moved me to an accessible room with no problems. They made sure I knew where all the lifts were and the easiest way for me to reach the AECC where I was attending that evening. The breakfast was also really nice and I would happily stay there next time I return to Aberdeen.

Recently stayed here for 2 nights for business rooms really clean and comfortable beds, breakfast was really good with good selection to choose from, hotel staff really friendly in particular Lauren who went out of her way to speak to not only myself but other people at the bar which is really nice I thought and asked how our day was a credit to the hotel. I stay at a lot of holiday inn express and given the size of the lobby/breakfast area could be doing with serving evening meals as not convenient to go to the holiday inn next door after a long working day.

Great and fantastic place. Very quiet. Not far away to center. Good breakfast. Very nice and clean room. Frendly staff. 100 percent I come back. Regards.

I was a guest with one of my work mates for 3 night. Very clean rooms and the food was fantastic. The holiday inn triple Decker sandwich is a must. A bit pricy but that's to be expected. Also the alcoholic drinks are a bit pricy but then again that's to be expected. It's also 100ft away from the bus stop that takes you directly into town who is only £4 for an all day ticket. All in all a good stay.

Lovely room and staff! But! We were never told that's there were no bar snacks as advertised in the brochure so we had no time to have a meal before the show! Also breakfast was a disaster! No bacon, no eggs stale croissants! 20 minutes till they were refilled!

Great location for anything in Aberdeen. There is a bus stop right outside that will tale you into town or you can walk along the beach and get there too. Rooms are comfy and there are blackout curtains for a good night sleep. Soft and firm pillows. Large TV, couch, kettle, hair dryer. I have stayed here several times and love it. The breakfast is always good. Cooked items, pastry's, cerial, yogurt, porridge pots, fruit juice, tea, coffee of several types and herbal tea. If you have forgotten toothpaste, they give you a toothbrush pack that contain toothpaste. There is also vending machines with fizzy drinks, chocolate and crisps, you need change for these and the front desk can help with this. Lots of free parking too.

Good location and not too far from beach, rooms and very clean and comfy. Breakfast however was something else, stayed two nights and both mornings we had to queue for ages for breakfast as people were toasting bread that needed put through toaster twice, there was only one tray of bacon, one of sausages, one scrambled egg and one pot of beans. For the amount of people using the breakfast area I think this should be increased. Trays of hot food were empty quite quickly and not being replenished quickly enough. Felt for the waiting staff as they seemed stressed. Think this could be a bit more organised. Also it was my daughters 10th birthday and we had bought a bottle of Shloer (champagne style bottle) for them, so we went to the bar and ordered our alcoholic drinks and were told we couldn't open this bottle in bar area as it wasn't purchased there. We were told we could open it in our room (doesn't has same appeal, but that's what we ended up having to do). Apart from this we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location are anything at the aecc. Quick and easy check in, friendly staff and a decent breakfast buffet in the morning.

Staff are lovely. Soft towels. Breakfast is a little limited as not a full scottish but it was a buffet so I can't really complain. Brilliant nights sleep, and black out curtains. Would recommend!

Get sent here regularly by my work and it's a decent place when working up in Aberdeen and meals in main restaurant are very good… I recommend the sirloin steak. Rooms are comfortable too and clean. Staff at reception are friendly and chatty.

Friendly, helpful staff. Bed comfortable, loads of pillows. Room clean and warm. Shower nicely and hot with plenty pressure. Great to jump into after a long day at work. Plenty towels. Nice breakfast buffet with good selection, even if bacon had obviously been under a warming light for too long. Would happily stay there again.

Very close to AECC, well maintained, good bar and comfy bed. Good for laying down your head after a concert or conference. Breakfast included in room rate, however I was in a rush and was worse for wear so didn't try it.

Good clean efficient hotel. Bed was a bit too soft for me. Bar is small and cluttered although doable. Breakfast offering excellent.
