Travelled from Birmingham to Glasgow, so after a 5 hour journey just wanted to drop our stuff and see the site. Had called the booking company regarding early arrival a week prior and room should be ready for us for 3 pm. We arrived at 2.00 codes let us into the building but not the room. Spoke to the agent responsible for booking to be advised that they needed to confirm room had been cleaned and if so okay to enter. Well we've been standing outside waiting for a call and password access to room. No cleaner iin site since we arrived. Yes I understand the policy of times entry but come on people. Ive got a massive suitcase and the last thing I want to be doing is Trudging it around Glasgow central. Some flexibility and compassion would be appreciated. So far not a good start.
