Staff couldn’t care less and their favourite words were my apology’s or I’m sorry about that but never do anything to fix it. Been a few times and had a shockingly bad experience every time. The place is stunning but the staffs customer service let’s the place down. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone. Would be better booking a b&b and would get better customer service! When you make a complaint staff insinuates your lying and make you feel so little. Your wasting your breath if you ever have an issue here as they will never fix it and don’t go by customers always right. The first time we stayed in the lighthouse on the 27th of September for two nights for a birthday during covid and entered the place with a bag lying in the middle of the floor with a banana and a half eaten sandwich and cigarettes all over the balcony. Not suitable considering we’re in the middle of a pandemic! Second time service again was shocking and staff couldn’t care less. On the last night a staff member nearly ran over me when I was out with my dog and mum on a walk. Complained about this as the staff member was looking on their phone and they again insinuated we were lying and I’m sorry about that. Not good enough when someone could have lost their life and my mum returned to the hotel being sick with shock and nerves of nearly seeing her daughter run over by a reckless and careless staff member. Not good enough! Exceptions to the women who looks like a supervisor in the dual of the sun eating area and the young male who served afternoon tea. The staff could learn a lot from these individuals.
