This is my 2nd visit and it was such a disappointment, The bar service was terrible. We had 4 drinks and we had to go the bar for each drink, to order them despite it not being busy and then we had to wait as there was no one serving. There was lipstick on the coffee cups in the morning. I counted at least 6 dirty tables that hadn’t been cleared and my breakfast was served with someone wearing white gloves that were stained. The door handles were falling of the toilet door and the Jacuzzi is not working. We were only told this after my husband purchased swim wear! Also it’s £2 for paracetamol. Definitely not the same 5star experience I had last year.

Trump Turnberry was amazing in every way. Friendly staff, spectacular views, comfortable room, and delicious food. We had a fantastic time there.

Such a beautiful place, for either a romantic getaway or even a family holiday. The staff are super friendly, as we found out on the first night when Gordon (the tall one) took us around and showed us the Ballroom (Stunning)! We slept in the lodges, which have been newly decorated, great if there’s a few family’s as you have a living room / kitchen upstairs … so you could do self catering. The food is excellent. I will definitely come back ❤️

Fantastic settings! Beautiful establishment love the hospitality of the staff. The well dressed porter and reception staff. I wanted to extend my golf voucher that I was notvable to use during the pandemic, not a problem. Zoltan extended the voucher beyond my expectations. I'll return soon.

Stayed here for a wedding recently, incredible venue, really attentive and polite staff. Beautiful hotel — worth the journey!

Just back from the junior golf academy with paddy and can’t remember the other guys name, my son loved every minute of it and they were great with the kids, was a great price and worth every penny he would love to do it again.

Spent the day in the Spa and then had afternoon tea. One of the best day's I've had. The massage was wonderful, the spa facilities were luxurious. The Afternoon tea was to die for. Would highly recommend it x.

Enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Turnberry in fabulous company. We stayed in the Royal Dornoch cottage which was pure luxury. The hotel amenities are fabulous & there are no words to describe the level of service provided by the wonderful staff. The Chefs Table was an absolute treat & highly recommended for a special occasion. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Exceptional friendly staff and attentiveness. Luxurious and highly comfortable throughout. Breath taking panoramic view of the coast and also venue itself. Food equiste, drink choice unlimited. Great spa and treatments. A gym that is fully equipped, modern and stylish. Commentary shuttle service around grounds. Superb running route. Lovely local villages nearby. Ample onsite free car parking just in front of main entrance. Dog friendly.

An outstanding venue, customer service that’s second to none, a beautifully scenic location and a little taste of the luxurious life that we all secretly crave and desire.

Such a beautiful resort & service is 1st Class. Thank you for upgrade for my son he loved his seaview room before he moves to states on Golf scholarship. Will definitely return the whole resort is beautiful. Only thing was maybe have more steak choice on menu in Dining Room. I really loved Whispering Angel bottle of Rose wine it was absolutely beautiful.

Me and my wife go a few times. Es a year fantastic venue love my golf so in my element staff very friendly and the guys in pro shop amazing always have a wonderfuull time hi to all from Graham Anne from millport thank you for your hospitality.

Staff couldn’t care less and their favourite words were my apology’s or I’m sorry about that but never do anything to fix it. Been a few times and had a shockingly bad experience every time. The place is stunning but the staffs customer service let’s the place down. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone. Would be better booking a b&b and would get better customer service! When you make a complaint staff insinuates your lying and make you feel so little. Your wasting your breath if you ever have an issue here as they will never fix it and don’t go by customers always right. The first time we stayed in the lighthouse on the 27th of September for two nights for a birthday during covid and entered the place with a bag lying in the middle of the floor with a banana and a half eaten sandwich and cigarettes all over the balcony. Not suitable considering we’re in the middle of a pandemic! Second time service again was shocking and staff couldn’t care less. On the last night a staff member nearly ran over me when I was out with my dog and mum on a walk. Complained about this as the staff member was looking on their phone and they again insinuated we were lying and I’m sorry about that. Not good enough when someone could have lost their life and my mum returned to the hotel being sick with shock and nerves of nearly seeing her daughter run over by a reckless and careless staff member. Not good enough!

Fantastic night here on Sunday for my birthday. Beautiful room, delicious a la carte menu and lovely wine! Staff very attentive, even the dogs are made a fuss of! This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back!

My fiancè had booked this as a surprise for my birthday and I cant thank the staff enough for making it so special. They had a personalised birthday card in our room along with a bottle of champagne! The room was perfect. The food is the most incredible food I've ever had — we both had fish dishes and could taste the freshness. Thank you to everyone there!

Went for Sunday brunch with family food was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Everywhere is spotless and looks fantastic. Views out to sea and golf course are excellent. We will be back again.

Service and staff all fantastic my mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and spa day with you's thank you it was perfect.

Stayed for 1 night with 7 other family members… as 3 of our rooms were not ready on arrival we were given a small plate of cakes and a free drink. 3 rooms looked lovely and clean. 4th room had a few cobwebs above bed and couple small bits of ripped wallpaper. Spa area and swimming pool were fab. We dined in Dual of the Sun. Food was lovely and all staff were very pleasant.

I had a spa day. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The massage was good and gave me some much needed muscle relaxation. But the food was not good at all. Chicken salad had processed chicken, not fresh. Honey cake was stale. Coffee bitter. Food not worth the asking price and I was compensated with a piece of carrot cake. Not good enough.

Wonderful stay. I was there on business and they put me up in one of their named suites. It was incredible. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. The food choices were numerous. Tons of different scotch selections at their bar. The hotel was beautiful and the grounds were amazing!

Trumps hotel is great and we really liked this place. Its a stunning venue decorated and modernised to a very high standard with beautiful views of the golf course, sea and Island. The spa is fabulous (but I did not get to try any treatments on this occasion) the golf is some of the best in the world and the restaurant 1906 serves great food with hearty portions. One of the very best features of this hotel however is the staff, who were all extremely pleasant and made all the guests feel extremely welcome! I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant and will definitely be returning!

This hotel is great. Apart from the Trump name. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Parked the car for us, then went to fetch some stuff we'd left in the car twice! Food was expensive but tasted great and we didn't want to leave. Spa is nice but a little basic and I thought the treatments were too costly. Location and views are amazing!

Did a two night, three round package. Ailsa Course is second to none! The restoration Trump has done leaves nothing wanting. Employees are dressed in a gorgeous blue tartan. Staff are very friendly and attentive to meeting any need. Our beds had hand carved mahogany headboards. A hand written letter, with treats, was waiting for us. Sat outside with a White Russian (nothing like Scottish Cream! ) at sunset to watch the evening bagpiper. Life doesn’t get any better than this! Package included breakfasts and a dinner, also. The food was absolutely phenomenal! Staff very efficient and friendly.

We had a drink, also toasty sandwich with goats cheese, hages, very nice. The service was great. Shame they did not wear kilts. The light house is all So very nice. They serve sandwiches to order. " Boy the views are great.

Amazing hotel and golf courses, especially Ailsa course. Incredible views and challenging round. The hotel is exceptional and service first class. Take time to walk the halls and enjoy the hotel history. Also the spa is worth a visit, maybe after a round. It was a great long weekend playing with friends. Highly recommended.

Really amazing experience. Felt so pampered! The views are lovely, you can take a walk along the beach. Rooms are very clean and decorated well. Equipped with a bath and shower, queen/king bed, TV, tea/coffee etc. The staff are all very professional and incredibly polite and helpful. There is gym facilities, pool, sauna room and golf courses. Ate at The Duel in the Sun restaurant and the food was great! Can't wait to go again.

Stayed 1 night. Positives were Staff are very pleasant, curtious and professional and couldn't do enough for you. Reception and main hotel are outstanding. Breakfast was one of the best we have had the pleasure of eating with fantastic views over the sea and golf course. After arrival we quickly checked in and ordered a taxi as we were running late for the races. Beds were very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep Our accomadation was in one of the villas. At first glance the room was lovely however in the 10 mins we waited on our taxi I noticed stains on the bedroom carpet bathroom floor and toilet seat and bath appeared to have dirty marks on them. Lamp in the bedroom was bashed, there was dust on the head boards and behind the curtains. Room was very much in need of a refurbishment and deep clean unfortunately we were unable to point this out and discuss with staff as we didn't arrive back at vila until 11pm at which point we only wanted to retire to bed.

Spa day visit — very enjoyable day, staff were very friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere and beautiful Espa treatments on offer. Disappointing spa lunch — food, service and overall eating experience in spa very poor — wouldn’t recommend eating in spa area.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. From the moment one is met by the kilted doorman the staff are the friendliest I have met. And I have been in many 5* hotels. The rooms that I was shown were superb with large ensuite bathroom, huge shower, marble walls and floors and underfloor heating. Food is really exquisite with flavours that I have never before experienced. There is a fully equipped spa and gym with a wonderful swimming pool. Its certainly an expensive hotel but worth every penny.

Booked in to one of the Villa's but had the opportunity to upgrade to the main hotel for a small surcharge and it was not a disappointment. Rooms are magnificent, quality is outstanding from toiletries upwards. Dined in the Dual in the Sun restaurant and food was superb as was breakfast in the morning. The hotel itself is magnificant. Golf course second no none and grounds are fabulous but even if you're not a golfer a stroll down to Gullaine sands is breath taking. Cannot wait to go back again.

Turnberry is worth 10 stars!. Cannot be beaten for location, staff, cleanliness and value for money. The renovations are superb and the bedrooms spacious. The shower was vast and so well appointed. The breakfast was so good with local quality produce. Staff are by far the best in any hotel that I have stayed. Thank you Trump Turnberry for a wonderful and magical stay. We will be back as soon as possible.

Had a overnight, room was excellent, suited all our needs. Bit disappointing there is no wheelchair access from room we were in to main hotel through tunnel and we had to go outside to access main hotel. Staff were excellent and made our stay really enjoyable.

I have a booking for this hotel for 1 night and two rounds of golf, this was a present from our friends for our anniversary, unfortunately my mother is dying and receiving end of life care, as I wite i'm not expecting her to be here tomorrow, when we called the company that the present was booked through they didn't think it would be a problem to rearrange unfortunately for my friends and thier hard earned money Trump Turberry don't give refunds or change dates recgardless of the circumstances, I have to say i'm appalled by this decision and feel for my friends who spent almost £400 … come on Turnberry you are surely more compasionate than this. Thank you to Turberry who have now repsonded very quickly to my review and I hope we can resolve the issue.

Remodel of hotel is fabulous. Course fees seem high and don’t vary as much as other courses based on the seasons. The modifications to the Ailsa course are spectacular, the front nine has some of the best golf holes in the world. Trump brand takes a little away from the nostalgia of the place but Trump brand has also made it the most exclusive hotel to stay in Scotland.

The Staff are so polite and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Bedroom was lovely although bed quite high. Bathroom was large with free standing bath. Evening meal was good but music was a bit lift like. Evenings are quiet. Not a lot to do. But very relaxing.

Just because this hotel is better than most around (Ayrshire is sparsely populated) doesn't mean it's a five star hotel. Four stars at best but it doesn't compare to real five star hotels like Intercontinental Hotels and dozens of others. There is a lot wrong about this place.

We booked an Anniversary weekend here after failing to make it out of Scotland due to the snow. Booked the dinner Bed & Breakfast package. We also brought our dog with us and she, the dog was very welcome here. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The food in both restaurant was fabulous as was the choice of breakfasts. It made up for not getting away on holiday. We are planning on coming back as soon as we can.

This place is amazing. Regardless of what you may think of the man who's name is above the door, he knows how to put a luxury resort together. Attention to detail is amazing, staff are fantastic and the food is incredible.

Lovely place to stay and have time off. Hotel is absolutely 5 star with great service. Place has lot to offer. Food in the restaurant is stunning. Love this place and I will be coming back whenever around.

Not for me. Given the plethora of wonderful courses in Scotland, why would I support the Trump brand? Rather spend my money elsewhere but each to their own.

Visit Turnberry! Wonderful experience! No restrictions — very welcoming. Half-way House at Lighthouse is a must, if you can walk half mile. Worth It!

I begrudgingly really liked this place. Begrudgingly because of course, trump, and his incessantly self absorbed habit of plastering his name everywhere. But the place was great. Staff were friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Great location and the way they catered for the kids was phenomenal. We stayed there because of SPG and in spite of Trump but it's a true five star experience I was pleased to have experienced. Recommended, but don't shout about it.

Amazing venue in an awesome location. Food was delicious with beautiful views over Ailsa Craig at sunset. Breakfast was unbeatable. Staff very friendly and rooms spacious and sumptuous. Alcohol expensive at the bar but a small price to pay for some decadence on the west coast of Scotland.

Great facility with 3 beautiful courses. Preferred Kintyre with some really stunning views. Great conditions. Would love to come back and play all three courses.

All in all what's offered is simply too low quality for this price category. Decor is tasteless, going on gaudy. This is just a mid-tier hotel with a bit of gold decor added on.

Lovely styled venue, great size and staff. I was at the venue for a wedding and was working for the full day this gave us a great time to use the hotel for many photo opertunities. The food was great but it was very expensive for what we were given. Small portions for a large price tag.

I went for lunch and was very impressed. Food was lovely and filling, the restaurant was clean and looked impressive — as did the views of the sea. The staff couldn't be any more helpful and friendly. Will be back.

Services were first class. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Afternoon tea + procecco very enjoyable selection of sandwiches and delicious cakes and scones just right. Would highly recommend.

Came to play the Robert The Bruce course. If you remember it from the Kintyre it's definitely worth revisiting. It's not quite as spectacular as the Championship Ailsa course but it's still got a lot to offer. The new holes up the hill are a great challenge. It's quite long though.

We stayed just for one night on a B&B basis. We should have been in a lodge but, as Gold Members, we were upgraded to deluxe ocean view hotel room. Oppulant is the best way to describe our room and all the dining rooms, bars and function rooms. What a memorable stay.

Anything with The Nazi defending Trumo should be avoided like the plague. Gaudy, tasteless and lacking in any design integrity. It's a shame that Scotland can't enforce a travel ban against this orange abomination building his penis extending empire here.

Fantastic trip, the redesigns of both courses are spot on! Our best courses played. The hotel and food was great and in such a laid back, relaxing atmosphere. I read some of the reviews of snobby etc. We had 4 guys and dressed like "sloppy Americans" and they were nothing but nice to us in every way. Great work.

Stayed here many times and left glowing reviews. First visit since the renovation. Garish fittings. Rude staff, gold fitting everywhere but only look warm water in the taps. Had to boil two kettles just to shave! More a wedding venue than a hotel. Massive two day party took over the hotel for two days while we were there. No five star hotel would allow such a thing. Will return after ownership changes.

The setting is spectacular. The golf courses are very good, of course, including Ling Robert the Bruce. Food was excellent at breakfast and dinner. Rooms were very nice.

Amazing view from the Grand Tea Lounge out across the Firth of Clyde towards Arran and Ailsa Craig. Although recently fully refurbished it still retains an old fashioned style elegance. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the new Grand Ballroom is stunning. Afternoon tea was exquisite…

A must play destination for any avid golfer. The experience was phenomenal from beginning to end, except for my jet lag hitting me hard on day 3 of our trip. The professionalism of the staff to the true experience of links golf with amazing vistas, all added to a great golf outing. Not to mention playing the course where Tom Watson almost pulled off an amazing win, but fell short against Stewart Cink. So test your skill and make this a bucket list destination, you won't be disappointed.
