Pleasant stay, good host, great breakfast!

My husband and I stayed hear on Easter Saturday my son booked it for us on arrival we were an hour too soon but we were greeted by a lovely man Duncan who said don't worry our room was ready the room was emaculate very big coffee tea fridge in the room two no minutes walk from the main town centre breakfast was lovely hot just what you need after a night on the town this place is a hidden jem first time for us but not the last love love love it.

The location is all right, metro is only a few minutes away. The rooms do not seem clean, the windows are old and badly isolated, one can always hear the cars outside and there are only four bathrooms for the entire house! We are a group of 32 people and the lack of bathrooms is really annoying. Would not recommend!

No answer at the door or the phone when we arrived. On a busy main road. Over-priced. Shared bathrooms only.

Fantastic b&b, been using for many years. Spacious, comfortable rooms (not en-suite), catering to work crews, armed forces and local tourists. Great breakfast.

A calm and a cozy place. Much near to the king's street to get your daily stuff.

Fantastic breakfast at a time suited to me. Simple buy clean rooms. Fridge, kettle, microwave etc. Duncan was a friendly chap, couldnt have asked for a better stay.

Nice to stay in, basic but that good at what it does.

My honest view of Athol house, is great. Owner goes the extra bit to help you. And make you feel at home, warm very friendly, nice rooms, good food. Very good knowledge of area, and very helpful, would recommend anyone looking to use them. Richard Payne.
