Hotel itself is nice. However, on arrival I was charged the balance twice which meant £500 worth of money had been taken from my bank. Staff were unhelpful and said it was out of their hands. Now I could have been someone in a position who had planned their money out for the weekend, this would have completely disrupted the weekend if this had been the case. Due to it being the weekend money still hasn’t gone back in to my account. Staff weren’t interested at all. Ate dinner in the beefeater in the bar area. Food was shocking. Dry. Cold. Inedible. Staffs solution was to add sauce. Staff both in the restaurant and on reception were unhelpful and not interested most of the time. We have stayed in a fair few premier inns across the country and this has to be the worst one that we as a family have experienced.

Very friendly staff, lovely meals, clean and tidy, very good taxi service which we used twice xx.

Staff were lovely, rooms basic but what you would expect from a premier inn. No phone in room which I found odd? Fire alarm when off one night but no way of contacting reception to see if it was false alarm or not. Cleanish and Covid procedures all adhered too. Carpets could probably do with a wash in the rooms. Only let down was the tissue paper walls and inconsiderate other guests. Listening to other peoples kids running up and down screaming and shouting from 5.30am is not my idea of a lovely relaxing lie in. The hotel is noisy, so if you want a good nights sleep you aren’t going to get it.

Absolutely rotten! Rooms at the frome hotel Somerset was thick with dust and cobwebs!
Sheets dirty, air conditioning units thick with dust, food on the carpets, spoke to reception and ask for it to be sorted to be told that the cleaning team will be sent.
No surprise that no one showed up!
Customer services have been useless and premier inn do not stand by their money back guarantee please avoid very low standard considering COVID!

We stayed for 1 night during covid 19 and the place was clean and covid safe, our family room for the 4 of us was a good size, we arrived on a very hot day, we had a fan placed in our room but air conditioning would of been nice. Beds were comfy and we all had a good night sleep. Easy check in and out.

Pleasant size family rooms. Kettle and towels provided. Shower / hair gel on wall. It wasnt majorly hot yesterday but the hotel room was ridiculous. Hotel did provide a fan but it was very hot with no fresh air.

My daughter and grandson were booked in with yourselves and Longleat. Her clutch went on the M5 whilst going there. She instantly phoned Premier Inn and Longleat to explain this. Both places were very helpful and my daughter was given another booking by Longleat. The Premier Inn however changed there mind and my daughter lost her money. Very poor customer relations.
She will now never use Premier Inn again and neither shall I, or my business.
One horrible person in this department has cost you business. Stupid really.

Nice staff, beefeater next door, advise to pre book if you want to eat in beefeater, nice food.

Having already paid for three families to stay, including my 5 and 3 year olds and my 1 year old nephew, we traveled 2 hours to be told our rooms had been released and that nothing could be done. We were turned away at 9pm. After much debate our options were to pay for rooms again or leave voluntarily before they call the police!

Good value, excellent location, clean, well equipped rooms and very good food.

Booked literally 1 hour before arrival. Got there and all was ready. Quick check in and receptionist really helpful. Clean room and comfy. Just off to eat at the Beefeater next door. Let you know later.

Stayed in room 3 and the floor was very noisy! So bad that when one of us went toilet during the night the creaking woke us up! Also crammed 4 of us in a small room and no way of getting out of the beds with climbing down to the ends! Was asked if we would like to book a table for breakfast but declined as did not know when the kids would wake up, because we did not book we were made to feel uncomfortable at breakfast and given 1h to eat! Never experienced this before at a …hotel. Mrs complained to reception but she was not very helpful! Stayed at a few premiere inns and this was by far the worst! So much for their good night sleep promise!

Nice hotel with friendly staff. My room was noisy with the window open as it was by the road. I dined in the bar area and my main course was presented to me within 2 minutes of my starter arriving so it was sent back. There were no knives and forks available and I had to wait in the queue at the bar to ask for some cutlery. The food was nice when I finally got to eat it.

Great location for longleat, large and light clean comfortable rooms, the adjoining beefeater was fantastic for food, choice and taste. The food was served hot every time by helpful polite staff, there is a meal deal one drink two courses and breakfast for a fantastic price. Booking a table is a must. Highly recommended stay.

Okay — so it's a premier inn — and you get what you pay for, but when you book a family room you don't think that means you are going to be almost on top of each other. The rooms were extremely warm, and yes we have been experiencing warm weather. But the strange thing was this room was warmer than the halls or even outside. A very busy hotel which I feel doesn't try as hard as it could due to it being very close to Longleat Safari Park.

First off I’d like to say that this was an adequate hotel. The downfalls are a combination of poor building design and a lack of air conditioning, especially during this heatwave that we’ve had. The hotel is clean, staff, that are not listening to music on their phones with headphones in, are very polite and attentive. The reason why I cannot give this hotel more than 3 stars is simply because of a lack of decent sleep on both nights, it was colder outside of our room, the corridors have a lack of air, you cannot open the window further than the security latch allows you, which is a fair point but still a stupid one and you best ask for a low room number unless you want to walk forever with your stuff through lengths and lengths of corridors. Go to this hotel during the winter and you’ll be more than happy.

As with all Premier Inns they are mostly on the outskirts of places. This is no different but as we only use it for a base when exploring the area it was good for us. As always the staff are friendly. Great pub/restaurant next door (Beefeater). Again, very friendly staff and good food. Only down side is that there’s no a/c in the rooms so was very hot although they did supply a fan.

Good. Quick check in, friendly staff and easy to park and navigate. On an industrial estate so very quiet. As with all hotels, heating seems to be on 24/7 even in June but all in all a good experience with no surprises.

Had to book a table for breakfast! Buffet was cramped, not designed well. Evening meal was good, but received a stingy amount of fries.

Stayed here for 2 nights with our almost 2 year old. Nice comfy room, even a single bed made up so room for us all. Breakfast was lovely and was free for our daughter. Had dinner in the restaurant too one night which was really nice and didn’t have too long to wait even though it was a bit busy. Staff all friendly and helpful. Stayed here before 4 years ago too and couldn’t fault it then either.

Lovely premier Inn, a great beef eater too. Only trouble I had was room gets very warm at night even with the window open although two fans provided. Staff very friendly and polite.

Actually very comfy and really good customer service. An affordable place to stay in Frome. I will always use this hotel when in Frome as it is clean and accessible.

Great location for Longleat. Hotel easy to find and has lots of parking. Hotel clean and tidy. Needs more bar staff and staff shouting across the breakfast area was a put off. Stayed two nights and for a budget hotel, it is worth it. Very popular.

Great food, lots of choice on the menu, didn't have to wait to be seated, quick to take orders, a little slow to bring the food but it was a busy Friday night so not surprising. Overall a great choice for a relaxed meal.

Fantastic place lovely staff and good food.

The food was to a good quality, although the service was a little lackluster, even though it was quiet and there seemed to be a lot of staff on the floor, and despite being sat between the main entrance and the POS system, nobody checked on us mid meal to ask if everything was ok, and we had to request the bill after having sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to attend to us after they had cleared our plates and we had finished our drinks.

Fair price, wouldn’t say it was good price though. Room is good but bed definitely isn’t a king like they say they are as I have one at home and it’s bigger than this, which I felt a little cramped with my wife. Didn’t have breakfast here as it’s expensive as hell. I would come here again as although it lacks in somethings, it was in the best place in the middle of all the places we went too.

I love staying at Premier Inns and obviously this one is no different. All the expected comforts and amenities with friendly staff and a great choice in foods for breakfast.

Everything seems brand new, very clean, big TV in room, comfy bed and most importantly great breakfast! Could not fault it. Perfect stay.

Lovely hotel with warm & friendly staff, that has a large free carpark adjacent as well as the Beefeater Restaurant. Great check in experience, nice large top floor room that was warm & very comfortable, unfortunately, the 1st night I stayed, people were so loud in the corridors & continuous banging of their doors, that I got no sleep or rest, but the 2nd night everything calmed down. The lady who checked me in (Andrea), kindly escorted me into their Restaurant for a meal on my 1st evening after booking a table for me, & then for breakfast the next morning, she is a true asset to Premier inn as I don't know what I would of done without her, I hate walking into places to eat alone, but she made me feel so much calmer, so thanks to her I got to eat!

Cheap, comfortable bed, clean room & Beefeater next door. Long walk to some rooms and don't be disappointed by the lack of any views.

Lovely friendly clean place to stay. Andrea receptionist extremely helpful always had a cheerful smile. The pub was excellent very clean the food was amazing. We would definitely come back. We recommend 100%

The hotel was good. Not the best Premier inn I have been to. The breakfast was awful. Had to queue for over half an hour then not enough there to put on plate had to wait 10 more minutes. Then long queues for tea or coffee. Not enough staff in all areas those who were working were struggling to cope.

Breakfast is good and available for a decent period. Beefeater staff brilliant. Room was ready with additional bed. Clean and with plenty of tea/coffee soap etc.

Friendly staff, lovely meal and breakfast. Comfortable stay. Only problem was the temperature of the rooms. Soooooo hot. No air conditioning. Even the fans blaring all night didn't cool the room down. Want even that hot outside. Inside temp 27*c. Would have given 5 stars if room was cooler or given the option to change the temp!

Having spent most of my adult working life staying in hotels for work I can honestly say that this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in! I have lived in Spain and Portugal for years and the heat has never bothered me before… Having said that I don't see why I had to put up with sleeping (or trying to) in a room that was 25 degrees all night! The window could only be opened half an inch and we had a very noisy fan to move round the hot air! Livestock is never treated like this and as we paid £107 for the and I say this loosely privilege I am not impressed, as for the good night guarantee! When I complained the morning I left I was told 'Ah you need to complain on the website' Not a 'OK well i'm sorry we will refund your money' There were other people that told me they couldn't sleep either… This hotel needs to sort itself out! I WON'T BE BACK.

We visited on Thursday morning during the school holidays just to have breakfast in the adjoining Beefeater restaurant. Only £8.99 for a full English, cooked buffet breakfast. But the real gem is that upto two children can eat for free! So the four of us (2 adults, 2 children) ate a huge and very tasty breakfast with drinks for only £17.98. To top it all off the staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was spotless. We will be going back.

A lovely new beefeater has come here and the digsn and menu make it well worth a visit. Staff are friendly and accommodating and even though we had to eat in the bar when they were very busy (even on a Tuesday night! ) The service was good and the food even better. Worth booking as a good place to go.

Good service although I had to ask for a second towel as only one was provided. There was no air conditioning so we had to sleep with the fan on all night. Carpet has seen better days too but comfortable bed and pillows as promised.

Good friendly staff. Very busy we ate in the bar. Which was ok. I had chicken and ribs very nice and my wife steak and salad. Would highly recommend. But you may want to book.

The welcome when we arrived was fantastic and the receptive staff where very chatty and friendly and the whole check in process was very quick and easy. Our room was clean and fairly spacious and had everything you need for an overnight stay. We were going to the safari park and this hotel is situated in an excellent position as it's only about 10 minutes away. Unfortunately the thing that really let's this down is the restaurant. The staff in here are really friendly and helpful but it takes forever for your food to arrive and both nights we ate here the food orders came out wrong and with stuff missing. The food also doesn't taste as great as you'd expect so this is a real let down on an otherwise nice hotel.

Usual Premier Inn, however, remember to book your breakfast table the night before as it can get busy, great of Longleat.

Good location for Bath if you have a car, lovely spacious rooms for a budget hotel, clean and the pub next door was lovely, cheap meal deal for evening dinner and morning buffet breakfast (both of which were delicious! ) And the staff in the pub were super friendly. Will be going back!

Nice large family room with a proper single bed for the extra bed. However the attached restaurant let it down. You also have to book a table for breakfast.

Our room location Wi-Fi reception is totally terrible. Even my phone 4G could not get signal either. What a great location of room. By the way, get air-conditions instead of fans. It makes a lot of noise when u sleep.

Perfectly located for a stop over on our way to Devon with the kids. Very comfortable room and at a reasonable price. Evening meal was good and the big breakfast set us up nicely for the day ahead. The staff were all friendly particularly the waitress's who were great with the kids.

I and two colleagues stayed for one night and were not at all impressed. First the door cards were mixed up so we could not get into our rooms until we had sorted that out. The rooms were stuffy, but the windows could not be opened more than 25 mm because of a restricter on the frame, there was a fan in the room but I could not sleep with that going all night. The main meal was ok, nothing special, but when we went to order sweet most of it was not available, so one of us did not have any thing, two of us orderd apple pie but got apple crumble instead. We noticed that other tables were having trouble as well, all we could hear was the poor staff apologising. After a restless night breakfast, porridge ok, coffee horrible, eggs over or under cooked, bacon dry and hard. The price, on the internet "rooms from £29" where? the prices change daily we were charged £103 ex food. We spoke to some other people who stay for four nights in the same room and were charged a different price each night. We queried this and was told this is standard practice. We stayed the rest of the week in a hotel in Frome at half the price and a far better service. Needless to say I will never stay at a Premier again! PS The toilet paper were individual squares try wiping your bum on those.

The hotel was good no problem at all. Which cannot be said for the pub next door (table table). The service was very slow, when we where served we was told they had run out of chicken and rice, that was the one thing my children wanted. When our meal did arrive it was overcooked and not very tasty. In the morning we where told they had run out of hash browns, mushrooms. When we went to get our meal 50% of the plates were dirty, when I say dirty not even washed up at least 10 of them had egg still on them, this was not only noted by me but other customers. So to sum up stop at the hotel but do not eat in the pub next door (Table Table).

This was just what we needed after a long drive down from Luton. The restaurant was lovely with some very friendly and attentive staff on hand to take our order. Our family room was just what I expect from Premier Inn and we all had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and again staff couldn't do enough for us. I wouldn't hesitate in going back again.
