We stayed here for almost 5 months whilst working in the area, during this time we never once were made feel welcome. Personally if I was planning a holiday this would be very well down my list on places to choose. The manager, Bernadette was very hostile and unconsiderate towards us on our visit despite the high prices we wer paying each week. We paid a deposit of which we were told had to be used for cleaning (something I assumed they should do vefore each new stay anyhow), missing cuttlery which there was never much of anyway. The houses are beautiful but the attitude of the staff is very belittling, and just seem to have a massive attitude problem, especially the manager who we dealt with. By all means the area and the cottage itself is superb, but brought down severly by they way our host. Place could do so much better under new managnent, maybe then all the houses would fill up rather than being like a ghost town.

We stayed here in 2012 for my son's wedding held at Clavelshay, North Petherton. Very comfortable for our large party.

A home from home, the accommodation was excellent, everything we needed for a self catering two week stay was available. The accommodation was spotless. Situated close to the M5 so easy to get to all tourist spots. Wi-Fi worked well and we were able to FaceTime friends in the US with no connection issues. We had a warm welcome from Bernadette, the Manager, she is a lovely lady who was always willing to advise or just have a chat. I saw some huge carp in the lake, never caught any but had enough Rudd and Perch to keep me and my son happy on two fishing days. We will definitely return, what a great holiday!

Absolutely fastastic accommodation and easy to get to various places. Unfortunately the fishing is not good. We have had a great weekend.

Very nice property but the place wasn't that clean dust build up was really bad. The shower drain was blocked so it was like having a shower and bath in one. Location was ok as central for what we wanted.

1st visit for us but will most definitely come again. Relaxing beautiful location. Boys love the fishing lake and the cottage is a perfect modern family cottage. Staff friendly… no can't find anything bad about it.

Nice little housing estate with a playground, lake and shared garden. Houses are well built and the furniture and appiances are quite a high standard. They have all the things you could want like ironing biars and airer but not dishwasher. Forr some reason they have tiny old TV's and DVD players and the curtains and blinds are quite cheap. As long as you don't mind being woken up early by the sun and aren't bothered about watching TV on holiday (who is) then it's a very small concern. Also, the Wi-Fi signal isn't great as it shared between several houses and the mobile signal isn't great. There is a pretty good pub about a 5 minute walk away. Overall though it's a pretty nice place.

We are here for a week of chilling and fishing only day 3 and hubby has had 15 fish already carb and bream. The cottage is first class and all mod cons we will definitely book again can not fault it so far been a great break.

We have stayed her for 3 years in a row and it has to be the most relaxing place to just unwind and chill. The fishing isn't bad either and the lake is just beautiful. The cottages are immaculate and the staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend for a very chilled out holiday.
