Greeted with a lovely welcome, host even stood in a parking space whilst I fetched my car from the car park (only 200 yards away). Was shown to my clean but very small double room. Ample supplies of tea, coffee, bottled water, free Wi-Fi too. Negatives were the sink was too small to fill the kettle and I had to use a cup to fill it from the sing, the little en suite was so small that the toilet is in the way when using the sink and was in the back of my legs, the shower tray wasn't draining quickly enough and within 3 mins or so I had to stop showering to prevent it overflowing, it then took around 15 mins to clear. The TV screen was smaller than my pc monitor and positioned up very high making it pretty poor viewing. The room was so small that it really struggled to cope with a double bed and the furniture within. However positives were that the bedding was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and a very soft bed that swallowed you up for a great nights sleep. No noise issues to mention. Breakfast was excellent with really great friendly service, A good wholesome full English with some of the best bacon I have ever eaten in my life, real sausages and all the trimmings. I can not fault the staff or host in any way at all as they were utterly charming, welcoming, chatty and friendly but the points I have mentioned did detract from my stay. Would I use it again? Definitely but for the price would certainly want a different room.
