A good budget hotel, close to hamilton square underground. There are a limited number of staff to help. And if it gets busy then sometimes requests get forgotten, but, the staff that are available to help are always cheerful and friendly. The restaurant is disabled friendly as is the reception. There doesn't seem to be a disabled toilet on the ground floor though there are facilities for able bodied. As is usual with the premier Inn there are quite a few doors to navigate some are quite heavy for a disabled person in a wheelchair and manoeuvring can be an issue in places. The lifts are an adequate size. The accessable room is on the first floor and has a wet room. The bed is quite low and surfaces are of a useful height. The restaurant has a good selection of meals and drinks which are tasty, though the food took a while to arrive even at quiet times. Breakfast is buffet style, and hot food is only just hot. Overall a good experience if the staff hadn't forgot my request twice they would have five stars.

Friendly and welcoming nothing is to much to ask for breakfast is fantastic.

Second visit to a Premier inn in two weeks and what a difference. The staff were courteous and polite and so genuinely friendly that if was a real pleasure to visit. The housekeeping was a real eye opener with the room tidied and bed made whilst we were out — a welcome real difference to Leicester square. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented the only shortcomings being customers who were complete pigs in more ways than one (behaviour and greed), but the staff were restrained and polite — I wouldn't have been so patient. The evening meal menu was limited but more than adequate and very flavourful despite the chef having to leave urgently as his partner was giving birth and the manager filling on the breach! Do visit, its worth it.

Average hotel. Restaurant seems to be fully booked with only 4 tables being occupied. Have stayed at much nicer premier inn's. The plus side, you do get parking onsite which is a bonus.

Quiet considering how close it is to the road, but very complicated to get to because of the one way system, and the windows don't open so it got quite stuffy. Nice and clean, and the staff were nice though.

Staff are lovely which makes a big impact on rating. Rooms are ok although towels were thread bare. Comfy enough bed but made noise whenever I turned over. Restaurant opens for breakfast then closed until 6pm. Limited options here.

The staff make this place. So friendly! Fiod excellent. Great location for the train into Liverpool. Would book again without hesitation.

Bang in the middle of Birkenhead, easy access. The staff were very accommodating & the room was pucker. To date, still never had a bad experience with a Premier Inn.

Stayed in room 409 big damp marks on ceiling… bed creaked everytime you turned over suppose to be comfy beds. Not enough tea. Coffee in room. Overpriced drinks… area seems not safe to walk out… good points close to ferry train station local shopping area… food very good. Came down earlier to mention damp ceiling in room creaky bed couldn't find member staff gave up in end by time we returned day was nearly over we just put up with it noto happy as it's first time we stayed premier inn… spoke to staff manager this morn given apology say there's a problem with roof on 4th floor which is getting sorted complimentary breakfast given free breakfast staff very helpful and polite compliments to chef nice and welcoming better atmosphere this morn than last nite staff last nite spent too much time in back room.

As usual a good friendly service and really helpful staff. Although room was clean generally, there was a huge stain on the ceiling where someone had splashed drink and the towel rail was hanging off the wall in the bathroom. Having mentioned this to the staff though, they were not aware of it but glad I told them. Hopefully it will be dealt with before anyone else has the experience of seeing that.

Decent hotel and friendly staff, but the restaurant was difficult to get a table. Once they had more than 3 customer's sitting down they wouldn't let any more in, despite the restaurant being 90% empty. This seemed a bit over the top and there was no explanation, other than 'sorry, we are currently full'

AC/Heating was a little noisy but the room was nice and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good breakfast too! Left a great impression of Liverpool, and we'd definitely stay again.

Great price and quality bedrooms. Breakfast was brilliant as well. Only problem is access — don't follow Google maps — it will take you to mersey tunnel!

Quality of hotel perfect for a short stay. It was a very nice hotel. Less than ten minutes by bus from Liverpool city centre (bus stop is a three-minute walk). Convenient with taxi but tunnel fee to cover (3. £40). Adequate Alternative and cheaper than downtown Liverpool.

We had a fantastic nights sleep… very comfortable, clean and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent too, we will be back!

The hotel is clean and it's location is great for Birkenhead or a commute to Liverpool (hotel is next to the birkenhead tunnel). The staff are excellent, the restaurant serves fab food. Parking is available and free. The rooms are spacious and do the job. As a tip, if you fancy eating dinner, buy the meal deal at £24.99. It includes two courses, a drink and breakfast the following day.

Comfortable bed, clean room. Clean towels. Delicious breakfast with a nice selection. Will stay again.

Typical Premier Inn. You know what your getting. Good parking. Great public transport links and for £5.20 you can fill your boots on metro, bus, and ferry. Also very quiet. Recommended.

Couldn't fault it comfy beds nice hot shower and nice food. Staff all very helpful and guesy parking. Id defo stay again.

Not the best location but once inside a pleasant room with large t v and new decor. The steak in the restuarant was superb.

Clean, comfortable environment with desk to work during evening of business trip. Staff friendly and food is a good standard. Slept well and heard no traffic noise. Would stay again if working in the area again.

Great location near to public transport with car parking. Room good size, clean and decent size TV. Good food to. Friendly and helpful staff. Only gripe is that free Wi-Fi is probably the slowest free Wi-Fi I've encountered, not even 1mbps.

Well located. Nice rooms with modern, large tv. Secure, free parking but limited spaces. Restaurant was nice, a good selection of lagers and ales. I had a rump steak that I asked for rare and it was cooked exactly as I wanted it.

Absolutely brilliant staff couldn't do more for you! If I'm up that way again I'd stay here, only thing is windows don't open and aircon not the best.

Friendly staff. Nice room and good location with car parking. Would have given it 5 stars but haven't finished my stay yet, but so far it is excellent.
