Married here on Saturday 18th June 2022. Amazing venue and staff. The food for our wedding breakfast and evening buffet was fantastic and the service spot in. In house DJ did a great job of getting the dance floor filled with some great music. Our wedding day here was just perfect. Thankyou Dower House it was amazing.

I had my wedding at the dower house, and it was the most perfect day. The venue is amazing, everything from the great rooms to fantastic food. The stand out part for me though was the team at the Dower, they really look after you and I can't rate them or the service enough. They go above and beyond.

As beautiful a wedding venue as it is, it is the staff that really stand out. All of the staff were nothing but helpful and pleasant both before and during our wedding. 😊

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean and well equipped. Food in hotel good value and very tasty. If I had to make one criticism it would be there is not a tall mirror in the room. Hotel is well situated near shops and attractions.

The rooms are excellent and the hotel and staff are first class.

Fabulous time staying here for the first time. Everything was absolutely top notch, the room, the food, the service — faultless ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honestly if you're visiting Woodhall Spa, this is the hotel to try! Especially if you're playing golf — this hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the driving range at Woodhall Spa, and it overlooks the 1st on the Bracken course ⛳ For dinner last night I had the beetroot and goats cheese salad which was absolutely delicious and super fresh. For the main, the pea and mint risotto hit the spot just right, and the pear and cherry crumble to finish was just delightful! 👌🏻 Huge shout out to the manager Liam who was so friendly and attentive. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel right at home. He really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable 😊

It was such a lovely wedding venue for our wedding on the 1st sept. They were so good with detail and we got to have a BBQ menu which we were so excited about and our guests loved the food! I would definitely recommend 😊

We go married here yesterday and honestly I couldn’t recommend it enough, the food the service the rooms were gorgeous nothing was too much for them.

We were married at the Dower House Hotel in August this year and the venue is just absolutely incredible. Anne has looked after us so well throughout the planning process and on the day the staff went out of their way to make it perfect for us. So many of our guests commented on how well organised the day went. Everything from the food, the DJ and the fireworks was just phenomenal and after a very busy day the rooms were fabulous too. This is definitely not the last time we will be visiting!

Lovely stay for my surprise 30th that my husband booked in for the night. Will highly recommend such lovely staff and place to stay if you like the quiet areas.

An amazing venue with such charm and elegance! The Dower House was the setting for our wedding and exceeded all our expectations. Anne is a absolute star! Me and my hubby had a night at the dower house. It is a beautiful hotel. The restaurant food was lovely. Everyone is so friendly there. We stayed over in the lodge in a suite. It was pure relaxation. The breakfast was very good aswell. We will definitely recommend this hotel xx.

Cannot recommend highly enough — I have visited The Dower House for various occasions including business meetings, afternoon-Tea, functions and even had my 30th Birthday here with private dining. The food is amazing, Staff are always willing to go above and beyond and all in a beautiful setting. Don't hesitate about visiting :)

Nice relaxing place. Great for coffee. In the summer sit out side or like now when it's cold sit beside the fire. The best ever biscuit with the coffee I've had.

Well located hotel with beatiful gardens and space to park the car. The room was nice with a comfotable bed, although a small fridge would have been useful. The weakest point was the breakfast, average considering the room price.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Every member of staff we met have been friendly and attentive. Check in process was quick & efficient. The hotel is very inviting with its open fire and comfortable seating areas. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Our suite room is tastefully decorated, bed very comfortable; luxury bathroom has a double walk in shower & separate deep bath. My husband and I both agree that the Dower House hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in & has the comfiest beds.

Afternoon Tea was a wonderful treat. Twenty two people in our party & the service & attentiveness were superb.

Fantastic food and service!

We stayed here recently (22nd September) for my fiancé’s birthday. Having chosen this venue for our wedding reception next year we already knew of the high standards and friendly service offered. We were not disappointed, the room was fantastic, extremely spacious and comfortable, the grounds are exceptionally maintained and all staff we encountered were friendly. We came home having had an amazing and extremely relaxing weekend. We will definitely be returning (and not just for our wedding).

Attended a social event here and stated as an overnight guest. The hotel is great, with lovely rooms. The event was well serviced and the food served was of excellent quality. I would happily recommend the Dower House to family and friends.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Rooms big and clean, lovely bathroom. Breakfast was good but the evening meals average. Wi-Fi can be very, very slow at times. Definitely happy to stay again though.

I have used this hotel to host a corporate event. The staff and service are excellent. The rooms and food are very good. I would use this hotel for a personal weekend away.

Having decided to see a film at the Kinema in the Woods at Woodhall Spa, we decided to have a night at the Dower House Hotel. We were given a very warm welcome and shown to our room which had a king size bed and was very spacious. The bathroom room was very well equipped with a walk in shower as well as a bath. We decided to have dinner which was most enjoyable. Our breakfast, that was included in the cost of the overnight stay, was also excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful and a credit to the Hotel. If the occasion arises, we will certain make a return visit.

We stayed here as part of a wedding party, and really enjoyed it. The food was lovely and the service very good. My one gripe is that a cooked breakfast had to be ordered by 9am, and continental breakfast ended at 9.30am — on a Sunday. I think this is far too early when you have had a long day and a late night on the Saturday, and would like a lie-in and relaxing Sunday morning.

I stayed here for a few weeks in August. The rooms in the annex are luxurious. Beautiful surroundings. Great food and warm hosts. Makes other hotels I've stayed at seem cold and overpriced.
