Had a lovely afternoon tea there today for my 60th birthday the food was delicious and the lady that served us was very nice absolutely fantastic day.

Very attentive staff, and lovely food at a great price. And it’s in a fantastic location on the waterfront for great walks around Lincoln. My room is superb also.

Lovely clean room, fantastic comfortable bed prefered a view over the brayford instead of the car park but can't have everything well happy.

Lovely friendly staff. They were putting Christmas decorations up whilst we were there, with a huge Christmas tree. It need a very tall person to decorate the top! Haha.

The hotel is nice staff are very friendly and it is in a good location. Rooms are a little dated though and no plug sockets beside the bed is a real pain when travelling so often. There is a sports bar and Starbucks attached and if the I house dining options don't suit there is loads of choice within minutes walk.

Lovely welcome when we arrived. Rooms very clean and lovely soft bath sheets. Accommodated a 12noon check in as at a wedding. Ample parking and great location. Would recommend.

Nice location, there are many bars/restaurants in the area. 20 min. Walk to the cathedral. Rooms are fine and clean. Breakfast is good too.

Beds comfy and breakfast staff and food lovely but this is second time I've been to a room in two weeks and the maintenance isn't great. No bulbs in lamps, or lamps don't work. Shower controller fell off wall, toilet keeps running. No plug sockets beside bed. No luxurious, no biscuits in room children's TV didn't work.

Good size room, with comfortable bed and adequate bathroom. Television a little lacking — offers digital channels and pay-per-view movies but not accessible. Reasonable level of room facilities. Reception staff helpful and efficient. I've stayed here many, many times and the difference in view between odd-numbered rooms (Brayford Wharf and Brayford Pool) and even-numbered rooms (the car park) is startling! Parking and breakfast included in my tariff otherwise £5 and £12 respectively, which is reasonable given the range and quality of breakfast items. Room service available which is met from the Sports Bar menu — OK, but a little too TGIF for my taste. Otherwise Sports Bar can be fun — live sport shown on multiple TV monitors.

Situated by the water and surrounded by several restaurants, you can relax well. The city centre is about 15 min on foot.
The parking lot is behind the hotel and you have to drive through a restricted traffic zone.

Directly at the Marina with Connection to the Pedestrian Zone and the Castle Hill of Lincoln always my first Choice because of Camera-monitored Parking.

Lisa and I had s fabulous stay at Lincoln Holiday Inn, we originally booked for 1 night, we had a quick walk around the Wharf and hurried back to book an extra night. The staff were all amazing. We were checked in by Charmaine, who was very smiley and extremely confident in her role, she told us a little about the city and recognised my IHG loyalty in a very professional yet friendly manner. We got to our room on the 3rd floor, wow, what a view over the Wharf, stunning! We h…ad a couple of drinks in the Sports bar and were warmly greeted by Theo and Louis, we were made to feel very welcome by the guys, who were very engaging and couldn't do enough for us!
We explored the City that evening and what a beautiful City it is, great bars with friendly people, some amazing buildings, lots of restaurants to choose from.
Breakfast next day, with a window seat looking over the Wharf, was hot and served with a smile from the breakfast team. Sue was particularly endearing and kept the coffee coming (Enjoy your retirement Sue x)
Dinner was absolutely fantastic! I had a long chat with Head Chef Hamish and Jamie his second in command. The food was impeccably cooked and presented, we were really spoiled by the quality. The service from Matt was executed with precision and great product knowledge.
It is a 10 out of 10 from myself and Lisa and we are already planning our next visit. Thank you everyone for an amzing weekend stay. Keep it up Paul.

We stayed overnight to attend a family get-together. No complaints at all. Clean room, well-stocked bar (expensive, though) and helpful staff.

We were upgraded free of charge giving us a marina view & complimentary toiletries which was greatly appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and room nicely appointed. Unfortunately there were no USB charging points and a nice touch would have been a true full length mirror & magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Marco Pierre Restaurant next door with a busy cocktail bar. Parking was arranged for us at reception and free of charge, would definitely stay again.

Great central location — 10mins from station on waterfront. Friendly professional staff. Lovely well equipped and clean rooms with good sized comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Great value for money. I've stayed here before and will do so again.

Whilst the rooms were great and the view was great we were disappointed with the fact that the staff tried charging us twice for parking and also did not charge us correctly for food. We paid on arrival for breakfasts and it turned out they charged us wrong so had to pay again. Then to top it off the heating in our room was broken and never fixed and the TV was also broken as in we couldn't turn subtitles off!

The hotel is fine for a short stay. English laws don't allow you to be able to completely open the the window. That is a shame as it stops you from having a really good view of the harbour (no fault of the hotel). Lots of good places to eat and drink within walking distance.

Fantastic view of the marina and all the yachts. Great situation for shops and places for dining out. I would highly recommend this place. Staff very friendly aswell. Room has kettle so could have a warm drink after waking before going for Breakfast which was very nice. I can't wait to visit again in summer.

If you have been to a holiday Inn before you will know what to expect. The place is looking a little worn around the edges but is clean and presentable. The staff are good when you can get to one as they are a little understaffed. Food wise again left a little to be desired but wasn't bad. All in all not a bad choice but could do with a bit of a overhaul.

Awesome reception on entry. Good warm room. Very comfy bed and very good shower. Well maintained room. Not enough sugar but that's just my sweet tooth. Lovely place well worth it.

Conference rooms were well equipped and staff were on hand to deal with queries.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, super breakfast and a comfortable stay. Just a little on the pricey side but guessing that's due to a special event in Lincoln.

The rooms in 3th and 4th floor smell of barbeque smoke. Bad air. A very bad service in the reception. The reception employee plays with the guest that any query is shifted to other employee of other shift. You will not get any help. Only trouble during your stay.
A laundry is not cleaned properly, but, you must accept it. No possible to return it for cleaning again. And, I got additional laundry cost allthough I don't send this laundry. Be carefull before you pay your bill, check the invoice carefully.
You can't raise a complaint to the management, since they will not response you.
A very boring breakfest. I can see unsatisfied employee here.
Again, I will not stay in this hotel if you're expect for a quality service.
I think, in emergency case, you can survive to stay in this hotel for one day :-) But, not for long term.

I just tried to booking this hotel, firstly, the man answered the phone and was chatting to someone else, completely ignoring the fact that he's just answered the phone to someone, then when I called back, I said 'I don't know what happened there'. He then said 'There has been an error, can you call back later and put the phone down! I am fuming! If this is the service on your first phone call, I don't want to know. Disgusting service, despite what the reviews say.
