Was over booked not very helpful at sorting it out.

Just back from this hotel can't fault it absolutely spotless staff and food great highly recommend thank you.

Stayed for 1 night due to work, service 1st class, everyone very friendly and polite, room very comfortable, clean with everything you need, would definitely stay again.

Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. My husband also left his Apple watch in the room and they posted it back to us which was good of them. Also, the beds are extremely comfy and the food is good. Have stayed here on a couple of occasions now and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here and loved how conveniently located the hotel is. Very clean all throughout. Staff were so friendly. Buffet breakfast just simply amazing. Thank you guys 😊

First stay in this particular holiday Inn and it’s a great. The rooms are very clean and well equipped but the bar and restaurant is briliant. Very well run and very attentive staff that make sure you have food and drink without delay or issue. Really pleased and will be back again soon.

Very friendly staff, comfortable room and very good location. But they needs to put small fridge in their rooms.

Brilliant stay here last week. Double room was spacious and spotless. Air con in the room worked fine. Bath was big and shower was powerful. The customer service from all staff was impeccable. Would like to say an extra thank you to Tess (breakfast area) she made us feel like we were on holiday with family and nothing was ever too much! Only downside of the stay was the limited spaces outside of the hotel, we ended up parking in multi-storey next door at a rate of £6.40 for 24 hours. Finally, the meal we received to the room was amazing! Cannot recommend enough! 😁

Hotel is very quiet but the staff are very professional and more than willing to compensate for the difficulties of the Covid regulations. Would definitely stay here again if working in the area.

As good as most the chain, nice attentive staff, clean rooms — shame if people mark down just because of covid restrictions I. E. Early bar etc.

Amazing place with highly professional stuff. My view was incredible — seeing whole Preston in the night from the top floor was breath taking experience. Restaurant with delicious meals and beautiful arrangements — Gym available for every personal level of exercise. I can not recommend highly enough this please. Extremely thank You for all what I was been offer and for whole experience.

Comfortable rooms, clean and supplied with tea & coffee makings. Food in the bar/grill was very good. Would stay here again on a visit.

I’ve stayed for a few weeks now … for work. The hotel is immaculate, well designed, modern, food is great compared to others in the area. Staff are very professional, and accommodating. Great little gym, with healthy options on the menu too.

Lovely restaurant area, nice lunch prepared for conference guests. Free quality coffee machines.

Great staff, modern decor and idealy situated for city centre and bus and rail stations. Would certainly recommend.

The Xmas party package is Excellent value for money and all staff were great helpful and friendly highly recommend.

Directions to hotel not great/clear. Staff lovely (and tolerant), room very nice. Limited parking which is stated on the website but discount should be offered — for stays after 7am — for the multi story opposite. Location wise — spot on for central amenities.

Nice rooms on all levels good tvs and beds also good carpet. Nice shower gel provided. Staff work hard. Only issue was queuing for meals.

Beds were nice. We were still in our room at 12pm I did ask room service to clean the room after we had gone nobody came. Came back to the room at 7pm phones room service somebody come up but we were still in the room. I told the lady come back in a hour nobody still cleaned the room. Wasn't very happy.

Not the nicest HI we’ve stayed at and we’ve stayed many places with Spire Elite status. 24 hour room service but no room service menu per front desk when I requested an omelette. (I found one later in our stay which had an omelette as an option) phone in room didn’t work half the time. The refrigerators have been taken out of all the rooms (I was informed of this when I called as it was removed from our room). I had bought a lot of food as I am traveling with a 3 year old with food allergies and had to throw it all away. (They did offer to store it in their small employee refrigerator but I don’t trust that with my child’s food as he has food allergies) Window leaking when rained. As we are are Spire Elite status we usually have at least complimentary water in the room (or a candy bar that we can’t eat) or an upgrade offer but there was nothing. Beds are comfortable thankfully and room dark in the morning and at night before the sun goes down. (Important for putting a child to bed at 7pm! ). The aircon also worked which was a plus in this heat we have been having.

It's a Holiday Inn and if you want a bed for the night I guess it would do in a crisis. Next to the bus station and a dual carriageway. Hideous building.

52 of us stayed here in March — All was great until I came home to a £100 parking fine for parking where Holiday Inn staff told me to park (next to the island) — even after I asked for the 4 digit code to the overflow car park! Not impressed! I have tried to contact them but nobody seems to be able to help and I have appealed against the fine-but no joy! Will re think our accommodation for the next tour in March.

Nice weekend bought place and central but not enough parking and too many changes going on around town… could do with someone there to redirect, when their own is full.

Rooms are good manger she lovely some staff are ok. Wait an hour b4 getting served dinner got told to be there 4 7. Then they gave kids there dinner and leave adults another half an hour kids were board And had long day. It would been comon scence to give full table there meal. Wen we got the meal it wad awfull I would recomed for food but rooms are ok and clean.

The hotel itself is quite old, but well maintained. Good cozy rooms, breakfast spread is excellent. TV Channels are not as best as one would like.

Comfortable bed, nice room, attentive and polite staff and great breakfast selection. I couldn't ask for more from my stay. The mini gym is in need of some tlc which I was told is due next year. I stayed for work so I anticipate I'll get the opportunity to see it.

We couldn't have asked for better service. We arrived late at night at aroubd 12am and the manager called nick was on duty. When we had checked in the manager said instead of using the multi story car park over the road please park in my space in the hotel car park. Nick moved his car for me and I had his space. Which made a huge difference at 12 am in the morning I can tell you! And after a 7 1/2 hour journey. Clean rooms great food in the morning for breakfast. Friendly staff who do an amazing job. I would fully reccomend this hotel. Its excellent!

Excellent service beautiful and clean. Meals beautiful can't fault this established hotel.

The entrance area was a bit chilly and the coffee machines didnt work, however the lady in charge at the time provided us with excellent replacements. The food was incredible and plenty of it. The staff were great and extremely helpful.

The hotel is dated and needs a refurbishment… BUT THE GOOD NEWS, the staff are most hospitable and polite. Thank you staff, Holiday Inn. Well refurbished ASAP.

Customer service was great, and the bar area was awesome. The bartenders was a friendly as can be, and always seemed excited to be working. The rooms were small, as well as the workout room. No pool, just so y'all know. The hotel is in a decent spot from restaurants, malls, walking distances from the train station and other activities.

Had our Christmas meal there from work first time we’ve been. It was excellent. Great staff welcoming us in with prosecco. Meal was really delicious and the free wine etc in the tables was great. Excellent dj and all in all a really good night. Nothing too much trouble. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Colonel Sanders opened his first UK restaurant in Preston over 50 years ago and by the look of my room it hasn't had a makeover since. Nice bar area if you can get served, definitely needs someone on it full time. Compliments to Zoe and Nicole (? ) for the craic last night. Oh and whoever was emptying bottle bins at 6am this morning needs shooting!

The staff are wonderful, the hotel offers a full hot breakfast. Rooms are small, the bed takes up most of the room. Hotel staff are eager to please, will do their utmost to accommodate guests.

Situated next to bus and coach station. Central for shops, market, pubs+restaurants. Rooms good size with all amenities. Nice bar. Breakfast was excellent, good choice from continental to full english. The staff are really friendly.

Very good enjoyed it the courier and driver were great just needed another day very tiring for the older generation but all in all a good weekend very good hotel.

Really enjoyed my stay, was reasonably priced and comfortable enough for the night.

Had an issue with room booking due to false advertising online. They gave us two rooms instead of 1 however to fix this situation which is great. Room was nice, big, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast but this was not included in the price. Didn't explore area but seems close enough to things on a map. Plenty of parking.

Great service, nice room. The only thing I'd say is a negative is that it was just a touch too warm in the room for my liking.

If only it was possible to give 0 stars! I will strongly advise anyone considering booking at this hotel to reconsider! A complete waste of money. The issues start as soon as you drive into the hotels car park. Well, for the amount we paid for one night (£67) you'd hope there would be parking available! Wishful thinking, the car park is unbelievably small with limited parking considering how many rooms the hotel has! With no parking available, we were directed to a shabby, rough car park with people lurking around. The car park was quite a long walk away from the hotel. Pay and display ofcourse, so you would be paying to park your car for the night! Nevertheless, we decided to park in there anyway. To no ones surprise, the pay and display machine was broken! We went back to the hotel, and made them aware again there was nowhere to park. The manager then gave us the code for a car park which was literally next to the hotel! Why they didnt give us that in the first instance I dont know! To my husbands delight, he was asked to ensure he would move his car by 7am from the car park in the morning! No chance of a sleep in for us then! Just when me and my husband thought we could go upto our room for two (with a double bed) to relax… we open the door to see two single beds! When booking online, the "double room" option was given, not specifying there would be two SINGLE beds and not a double bed!

Everyone seems very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, some facilities, however parking is very limited and hard to get a space if late.

The hotel is a little older but well maintained. Unfortunately very few parking places, alternative is a parking garage which is chargeable.

Had problems connecting to the Wi-Fi which needed a call to fix, but it was quickly sorted. There's limited parking available, but I got in early. Road noise is an issue for me, a light sleeper, but a lovely comfortable bed helped.

The holiday inn while comfortable was extremely hot as the air conditioning didn't work in the room. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly and accommodated us with a takeaway breakfast. All in all it was a good Stay that could have been improved with some tweaks.

Wifi doesn't work. Several devices all fine everywhere else and stock os too. Turns out an up to date operating system won't work but older ones do due to Incorrect implementation of security protocols. Reception staff very helpful, shame technology doesn't work if kit not 2 years out of date.

Stayed overnight. Arrived late due to terrible traffic on the A9 and M6, and having booked only 20 minutes prior to arrival.
Initially I was irritated and tired, Donna on reception could not have been more helpful. Assisting me patiently with a host of questions I threw at her. We got settled in the room and we into the town for some food. Not finding (or knowing) of anywhere good to eat, we went back to the hotel and made use of the bar menu.
Rick behind the bar was really accommodating and Friendly.
We ordered from the restaurant menu (it was fully booked but we were offered the full menu from the bar)
Had a two course meal each for £30. Well worth the money, also a great bottle of Chilean merlot.
Finished with a couple of vodkas and went to bed. Slept well albeit slightly restless due to the heat.
Awoke early and had breakfast in the restaurant — a buffet style selection of standard choices (cereals, and a good choice of fried/grilled hot food) my only gripes would be the AC in the room — wasn't too good, and the lift doesn't operate from the ground floor after 10pm or before 7am — I had a bad leg so lugging things (including myself! ) to the first floor reception wasn't good.
The rooms are of a far better standard than travelodge or premier inn, but the beds are not as good as the latter.

Stayed here a few times over the years. Good points: Decent location. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Bad points: Rooms seem to be getting smaller every stay (maybe it's the room I am given, but it was significantly smaller than my last few stays). Random churning noise coming from the bathroom every hour — not sure what it was. Was too lazy to complain about it. Overall the hotel is decent, but could do with some improvements to the rooms.

I wouldn't chose to stay here. It's a soulless, business oriented, Linton Travel Tavern with parking for only a handful of cars and a restaurant that closes at 10.

Overall we had a good stay as a business couple. Staff were fantastic. Best of all was the lovely Thai lady from the restaurant. We did however find the evening dining wasn't great. Food wasn't up the the standard of the price being asked. Also there was quite a few bits in the room that didn't work including the air con.

The hotel's location is convenient if you are working in Preston, or for the train station (it's a ten minute walk). The rooms are comfortable, if not luxurious, and the staff are all too happy to help. It is located next to a busy main road, so the traffic noise can be a bit annoying on the lower floors, though there are heavy shutters in the affected rooms.

Rooms were smaller than premier inns but just as relaxing and comfortable.

Friendly staff, great service, lovely room. But the parking on-site is horrible. Your best bet is to pay £4 and park across the street.

Absolutely perfect nights sleep kind polite staff brilliants rooms and good bar including a free gym. And close to preston night life and all amenity's.

Easily accessible via train station, room was good, breakfast really nice. Only complaint the free Wi-Fi, advertised alot in the hotel, is near unusable only starts being okay to use when post midnight, not ideal!

Very good basic amenities in room. No fridge is disappointing but the room is very clean and has all the other things I need. TV channel choice is very limited.

Easy to access local amenities, transport links and city centre. Preston bus station is right next to it.

The double room was modern, clean and the bed was very comfortable. View: nothing special, just the Ring Way and the bus station. Location: Very convenient, next to the bus station, 5 mins walk from church street etc.

Good budget hotel, within walking distance of city center. The decor is a bit tired but rooms very functional. Included breakfast was good, only negative note a bad-tempered waitress (or maybe she was just having a bad day). Lovely mini-gym on top floor, better appointed than most fitness suites in comparable hotels.

Staff are friendly and welcoming and always helpful. Great breakfast. I like the booths in the bar/restaurant. Chicken and chorizo pasta is great. Air con to keep the room cool.

The car park is stupidly tiny and if its full your only option is to park in the local bus stations multi story, which is dark, nasty and smells like a toilet. Its also extremely easy to "kerb" your wheels on the large and oddly aligned concrete barriers in the entrance, please be careful as they are difficult to see and seem to really mess up your tyres! Rooms are a little run down, but nothing too bad. Breakfast is not always included in the standard tariff and costs £10 as an addition. Due to the parking I wont use this hotel again and with the breakfast issue I will ask for Holiday Inns not be used by my company. Generally I am extremely disappointed.

Room was fine, nice bed, good bathroom. Good food at dinner and breakfast, great staff. Convenient location. Ideal for my weekend business trip.
