An absolute must place to stay if you are interested in calming beautiful place to lessen the stresses of your life.

This is a fabulous place to visit to relax. Situated in beautiful surroundings. There is a gym, a pool, a fishing pond and fab grounds to walk around. Even a play area for the youngsters.

Only stayed here 1 night, nice place. From thr resort manager to receptionist, to pool attendants, all staff were great.

I just love this place. Diamond staff are fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble. It's quiet and peaceful.

Fabulous mini break at this beautiful country retreat. Fabulous accommodation, good food in the restaurant and brisk country walks. Would definitely recommend this hotel for short peaceful breaks or even business travel. Far better than a basic hotel.

The apartment was huge, very well suited to our needs, and reasonably furnished although when you looked a little closer the standards of cleanliness were not as good as expected; a little grimy with oversights to detail. Staff seemed friendly. We did not use the facilities or restaurant.

Stayed here in January. It was really romantic but not much close by.

Been here, so relaxing place the rooms dining area and pool. The foods is good also the staffs are friendly.

A lovely quiet mansion/hotel/resort, the location is excellent, friendly and professional staff. The main lounge is an ideal place to relax with a drink and a book, and the on site restaurant is good. There is also a swimming pool on site, no don't swim in the duck pond. Disabled parking and access are OK too.

Great place. Rooms are spacious and quiet. The grounds are picturesque. The food is the bar and restaurant is tasty and the staff are friendly.

Lovelyl large apartments with plenty of parking but annoying to have to pay for Wi-Fi, given the cost of accomodation!

Lovely building and grounds and vey secluded and quiet. The staff were generally quite friendly. Enjoyed the breakfast. I think the bar and restaurant stop serving at 8.45pm, so bear that in mind if checking in after that time.

Gorgeous place however they overbooked us so sent us to a sister hotel which was a completely different standard of hotel. Wanted a relaxing spa style weekend, ended up in an upscale pontoons.

Great place. Stayed in a two bed apartment in the grounds. Superb very high standard interior. Very clean. Friendly helpful staff. Pool, sauna, whirlpool and gym. Had bar snack lovely. Film night, quiz night or just relax in your own apartment. Couldn't fault the place. Only drawback couldn't check in till 4.00pm and checkout was 10.00am. One of our party wanted to use gym before we left and that didn't open till 9.00am Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone.

Great location just off the M6. Decent value. Good for families with self catering, self contained flats.

Yesterday 8 family members had lunch here for the first time. All thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The waiter and waitress were lovely very informative and attentive. Will definately dine here again.

Came down for a relaxing weekend break with my daughter, mother in law and her sister. Booked a few weeks later to come back for a few nights of peace after our wedding in a few weeks.

Great place to stay. Our studio was brilliant and fantastic value at only £50/night. Very well appointed too.

Being A Diamond member I have to say this is the worst place we have stayed. Our Bungalow was a lovely size but furnishings so outdated, the kitchen must have been at least 20 years old with an antiquated dishwasher, It was fully equipped for the disabled with electric single beds and a fully equipped bathroom for a disabled person which we felt uncomfortable with. We went for lunch in the hall on arrival and had to go looking for staff no one was behind the bar or anywhere to be seen, we eventually got our food and drinks (the food was good), on the table was a coaster with jam on I put it on the radiator under the window where we were sitting and guess what 3 days later it was still there. All the coasters were well used and dirty. The bar and restaurant seemed to be run by university students who really didn't have a clue, we were asked by one who came to take our order " Have you come to a conclusion"? When we checked out a day early we had no money to pay even though we had had 3 meals to pay for the receptionist had to go to the restaurant to find our bills and they could only find two not that I an complaining about that lol. On a positive note the grounds, area, and swimming pool were lovely, but I wouldn't go back there if you paid me.
