The hosts were lovely, and completely accomodating of my checking in requirements. The room was soooo comfortable and amazing value for money with everything I could possibly ask for. The cooked breakfast was done to perfection, and delivered to my room on time and hot. I could easily have stayed longer.

We stayed for two nights in the large double while attending a wedding close by. The room was well done out with good quality furniture and a lovely view. The shower was the best we have had whilst staying away. Nice biscuits left fresh each day. The breakfast was excellent and very enjoyable both mornings. Bonus points for the fantastic sausage. We liked the pre order system choosing what time we would like to eat. Really lovely hosts with fun personalities. We would definitely recommend x.

Very nice room. Done to a high standard… Tea, coffee, cookies and milk in the room, the onsuite shower is large and lots of hot water. Very helpful owners. Lovely place.

An excellent B & B. Clean, comfortable and lots of extras. Steven and Ann have gone out their way to create a good experience. Breakfast was amazing and the fridge stocked. Very high standard plus allowed our dog. Definitely would go back.

I stayed here for a night after a very long day (95miles), cycling to John O'Groats (from Land's End). A tad short of half way. I was greeted by the lovely Sheila who had generously cooked me a very welcome dinner, pre arranged that morning and we chatted happily for ages about all sorts. The house is completely charming with interesting old photos on the walls and homely décor, making you feel extremely comfortable. It's cheap (the cheapest place I stayed in for 2 weeks), but it more than equalled the more expensive B&B's in comfort and atmosphere. I stayed at 12 different places in 14 days and this was only 1 of 2 B&B's that I would be happy to return to — not least, to continue my chat with Sheila. Rob.
