The reality of this place is very different to what is advertised. The building is run down, dirty & foul smelling. There is nothing luxurious about it whatsoever. We booked 3 separate en-suite ‘luxury’ rooms. I was given the disabled apartment which wasn’t accessible through the main hotel but rather a dark back street full of rubbish, scrap, & dog poo. At night you have to unlock a gate to access the back street. This place is not safe & certainly isn’t disabled friendly. The room itself was not clean. The smell was unbearable, there was thick dust knocking about, there was damp issues, the bedding & towels smelt, carpets were dirty, the bathroom mouldy, & some lights didn’t work. To top it of the ceiling was dripping water when we arrived. Completely unsafe & unsanitary. I attempted to get a different room or a refund, however, it was difficult to communicate with the receptionist as he spoke little English. He felt the room was satisfactory & we were not offered an alternative or any form of compensation. Avoid at all costs. The owners should be ashamed.
