What a lovely Hotel from Beautiful rooms down to Amazing Staff. Food was amazing. Anything you wanted from daily fresh towels bedding, great warm cosy bar, I would 100%Highly recommend this Hotel to all family and friends. Located at the Heart of everything you need. Will defo be going back there in june n july. X would like to thank Staff there, amazing ty. Xx.

Really nice friendly hotel happy to stay here again very friendly staff anything you need just ask and they will get it for you. Breakfast was beautiful nice comfy beds nice function suit ideal for any occasion cheep prices can't say anything more until you try it for yourselfs it's a must xx.

Just spent the weekend here with the other half and can honestly say I've no negative comments on this hotel… staff were friendly attentive and helpful. Room was spotless and was plenty of teabags coffee sachets etc… breakfast was delicious. … in fact only negative thing was we had a rubbish view of the back alley but will definitely come here again.

OK where to start with The Stretton Hotel. First and foremost it was a terrible stay and could see why so low on price. The room it self which was Room 225 had just apparently been cleaned, and when we went into the room there was fleas/bugs crawling around the bed. Then I went to make a cup of tea and the plug socket is installed by the wash basin and the switch was temperamental, and come on who installs electrical equipment by a wash basin? Accident waiting to happen there. The shower and toilet was very small and the plumbing for the shower was installed running through the wardrobe so if any burst pipes, you will have your clothes ruined. Also if anyone adjacent used their sink or toilet it bubbled through to our wash basin which was also noisy and interrupted sleep. The bed was like sleeping on a concrete block, which I understand some people prefer a hard bed but unfortunately it was not for me. And the wall are that thin I was kept awake all night by a screaming baby that was staying in a adjacent room. As for the breakfast, it was absolutely disgusting. Not cooked well at all and stay away from the scrambled eggs as its clear they were powder based and were very sloppy. I had to go to a local Weatherspoons straight after to pay for a decent breakfast. I have stayed in a lot better hotels in Blackpool for the same price and even lower. Will not be returning here again.

We have just got home from the stretton hotel in blackpool! Its a lovely hotel, very clean and modern. Our room was a seaview room with 2 double beds. Its a 5 minute walk to the shops and the tower. The hotel has a nice little bar and restaurant. We would definitely recommend to friends and family and we will be returning again :) thanks!

The breakfast was great. I had a good time. The location of the hotel is perfect.

The bedroom was a good size and although the decor a little dated there's everything you need and it was lovely and clean. The staff at reception, bar, housekeeping and breakfast were all friendly and polite. This was the first time my daughter had been in a B&B and its been a fantastic experience because of the staff, customer service at its very best x.

Very clean with good quality bedding, beds and breakfast. Took 1 star off as decor was a bit dated but excellent value for money and we will definitely return.

Comfy beds, good quality towels and bedding, freindly helpful staff who did everything to accommodate. It's very clean though a bit dated, but would definitely return. Really couldn't fault the place.

Just got back home from a long weekend in Blackpool. Stratton Hotel Queens Promenade. Stayed at this Hotel for a second time. Last year was great. This year.

We stayed 1 night on friday, went to check in at 3.30, were told room was not ready due to staff calling in sick, wasn't a problem, we said we would come back later. Returned at 6.15 pm to check in, and were again told room was not ready yet. When we got keys to our room, we had to dodge a whole landing full of dirty linen, rubbish and cups glasses ect that were left along the halls while 3 young girls were still frantically cleaning rooms. Admittedly, they were very polite and, apologetic but it didn't look good. Our room was clean and tidy as described, no problems there. When we went out for the evening at 8pm — we still had to dodge all the laundry on the landing.
Breakfast was ok but very unorganized. I feel like the staff done nothing but apologize for everything. I feel maybe they were inexperienced in the hospitality trade. I hope if I return it is a bit more organized. I know its not a great review, but on a positive, all the staff were very polite, even when obviously stressed.

Pretty run down and smells funny, the staff can be a bit thin on the ground. There is Wi-Fi but I couldn't get it to work. This place has the best towels I've ever encountered in a hotel though, so that's something. Overall the hotel represents Blackpool as a whole, not the best. We still had a good time though.

This was not the best place and the staff was very helpful but management was less than desired poor staff two was told off in front of everyone which was not very professional there was no TV in the room the room we was giving was not on the pictures which is what we based decision too stay there the dinner was an episode of faulty towers tried ordering our dinner and then told they had no food left so we had to go and find a restruant for dinner then there was breakfast well what can I say felt rushed and the breakfast was cold and pre cooked so it was heated up and wen I said something about it all I was told was it was the wrong day to stay so disappointed and I wouldn't stay there again.

Lovely place. I was well looked after and Shane couldn't do enough for me. Breakfast was delicious too.

Staff are very helpful very good breakfast clean and welcoming I would come again.

Staff were lovely, couldnt do anymore for us. Food was lovely. Bar was open 24hrs. It was clean and comfortable. Only given 4 stars as some areas looked like they needed a bit of upgrading. Jake who was working the night shift and had to put up with our early hours drinking and shenanigans was so lovely, professional and patient! Would reccomend. We stayed to save on a taxi home to Preston and it was well worth it! Thanks Guys! X.

Lovely breakfast. Staff were friendly. Shower was to small and carpet had dirty marks on it.

Cheap and clean decent breakfast.

Staff very friendly and the bed was not comfy and it made a horrible sound when you moved breakfast was ok if you had cereal but the full english wasn't nice and we didn't get a sea view room when asked when I booked so we will not be stopping there again.

Very friendly staff excellent service, clean and comfortable beds, evening entertainment singer very good, full English breakfast lovely could have been hotter, over all had a lovely time and would definitely be returning.

No parking… well they tell you that you can reserve it for £3 a night to get there and be told no that doesn't happen so you end up paying £13 for 24 hours! Get inside ask where I'm supposed to dispose of nappies… get handed a carrier bag. Dirty bathroom, hole in the floor, hair in the drain, get told our room is cleaned everyday, all is done is the bed is made and they can't even do that right! Shame because a lot of the staff were quite nice! Oh and the 'free Wi-Fi' doesn't exist if your staying on the 4th floor.

Hi food and staff great they are refurbishing the hotel after just taken over my bedroom was very clean and comfortable I have stayed at 4&5star hotels that didn't offer as much for the price.

In the middle of a refurb but good value for money and in a good location for nightlife.

Just awful, shared our room with some sort of dead bug, carpets were dirty and worn, bed was lumpy, bar wasn't open, didn't even stay for the breakfast, paid far less for much better.

Stayed here 13/10/17. Lovely friendly manager took time to speak to us and our 2 girls. Had a great Seaview in our family room. Lovely breakfast. Polite and helpful staff. Will definitely stay again.

This hotel is really nice. The owners are very friendly and helpful. This is our 2nd visit this year. It is lovely and clean and the beds are so comfy. The breakfast is great with lots of choice and you are a short walk away from central Blackpool. Will definately be back again next year.

Exceptionally good brekfast and clean rooms.

Very dirty and smelly carpet. Found Very dirty bottom of the Kettle inside. Small bath room and can't have a bath due to low pressure water on shower. Not enough space for bath. Shower curtain touching your body when you are having a shower. No individual heating facilities. Cold wind comes through the windows. No car park for every one. So you need to pay for public card park. It's only work with coins. So you need to have lots of coins and also not cheap. Really sad and uncomfortable when I was there but paid lots of money. There Very good and friendly staff anyway. Not recommend for anyone.

Terrible place terrible irish speaking manager. Took our booking for three adults one with wheelchair. When we arrived at 9pm turned us away said couldn't accommodate disable. Took out payment without permission. We complainef to bookings. Com who eere useless. Thry assured us thstcouldnt happen. Beware this hotel doesn't want you it wants your csrd drtails though.

The Stretton Hotel is now under new management as of 1st of September. We will be reopening on Friday 16th. We have started to refurbish and will continue to over the coming months.

Over priced but good location right next to the beach. If I was homeless and needed shelter it will do. But I'm not homeless I'm on holiday! Lady at reception was nice but informed us we had bin a victim of fraud by the owner and he is now in Spain! Bath broken but the room is not too bad. I hope someone comes along and sorts this place out coz it could be lovely with the right help.

Amazing place best place EVEEER! Havent been there yet but sounds and looks the bees knees cant wait!

Went there last night for a black tie event for my local rugby clubs presentation evening, food was awful, tables laid out poorly making it near impossible to pull chairs out to sit down, staff waiting on in jeans trainers and a t-shirt, would not recommend at all, avoid at all costs.

This is an absolutely awful hotel. £50 for one night. The room smelled of drains, the wallpaper was peeling off, the toilet didn't flush, the TV didn't work, the irons had been nicked. The receptionist was really rude and unhelpful, telling us to go to the shop and buy an iron. On site car park consists of 3 spaces! Do not stay in this sad excuse of a hotel. Worst stay ever and spent money buying candles to get rid of the stench.

We Have stayed at this Hotel for the last 10yrs or so but will never set foot in it again. The hotel stinks because it is not clean, the bar has been taken out so no drinks This used to be a nice hotel where you could sit and enjoy the seaview with a drink perhaps its because it is changed hands and now and the new owner has let it get into the sorry Mess it has become.

Breakfast is not good at all.

Stayed here on new years eve 12, Worst place I have ever stayed, the heating wasn't on, there was no t. V in the room. I can say I won't be staying here again.

The manager, oh sorry The General Manager needs take a few courses to learn how to manager. His maner was appauling his people skills nil and I dont think he understands the word diplomancy. Made a good stay very unpleasent.
