Lovely, clean, friendly hotel. Breakfast absolutely gorgeous and the sea view room was big enough for us, the beds were super comfy.
would definitely recommend and its right on the sea front for an amazing price.
my little girl loved Jack and Daisy and can't wait to come back x.

Just got home with my Fiancé, we enjoyed a nice weekend in Blackpool — the hotel was spotless! The room was a good size, the drinks at the bar were cheap we were sad to hear it will not be there next year! Nice little hotel.

My fiance and I are just back from our stay here … we had a great wee break and Tony and Jackie are lovely and very accommodating to everyones needs which is good. Room was clean and tidy and breakfast was fab and as I told her before we left she makes the best fried eggs in Blackpool. Thanks guys and see you again x.

Just back from a long weekend at this hotel. We loved it, got a front sea view room which was great views to wake up to every morning. The owners were really friendly and accomidating. Amazing deal on breakfast, my daughter and partner are very fussy with food but they both loved it. Will definitely be back.

We booked to stay here for 2nights as we were visiting family.
We wasn’t at the hotel much due to family arrangements so we didn’t eat at hotel. The hotel is in a perfect spot, tram stops outside,
Beach across the road.
We arrived earlier than expected and before check in time, I called the hotel and the lady was very welcoming with directions and also happy for us to arrive a little early.
Couple who run/own it are very nice and made us feel welcome.
Room was spacious.

Fantastic central location for a base to all attractions.
Friendly staff and very comfortable and clean rooms.
Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

The owner couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic sea view from our room the owners made us feel welcome and made a great breakfast in the morning. Will defo come back again without a doubt.

Friendly family hotel, right on Blackpool beach front.

Just back from this hotel and its like the land that time forgot!.
Where can I start shower is either burn the skin off you or freezing.
The hall way just smells of old cooking oil (really bad).
To be fair the guy that runs it was nice enough but I won't be staying there again.
God only knows where the 5 star and 4 star ratings come from as its not what people are saying in there review.

Had a fantastic break at the Lyric and will definitely be going back. Handy for all attractions and there is a tram stop right outside. They also do the best breakfast in Blackpool!

Fantastic hotel — Been before and it never disappoints! Room was very clean, beds were comfy, window view was amazing. Owner was very helpful, he told us of a Chinese restaurant that then gave us a discount! All the information we needed was in the room booklet. As we didn't have a car and our train wasn't till the afternoon, the Owner let us leave our bags at the hotel after checkout until we needed them. Very secure locks, felt very safe. Lovely little lounge to sit in and meet other guests. Overall, we loved our stay and would love to stay again! Allie & Owen

Tony was lovely hotel is in a great spot.

Never again AVOID this hotel the heating is switched off and told they have took the fuse out to avoid high electricity bills so had to freeze The food wasn't good either after having breakfast had a sore stomach no matter every time eaten the breakfast I would never stay here again and I advise to everyone to avoid They got rules which makes you feel that your a burden to them.

Awful place to stay, amongst a rude man running the business how he spoke to my husband, never introduced any staff who worked there. Please stayed in a family room it was thick in dust we had to breath that in glad to be home would not recommend stay away!

STAY AWAY This place is filthy and disgusting, Windows that dirty, u can see out your sea view window, dampness on walls and room Celling, toilet u can't move in, and under the beds haven't seen a hover in ages, stayed in many of blackpools b&bs, and this has to be the worse, breakfast is shocking, the worst English breakfast I have ever had, this advertises as a hotel, more like a HOSTEL, and the owner is a grumpy arrogant man, we stayed in room 22 roughly 6 flights of stairs, and the hotel owner slept below our room, and all you can hear is birds making noices If your used to staying in filthy places this will be good for u, if not take my word and stay away,

Lovely little hotel friendly owners, really clean and comfy beds what more can you ask for, highly recommended will be staying here again when in blackpool.

To set JAMES on the right path because I feel he has been staying in a tent in his back yard and find his review appalling. I have been a visitor to the LYRIC HOTEL now for more than 15 years and it is the only hotel that I would stay in. I run a local O. A. P. And have stayed at the hotel every year and the group went there even before I took it over from my mum when she couldn't manage to organize it anymore. The hotel is not only clean and friendly but the hosts make your stay second to none. All the rooms are freshly made with clean linen and towels and well stocked with tea making facilities and the en-suites are just what is needed in the morning and for a nice hot shower at the end of the day. The food is excellent and there is also a wide varied choice of meals. My group that I take have never ever had any complaints and I always have to book for the next year because the love it that much and they are always treated like royalty when there. As I have said to me "the lyric hotel is the only place to be".

I have read the reviews from other so called guests (hi james), unfortunately I get the feeling he was either staying in a totaly different hotel and has genuinely got mixed up or he is a just drunken yob playing silly games and showing off to his mates on his mums computer whilst they are out, thinking that ruining someones buisness is fun. I have been an avid fan of blackpool for many years, always visiting different hotels as I thought of this as part of the exitement. However several years ago I stayed at the Lyric and have never been anywere else since, first of all the host are warm and very freindly and always have time for there guests. The hotel itself and clenliness are second to none never so much as a stain on a towel have I seen. The food from breakfast to the evening meal if required are absalutely spot on and realy make the holiday.

Stayed 21-23rd April. Been coming to this hotel over 10 years. Already booked october. The food was the usual high quality. Bedrooms clean and tidy. High qualty service, well looked after by tony and jackie. Absolutely superb hotel highly recommended and already lookng forward to my next visit.

Myself an my partners family stayed at the Lyric while in blackpool. All I can advise is that everyone stays well clear of this place! Everything in the place was filthy, the showers, bedding towels etc Infact it was so horrible I slept fully clothed wrapped in my jacket as for a shower, you would get cleaner in the sea! Bedding was covered in stains and just generally disgusting. Tv had a very poor signal also which was really frustrating. Our major concern however was that no matter how many times we asked the owner to keep out of our room when we were out they totally ignored us, which left me feeling uneasy about leaving any jewellery etc there! Basically this is a place that I wouldn't return to for free never mind at a price.
