Staff really nice but the place itself isn't nice needs a good plaster an new furniture.

Cheap and cheerful… Can't expect any more for the price. However the staff and very welcoming, friendly and helpful. What it lacks in decor is made up for by the staff. I'd give them five stars ✨

Place is acceptable for the price however need some upgrading / restoration. The staff nice and really helpful.

Door lock broken when we got in the room it was so hot the windows didn't open had to go and buy a fan and leave it there. Breakfast was toast cornflakes egg and cheese. Cooked breakfast looked greasy. Had to go out for breakfast. Bathroom was tiny couldn't get water out of tap for kettle sink to small. Shower was so cold then boiling hot. Beds were broke 4 of us had to sleep in 2 single beds. Tv Ariel wire was hanging all round the walls. Needs a good renovation.

There is absolutely no personal care or empathy from this establishment regarding cancellation policy! Booked one day, cancelled a few day later, they have taken the FULL balance amount from my account. I have requested a free cancellation given that I have left 8 weeks for them to resell the room they still claim that they cannot refund. I understand companies have policies and procedures to follow, but considering this seems to be a family run hotel and I was offereing to leave a “deposit” Un-refunded I thought that they could of waviered some of the cash balance back to me. If this is the basic customer service that they offer just at the booking and cancellation process I would not recommend staying here and except any kind of customer care!

If it was possible to rate any lower, I would. Absolutely appalling — the room was an absolute mess. The lock looks like it had been kicked off (as it was replaced with some wood) the window was held open by a bottle of water. Beside the bed there were (what looked like) rat droppings — (they had definitely been there for some time) Other than that — the bed was extremely uncomfortable, couldn't decide if they had even put fresh sheets on… All of the rooms are super close together too — overall it was absolutely awful and I definitely will not be staying again!

It's not the world best hotel to look at average Blackpool b and b. But rooms were clean and staff are very welcoming and nice. So was worth the money.

The rooms are small and scruffy. The beds are squeaky and lumpy. The heating in our room didn’t work and our view from the top floor was showing a backyard with pipes and roof top. The toilet is noisy too. The corridor smells of smoke and damp and the breakfast is horrible. The price of the breakfast was included in the hotel stay such as toast and a brew, but you had to pay extra for a full English breakfast When we ask to move room, because we were unhappy the foreign ladies at the reception said no.

Bad service room gave us no t. V. Very small room wardrobe blocking window. No coffee facilities curtain hanging of window. 2nd room better larger no towels not enough pillows arrival. Could not let us in room hour half exspected time 2pm. Hour galf waiting 2nd room. Would not recommend friends family community. Share this message community.

Basic room, breakfast included is a continental breakfast, had to pay £3 pound extra for a full English, which was NOT worth it as it was 1 sausage 1 egg 1 hashbrown 1 bacon few beans. Won't order full English there again. Cups in room was mucky! and stairs to go to room wasn't good 3rd floor up with no lift! mattress you could feel springs! need new one's. 1 thing I didn't agree was a member of staff pulling another member of staff down in front of guest's as it was only her 1st day! but apart fro. That staff was fantastic. Check out was 11am but our train wasn't till 2.30pm and the staff let us keep our luggage at hotel till we was ready to go to train station :)

This hotel is in major need of refurbishment. It was blowing a gale last night and the room we were in had no handle on the bedroom window to allow us to close it properly. Also the bathroom window had been boarded up with plywood. Both windows rattled all night. The only positive note was that the bedding and towels were clean and the water in the shower was hot. I would not recommend staying here even though it was cheap.

In real need of a refit but cheap… you pay for what you get I suppose… nice staff though except not 24 hr service, had to get a mate already in room to let us in and then wait in bar area until someone turned up to let us in… "continental breakfast" means cheese, egg and toast nothing more.

24 hour reception was closed when we got back so we were locked out. Rang 5 times to get through. Continental breakfast was boiled eggs, cheese slices, toast and cornflakes. Rooms are not great. Found a bong behind wash hand basin. Wouldnt recommend unless your really on a budget.

Glad we only stopped one night slept in better sheds not nice at all for price we paid.

Really enjoyed my stay kids have had a fab time the staff was really nice friendly and there to help with anything you need the continental breakfast was a hit with the kids would defo book to stay hear again.

Not clean at all. Very noisy at night. Staff non existent. Kept coming back to room to find it unlocked as when they put fresh towels in didn't feel the need to lock it again. Doors don't lock properly reported to staff the bloke didn't know what he was doing to a point where I took the drill and fixed it my self overall shocking place and will not be staying again.

We have just had 2 nights at the hotel. Very friendly staff. Clean room. Very warm. Good beds constant hot water. Breakfast one full one continental very satisfying. No complaints. Will stay again. X.

Come home today from an over night stay which Im so glad to be back in my own bed. Pros Close to sea front. Clean sheets. Very white Cheap — family of 6 two rooms 87 pound Fresh towels. Crisp need a bit of conditioner but frest. Clean bathroom. It was at all dirty a little smelly but overall okay Hot beverages in room. Milk needs to be fresh though. My cup of tea taste vile with plastic milk. Cons 1 — This hotel does not stand up to its name. I mean royal! Theres no royal in it. It's shabby to look at. It's a very large place which such big empty rooms and decor that's not seem a paint brush for a while or if it did they decorator should of gone to specsavers 2 — people smoking weed and skinning up In front of my kids. I didn't say anything I just took them away quickly but they did inhale so. Excited which I wasn't happy about. Theyou should be away from the entrance. 3 — I know it's an old place but wow the floors were so cheeky goingredients up stairs. If you put on nice thick carpet it will take away some of the notice. Not all of it but some. 4 — rooms well small and TV on my wall was a but dangerous. The wire was habeing out the back and it had to be held in to work so that didn't go on. It was clean but the lock on the door wasnt good. I didn't leave stuff in when out and even worried when kids were asleep. About some easily opening it. 5 — firetrap hazard. We were right at the top and I would not want to think about how we get out?

I stopped there this October half term me and two kids they loved it friendly staff they known on ur door when it's room service the room was nice and big the shower was gd and the heating was on the bar is friendly two pool tables would recommend to a friend and would stay there again it's right in town center right behind coral island with is perfect if u have kids.

This hotel was booked for a stag night on 30/09/2017 for a group of 12 men. On arriving at 11am they were told that they couldn't book in till 2pm, however they allowed us to place luggage in one of the reserved rooms. The room smelt musty and damp. After the bags had been placed in room the Party then went back downstairs to be informed that they would have to pay £20 per person extra as a deposit in case of damage to room, which would be refunded the day after before we left, and after the rooms had been checked. We then went into Blackpool centre. We returned to the Hotel around 5pm to watch the football and have something to eat. We were told that the resturant was closed. When we went to our rooms to change for night we were unable to shower as there was no hot water. Later that night on our return to the hotel we realised that one of our group had a key to one of the rooms and no one knew were he was. One of the owners then opened the door with a crow bar damaging the casing, all of which was caught on the cctv system installed in the Hotel. The following morning when we went to get our deposit's back they refused to pay the full amount saying we had damaged the door. They kept back £40 of our money.

Absolutely disgusting windows don't shut properly very small for a triple room, staff find it hard to understand, no heating, stairs very steep doors don't shut properly, glad we we're only there to get our heads down, checked out hours before having to I bioked this fir my birtday to spend with my husband and son in fact it ruined my birthday.

Just about habitabal to sleep in, for £20 per night it's round about what I expected. Was not impressed with the dirty nappies left in our room.

Do not stay here it's awful dirty old tatty. We didn't even order breakfast good for stag and hen dos more like a party sesh hotel. Defo not for kids or families.

Terrible place. Booked for 2 adults and 2 children but gave us a small room with two single beds. No parking facilities at all, not even on close by streets due to this we had to cancel staying as had no where to safely leave our car overnight and was not offered a refund whatsoever. Avoid completely.

Definitely don't bring young children here the rooms and main reception are disgusting there is black mould on walls and mildew in the shower they clean the tables with toxic winfow cleaner and the rooms with bleach both violating health and safety laws. The staff are very rude, a couple was sent to hospital because of an accident due to the rooms.

First off we get to the hotel, it's a dive and a half, stinks of urine, my mom saysl let's just see the room because we were not going to be there that much anyway, so 45minutes after we get there we can finally see the room because they wanted to go "clean" it after walking up 6 flights of stairs with my 2 children (2 and 6 months) the room is less than ok and stinks of bleach We can't open 1 window more than 2 inches The sheets smelt kinda funny lucky I brought my own sheets, the curtains were broken, mold in the shower, could barely close the bathroom door We left looking for somewhere else to stay with no luck didn't go back until 10pm just to spend as little time there as possible, get up in the morning for the breakfast that's supposed to be continental a. K. A tea and toast and dry ass cornflakes, leave at like 9:45 didn't go back til that time of night Asked to speak to the manager who never showed up Did the same thing the next day my little girl was knackered from sleeping on a broken bed, so were my partner and brother. Me and my mom kicked off asking for the management and some acknowledgments of what we were telling them nothing again Finally spoke to someone who spoke decent English and he says the managers not coming you'll have to email him arguing in our faces, getting very defensive of the so called "management".

Minging state rude staff. Cello tapped windows after they have been smashed. Dirty bathroom. Would not let a homeless person stay there.

A cheap place to stay, just rest our heads after a night in Blackpool. The staff were just about helpful but unfortunately the hotel itself just did not feel clean. It is a shame that this standard of cleanliness can pass as acceptable. The "continental" breakfast consisted of juice from dirty jugs, toast and slices of cheese.

The room was tiny, the frosted glass windows made us think we were sleeping in a badly converted bathroom, the bathroom door had no lock of any kind, we had to use a piece of cardboard to close the door. The wardrobe had no doors and broken shelves. We only found out that breakfast was extra and was an extra charge. We left a day early. Very disappointed.

Location was great! Cheap and cheerful hotel, friendly staff and reported faults were fixed straight away.

Complete disaster hotel so damp and run down Yes it's cheap but you wouldn't put your mother is law in there STAY AWAY.

Hotel staff extremely helpful and very friendly, lovely clean room with en-suite, no complaints whatsoever, would definitely stay their again, Thank you all for a lovely stay xx.

Rubbish customer service no breakfast on first morning waited in the dining area for over an hour for any of the staff to show up when they did come the put bowls out & no cereal milk tasted gone off & cold boiled eggs ended up paying for breakfast in a cafe no apology from staff, room was dirty bathroom was dirty the place needs to be shut down booked in for a week left after two nights would never recommend staying there.

Avoid! There is NOTHING good about this hotel! It's a horrible hell hole! I believe it should be updated or closed down. I didn't dare shower there as the shower was rotten! Wish I had read the reviews before booking this hotel. I had a family room and it wasn't a family room at all, we had one double bed and a single bed for two adults and two kids… shocking! It looks nothing like the pictures I saw at all! I wish I could add the real pictures on here as I would. The bed sheets were clean but smelt so bad! As soon as we woke up (after not much sleep) we got out of there as quick as we could. If I had the money I would have found another hotel. I even heard a few other guests say they would never stay there again. AVOID AT ALL TIMES! Worst hotel I've ever stayed it and will never return!

If I could rate it 0 stars I would… The rooms smelt… the building needs to be refurbished. Cleanliness was a big problem. There was fuzzy mold in the ceiling, the shower has not been cleaned and evidence of the last occupier in there. Same with the sink and toilet. The breckfast was ridiculous there were to many people so no room to sit & eat. The beds had clean bedding but under covers was not nice. Would recommend no-one stays here.

Needs a total upgrade. Holes in walls damp smell rooms very basic not worth the money. Breakfast wasnt up to much. Wouldnt go back at all could have went to hotels all around cheaper and better value for money. Staff worked hard for there money and where friendly.

Great location, rooms basic but well worth the money. Continental breakfast is provided but for £3 a full English is available Clean hotel, my room even had a lovely tower view, car park was a small 10 minutes walk but only £15 for 4 days (york road) and staff are very helpful and informative, and the hotel bar extremely cheap. Great for family's and couples alike as there is two large pool tables and seating areas. Very open to guest bringing own food into the bar area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap centrally located hotel close to all attractions.

Very Basic but clean rooms just big enough for double bed, single wardrobe and small desk. Bathroom was the same small but clean. Breakfast was to be expected good service prompt and polite overall nice basic hotel downfall No Parking. Nearest carpark 10min walk away £5.00 12 hrs £9.00 24hrs.

U only get whay you pay for £25 for two of us cant complain.
