Heather Lea Guest Rooms Hotel

I stayed for 1 night at The Heather Lea and I couldn’t have wished for a more comfortable stay. Tina is lovely and very kindly enabled me to check in early following a text conversation disclosing my arrival times.
The room was spotlessly clean with fluffy towels which smelled of Lenor 😍😍
Although there is no cooked breakfast option, Tina makes up a cute little breakfast bag containing a carton of juice, some biscuits and a cereal bar. There is a lovely cafe over the road called Cafe 47 which delivered delicious menu options at a very reasonable price.
I would highly recommend the Heather Lea and will definitely book again!

Booked for our friends coming to visit us. They thought it was lovely, clean and very friendly! They even gave their son a birthday card as he was celebrating his birthday. A lovely touch! Thank you.

We spent 2 nights in the family room on the top floor. What a lovely guest house, spotlessly clean room. The children slept in an adjoining room in a red double decker bus bed, which was fantastically decorated and had toys for them to play with. They were thrilled to bits and didn’t want to come home! The owner was so friendly, she went out of her way to make us feel welcome, there was lots of nice little extra touches in the room as well. The guesthouse is a couple of minutes walk from a Tram stop into the Town centre with a bus stop also nearby. We had a discounted breakfast in Cafe 47 a few doors away, which was fantastic and was great idea. Thank you for a lovely stay. We look forward to coming back again.

Nice clean but single bedroom was to small no shower go down corridor not acceptable for me.

Had a lovely weekend celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday. Got back yesterday. We loved our rooms spotlessly clean and tidy had everything you needed for your stay. Wish we had been able to stay another night. The ladies were lovely very helpful and welcoming. Bit of a walk down to the main attractions/ centre but we were lucky with the weather and you can always get a tram.

Fab, lovely lady owner, food (breakfast) not brill but ok the waiter was well fit … lol.

We've just had a lovely nights stay in heather lea. The room was nicely decorated and lovely and clean. Our boys loved the bus bunk bed.

Just got back after staying two nights at Heather Lea which has a lovely hostess who was very welcoming and down to earth, the room was clean, comfortable and warm and a good size for a family, a lovely cooked english breakfast in the morning after a bowl of cereal is just what you need to kick off your day, would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning, thank you Tina for a lovely stay.

Really comfy stay, friendly hostess who cooks a great breakfast. Good value, highly recommended. I will be returning!

Stayed in late Aug 2008. Easy booking, lovely welcome, let us park in the backyard, good room, good food. Booking again in 2009, and they remembered us.
