One of the best places to stay nothing is to much trouble very friendly owner would recommend everyone to give this place a try.

Very clean rooms and communal areas. Nicely decorative features. Impressed by the warm TV lounge, nice touches to TV lounge and bedrooms. Booked again for September. Highly recommended to all who are wanting a lovely place with friendly and helpful owner.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL… I had a booking with this hotel since February for August they emailed me saying they had overbooked (even tho a friend who booked in march still had hers) I tried repeatedly to ring them only to have my call rejected! Rang them from another number and surprise… He answered my call! Tried to give me a single room (two ppl) saying that all he had left blaming booking. Com, Rang booking. Com complaint dept, they said hed had specified he had more rooms than he had! If his attitude was more pleasant on the phone I wouldn't have wrote the email but it was disgusting the way he spoke to me on the phone. Shameful way to run a business.

Lovely people thst run it. Breakfast tasty. Not expensive.

Great place, the owners go the extra mile and help with anything they can.

Absolutely beautiful owners were very friendly and directed us to the local wetherspoons for breakfast definitely would recommend and will stay here again.

Stayed at the lovely Oban House for 2 nights over the Easter Weekend. Lovely hotel, rooms are cosy and the manager is lovely! The breakfast was great too!

Friendly hosts, lovely comfortable bed & very clean. Hosts can't do enough for you. No breakfast offered but directed to great cafe around the corner. Highly recommended.

Family run hotel absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Nothing is too much trouble rooms are really good and the food is all made fresh everyday and is really tasty. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again.

Trafford Social Club Ex-Service Veterans Branch We stayed at the this hotel from Friday 23rd June until Monday 26th June what a warm and wonderful welcome we got on arrival brian and slvia were warming and welcoming the hotel room was excellent and the food was out of this world nothing seemed to be any trouble for this lovly couple they provided a frre mini bus pick up and return journey from home to the hotel and then from the hotel back home they even took us in the mini bus to the norbreck for the gala dinner on the Friday evening then took us to the cenotaph on the sunday morning we have booked again for next year but all I can say is check this hotel out for your selves you will be pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome and the way they look after you once again what a beauty full and warm inviting hotel this is I know at the top of this page there is only five stars but this is definatly worth a lot more stars so once again brian and Sylvia thank you for a wonderful stay and we will see you next year all being well regards Steve Carl Bob Mark Nora Trafford Social Club Ex-Service Veterans Branch 68 Derbyshire Lane Stretford Manchester.

Only stayed one night but the lovely couple of ladies couldnt have been more accomodating. Nice room great breakfast. Felt like we had too new members of our family when we left lovely lovely girls xxx We will be back xx.

Lovely welcome, made to feel very at home. Will be back again for a longer stay this time, sorry I had to leave early had work issues.

The owners are horrible people, just had the owner shouting down the phone at me, after finding out they are trying to CON people and take extra money, well all I can say is that the buisness is going to be in trouble when a complaint is going in, and their name will be mud after i've finished, Great customer service NOT! ALL THEY DO IS SHOUT AT YOU AND GET EVERY PENNY FROM YOU POSSIBLE.
