Fantastic place, very friendly owner, excellent location.
A quaint luxurious guest house at the bottom of castle hill close to the ferry port in Dover. We stayed in the Georgian Room which boasts a king size four poster bed. A very clean and comfortable room overlooking the main road to the city centre and the ferry. That's negative as well positive. The negative is that we had to queue in ferry traffic for about 20 minutes to reach the house. The positives are it is a 15 minute walk from Dover Castle and only a 5 minute walk from the city centre. This means the availability of eateries is within walking distance. In fact, the White Horse Inn in which we ate is only next door. This Inn is popular with channel swimmers and has their details written on the walls and ceiling. Tip, it's very popular so try and eat early. It has car parking which is small and on a first come first served basis. It serves continental breakfast as part of the room price which is very reasonable and nice. All in all a very nice comfortable stay.

This quaint little bed and breakfast is a short taxi ride from the ferry and an easy walking distance to Dover Castle and to many shops and restaurants. It was a little longer of a walk to the train station but we managed even with our suitcases. Our family of four stayed here for 2 nights in the summer of 2017. Even with our late arrival, the owner was very friendly and helpful. It was a couple of flights of stairs up to our room but the room itself was spacious enough for all of us and our luggage. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty and offered suitable variety. I would definitely stay here again if I ever revisit Dover. Thanks Hubert House!
