Afternoon Tea, A good selection of sandwiches, scones were delish and desserts were lovely, plenty of tea and coffee. Server was accommodating and very helpful, would return x.

Absolutely disgusted with leaf hotels, booked a Christmas do party and we’re put in the restaurant. Still had to pay £35. What a joke. Dance floor gaffer taped fo the floor, only four other tables. Portions were tiny — maybe for the borrowers? DJ looks as if he is going to fall asleep any minute, only himself taking selfies that’s keeping him awake. Still waiting for our table to be called up for the carvery that’s been there since we arrived in the building (2 hours ago)! It’s a shame that we have had minimal food that’s not enough to fill us up in our mile to the bar. As for the queue around the poor table to the buffet £35 for what?! Wine that tastes like cats urine, unacceptable xx.

Arrived in the early hours of the morning, easy to check in with very friendly staff.

Fantastic wedding venue & wedding planners. Fantastic day from start of arrival at hotel until leaving. Highly recommend. Lots of little extra touches to complement the day.

Dirty, broken, tired rooms. Arrived to the smell of a used toilet — found dirty nappies behind the main door which my husband promptly delivered to reception but with no apology from the Leaf team! This was then followed by awful service in the restaurant too! First we had wine dumped on our table — no service despite the price tag. Then an inedible starter — with no apology! If you need anything you have to search for staff. This was all followed by a bill that overcharged us. We then returned to a room with no air-con (which was detailed within our booking description) instead we were greeted with a broken fan, a broken sharp shower button (resulting in the bath and shower dribbling water at the same time! ) and this was all topped off with a loose bathroom rail and dirty surfaces. An accident waiting to happen! The TV was also constantly green/yellow which would be fine in a budget hotel but that’s not what we paid for! Really disappointed! On leaving we decided we would bring all of these issues up but nobody asked us how our stay was or would give us the time of day, they avoided eye contact — clearly seeing we were unhappy! Absolutely disgusted. What a waste of money which could have been better spent on our family holiday. To add insult to injury our car was damaged in their car park. I wouldn’t usually leave such a negative review but I am so appalled by the lack of customer service that it needs to be said. Avoid!

We had our Easter Sunday Roast here to celebrate a birthday and anniversary too. The food was absolutely amazing, the service was fantastic and the organised egg hunt and visit from the Easter Bunny was great fun. Thank you all for making it a special day, keep up the good work.

Staff were great which is why I would recommend. Food was nice but rooms dated, Windows not too sound proof as it was windy and it was really loud from inside. Both daughters fine on arrival at 3pm but sick through the night (could be coincidence but neither are sick often). Only 3 plugs in the whole family room, 2 used by a t. V. And Arial leaving 1 for chargers, fan (crazy hot and not air conditioning). Reception did bring an extension on request but 1 spare plug for a family of 4 is crazy. Beds were a good size, 2 doubles in a family but bed and pillows really hard — I like a firm mattress but this was solid. Fan in the toilet of room 263 is so loud you can't leave light on as a night light etc and it woke us all up through the night when anyone went to the toilet.

Attended an afternoon course. The reception staff were pleasant & helpful. The building Wes clean & tidy. Very nice venue.

Two of the lamps was burn. The walls had stains and dirty marks and the bathroom was dirty with lots of long black hair also the ceiling was moldy. For the breakfast — the bacon was very hard impossible to chew and the crumble eggs was not crumble. They swim in water and no taste on them. Also I had to wait for check-in at the hotel because the girl was gone. About 5 minutes later she went out with full mouth. She was eating… Also at night time I went for drink on the bar and there I had to wait 5 minutes for the bartender who clean the tables. For the 4 stars hotel I expect more good service…

Great to have a wedding at. Although the toast master seemed to shout out and compare to a traditional wedding what wasn’t happening (speeches etc) when she really did not need too. Food was great, DJ was great, drink prices were a bit high, and no free anniversary tea which was advertised.

The service is laid back indeed. So much so that you sometimes struggle to find staff. No air conditioning in the room. Only an old squeky fan. Hot weather meant a very poor nights sleep on top of a comfy bed. Breakfast was average & the staff could not keep it stocked. £ 142 a night. Expected better.

It's excellent. We use it whenever we can when catching the ferry. The rooms are much like any hotel in a chain, the breakfast and dinner are both first class. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotels position makes it very convenient for the docks.

Pretty rubbish really. We booked as an overnight before Dover ferry the next morning. There was a wedding on with a disco and thumping bass until midnight (was a Fri night). We needed to be up at four so this was really far from ideal as we could hear the music in our room very loudly even with windows shut. The bed was really uncomfortable and the room had no air conditioning just a ropey old fan. The room was really tired looking with stains on the carpet, furniture and bedding… There was a caterpillar on the towels! I definitely would not return — really poor sleep and at £100+ a night it is definitely not worth it.

Thank you to all at the Ramada for making our daughter and son in laws wedding day so special, the staff were so polite and helpful to, the food was outstanding and the breakfast was great to. The whole wedding day was superb and the night time was just as good, such a lovely place and the out side wedding was lovely, great photo's were taken there, looked amazing, thank you from all our family.

Great location. Very good service. The hotel and the rooms very clean. But the rooms need to be renovated again.

Had high expectations of this hotel, but badly let down by the quality of the room. Apparently they have some refurbished rooms and some older rooms; I got an old one and it was not good. The breakfast was very nice and the staff where very friendly but I won't be staying here again unless all their rooms are refurbished.

Great disapointment. The receptionst screw up everything she could. We had a reservation of two single rooms (already paid) made by the third part. At first she wanted to pay it again because she wasn't able to find the payment. Solved. But we received just one shared room. We showed her a confirmation letter about booking of two separate rooms but she didn't care. And than she wanted to register a credit card due the minibar that wasn't in the room. Rejected. To make long story short: room wasn't cleaned during the next day, ants in the room and equipment heavily worn at the edges. Update: +1 star for good breakfast.

Although it's a Ramada Hotel it is actually part of the Leaf hotel franchise and personally it needs updating. I found that premier Inn is probably a better room quality than here. Disappointed for the price…

Very pleasant hotel, smart room, clean. The hotel is set back from the road in a quiet corner. Nice landscaping. All the rooms are on the ground floor, so no noise from a room above.

Very nice staff. Walls a bit thin since we could hear the family next to us at 4am. Bar and staff very friendly.

Had my daughter’s wedding reception party for over 400 people on 17 Mar 18. Excellent service, delicious foods, staffs are very helpful and readily available when needed. Thank you.

"Olive Tree" chain restaurant. Food wasn't bad. Nicer venue than the other hotel-gastro-pubs in Dover. Will go again.

Location from ferry — ideal
Welcome — No one to be seen on arrival, after 10mins went searching for staff (one of which had already walked straight past)
Room — had to change 1st one, smelt awful & was unbearable.
2nd Room — (family room) smelt better, clean. Valances hanging off beds & just made it look messy, bathroom shower broken & floor soaked from leak before we’d even used it. Generally rooms ready for overhaul. Lock on room door broken, chain gone.
Sleep — party on so loud guests throughout night, thin walls with joining doors.
Breakfast — all good (except bacon tasted like it been there all day)
Check out — friendly & helpful, took on board maintenance comments & offered us complimentary coffees for our journey.

A regular stop over for us, and the staff are always friendly and remember their regular customers. Food in the bar and restaurant is good, and breakfast is also varied. Despite it being next to the A2/M2 it's nice and quiet, and I get a good night's sleep. Rooms could do with an update, as the decor is not contemporary, but it's a minor quibble, as they're clean and tidy.

Very quiet hotel and a lot of discretion.

Clean and elegant environment, friendlier staff, generous and tasty breakfast. The room was clean and very convenient. The only flaw was that the hair dryer was sending totally cold air.

We had the unfortunate experience of having Christmas lunch here. We had booked earlier in the year with the expectation of having Christmas lunch in a restaurant. When we arrived and bought a round of drinks at the extortionate price of £16.16 for 1 pint of beer, 1 glass of wine and 2 diet cokes, we were hearded into a marquee. This was not explained at time of booking as having an autistic child with us, we would not have booked here. The food was all set out on a buffet table which was a free for all with 220 other guests. The Ramada had packed way too many people in the marquee and many of the poor families had hundreds of people squeezing between tables to get back with their food. The handful of staff they did have to clear tables were not keeping up with clearing tables for so many guests. Plates were being stacked on the floor so people could get their next course. The whole experience was poor and it was quite obvious the Ramada were out to make as much money as possible rather than cater properly for the guests. On the plus side the food was nice. Overall very very poor.

Great customer service! Very friendly and the room was great. Comfortable bed & free tea/coffee facilities. Though, our bathroom has some mould on the roof. Also, we had some very loud neighbours, who didn't really care about people trying to sleep. I know the hotel can't really do anything about it, and that wasn't their fault but it may just give you an idea of what the hotel is like…

We held our annual group Sunday lunch here for the second year in succession, and have also eaten as a couple. There were no complaints. The restaurant is very popular as the carvery provides a selection of meats and comprehensive choice of vegetables. Starters and desserts also provide a varied assortment to choose from. Good car parking.

We had never been there before so we were a little apprehensive about dining in a hotel. We had a wonderful three course meal, cooked to perfection. The portions were generous and beautifully laid out on the plates. Apart from the food (and the decor) the other high point of the evening was the excellent service — very friendly and most efficient. We will definitely be returning!

Well located. Slightly expensive. Not quite as clean as expected.

4 star it was not. The food was under cooked. The sink unit was falling off the wall. Otherwise fine. Nice staff very welcoming and good sound proofing. Very clean.

Very friendly staff. Had my husband's birthday dinner with my family on 17th October. We had our table decorated beautifully with some glitters. Food served hot and very delicious. Will definitely go back again. Restaurant very very clean. Staff very smart. Keep it up.

Located about 6 kms. From the center of Dover and so many of the famous cliffs.
Magnificent and spacious building, with painstaking care and cleanliness.
Professional reception staff and very responsive when it comes to communicating. Even if you don't speak English, they're willing to understand you.
It deserves to highlight its clean and spacious rooms. How curious of them you have to mention the two extra large marriage beds there are. After observing others we realized that all the rooms had them. In our case, being only the marriage, one of them was leftover. Ideal If the couple is angry.
Breakfast buffet is really excellent.
A huge parking that despite it, Fridays as you arrive in the afternoon you will not find a place to leave the car.
In our case we got past 9pm and after a lot of laps, I had to wait in double row until after 23, 30h in which the public of a dinner with show, not if it was a wedding of which are held there, the audience started to leave.
Ideal also if you want to visit the medieval city of Canterbury distant just 25 miles.
It is also a great place if you want to embark on a ferry in the direction of France.
No doubt next year we will return.

Decent enough rooms with a very nice breakfast service.

Nice standard hotel for this rating. The food was good and the staff friendly. Had to move rooms as mine was not cleaned after the 2nd Night, I had been working in the room during the morning so had the do not disturb sign up. I changed the to please make up the room at 1200 but returned at 1600 to find the room untouched and was advised the cleaning staff had left, hence was moved to another room. Other than that a pleasant stay.

Very pleasant overnighter. Will definitely look again next time we are in Dover. Also really handy for the port.

We turned up as a party of 7 without a lunch reservation on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant seemed to be near closing, but they accommodated us. The food was very tasty. The chef took time to cook us fresh steak, which was perfectly well done. The staff didn't rush us, they allowed us to take our time, eat and enjoy. Our Sunday afternoon with each other. We're sure glad we located this hidden gem. We'll be back, maybe for an overnight stay next time.

Well signposted easy to find. Perfect privacy yet all the facilities. We were greeted in style by Stella the front of house person and allocated a room with a wet room so bathing became a pleasure for a disabled person. Lovely room great sleep comfort mattress. Adjacent to restaurant and bar. Sat in restaurant a bit worried as it seemed everyone in there had ordered at same time. Great service and in no time we were eating a Hunter chicken roas-t beady eyes had spotted apple crumble cheesecake-two desserts in one! Then next morning the breakfast buffet with a trad English breakfast sublime. We left without eating Easter eggs.!

Rooms need of updating, and a new set of cleaning staff, filthy carpets, dust and mould on walls, cobwebs, half a toilet roll, between three of us, pillows hard as rock, pillow cases grubby, over charged, other people in our party paid the same but with breakfast, they wanted another £12 each for that, who pays £12 for breakfast! Drinks at bar overcharged, all around a rip off

Oh another thing, when we got there, all room had no hot water, went in room to use loo, manager knocked saying please come out of room, trouble with water! Are you having a laugh! We deserved a refund, never again.

Decent rooms, no air conditioning though. Shower a bit weak. Good restaurant and good breakfast. Local shops just a short walk.

Was cold in the marquee! Otherwise nice venue for the coroners court study session attended.

Our stay at the Ramada was for one night and overall very pleasant. Good service and value, room was clean and had all the facilities. There was a slight hiccup with the room card but was soon resolved. We also dined at the in house restaurant, three course dinner. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. There was also amole parking. Whilst the location isn't quite in Dover, the white cliffs were a 10 minute drive. Wouldn't hesitate in returning to the Ramada or recommending.

Very pleasant hotel a little out of Dover but very handy for the Eurotunnel. Rooms are nice if in the need of a little TLC. Very helpful staff.

A bit far from the center but still a very nice place to stay.

Good price-performance ratio and clean rooms. Nice facility and good access to Canterbury and London (High Speed Train from Dover Priory). The only drawback: reliability of the staff. Offer of the Receptionist on the Taxi order, none was there. Also, it has been forgotten the Breakfast to book, and then it was instead of 1 × 3 3 × 3 billed incorrectly, which fortunately, I immediately noticed it had. If you do those things yourself in the hands of a good Hotel.

Good clean Hotel, very good value for money. 10 minutes from the Port of Dover.

We stayed there two years ago, three days and we will go back in may for four days.
The reception was very friendly and super helpful staff.
The Hotel is very clean and the breakfast english to fall.
In short, a great base for visiting the KENT.

One of the best restaurants in town.
