A very nice friendly and quirky hotel in an excellent location.
Sea views a must.
Rooms were ok but the hotel is run by con artists. Booked a double room for 1 night but was later secretly charged £40 for an ‘extra person’ even though we were only 2 people. When we challenged the charge we were told it was for extra ‘bedding’ costs. Basically £40 for a towel we didn’t even need. Staff were rude and unreasonable Ignore the lies in the response below. I was never informed about any charges. I only discovered the extra charge on the company credit card after my stay. Room was setup for 2. Booked a twin/double not a single, not sure how 2 people in a twin room can justify an extra 40%, we didn’t even get breakfast. Plenty of lovely hotels in Cowes with lovely staff DO NOT STAY HERE.
