Slow service waiting over an hour for food. Kids burger came with cheese when asked without, jacket potato was only just warm when arrived at the table and other meals were not up to a high standard. Also waited a long time for drinks to arrive and for order to be taken.

Booked a large group for breakfast and it was delicious! The staff were really attentive even though very busy as the restaurant was full. Thank you for accommodating us!

We love it so much we're getting married here! such a gorgeous spot. Staff are so friendly and food is amazing. We've stayed here too and the rooms are really nice. They have recently been updated too. They have a funky new coffee shop area and recently got a play bus for the kiddos. Great all round for everyone!

Love everything at Inn on the Wye and have stayed a few times. Perfect location to explore this beautiful part of the Wye Valley. Comfy rooms, lovely food, delicious wines and local beer, are all enhanced by staff who couldn't be more welcoming or helpful. Special shout out to Adrian who goes above and beyond to ensure guests are happy. And we can bring our dog too, what's not to like? Looking forward to our next stay.

Just returned home from a night away at the Inn on the Wye. The food was absolutely amazing. 10/10 for the Mac n Cheese chef 👍🏼. Breakfast was just enough to keep you going for the day, poached egg cooked to perfection. Lovely friendly staff who made us feel very welcome & couldn’t do enough to for us. I’d highly recommend the hotel for value for money. We hope to come back one day.

Lovely staff and food and great place to stay for local walks. Our dog who can be sometimes so nervous with people felt at home with the staff, who are dog friendly. All food and drinks good price with great service all time. Would stay again.

This is just a brilliant place to stay. The food is great, the acomdation is very comfortable and the staff are wonderful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We’ve stayed here many times now as fisherman and it never disappoints. We’ll be back!

Just picked up a food box and really pleased with it — great variety of fresh fruit and veg and staple items. Really easy and efficient to deal with. Message, they ring you back and take your order (with any amendments), pay over the phone and then collect at your allotted time, totally contact free. Will be ordering again, thanks.

Just had an amazing takeaway from the Inn on the Wye! It was really yummy and they couldn't do enough to help us get a lovely meal during these difficult times. Thank you so much and please make use of these wonderful, local facilities!

Where do I start, we have had a fantastic weekend, fully looked after by all the staff, they were all so friendly. Food was beautiful and present well. We had a chalet out the back and it was warm, clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. A wonderful experience and have loved it so much we will be back xxx.

We stayed in the chalet rooms. Although our room was tired and in need of a lick of paint, the room was very clean, bed was comfortable and shower lovely and hot. We ate and had drinks at the inn on the evening of our arrival. Drinks and food price on par with most pub/restaurants. Sunday lunch was lovely. Breakfast was very good and tasty. The staff at the inn are fab, friendly and professional.

Awful food, barely cooked and cold when it arrived. Really extortionate prices for shoddy undercooked meals! Pretty much needed an axe to cut our vegetables! 100% wouldn’t recommend or return.

We’re up from Cornwall on our honeymoon and found this pub by chance when visiting the River Wye.
Both the food and service was 10/10. Staff were very friendly and saw to our every need, the food came out very quickly and was hot and really tasty!
Well done guys, if we’re ever up this way again we’ll definitely pop in.

We had our wedding reception at the inn on the wye and we truly had the most amazing time. The whole weekend was fantastic. Denise was so helpful from the start and she did an amazing job to ensure we had the best time. We cannot thank all the staff enough for all their hard work. Would highly recommend.

Open and friendly so much so you feel you have known the staff a while, Excellent food and if that's not enough for you there's real ale and real coffee all in a picturesque place a stones throw from all sorts of interests (a well preserved castle and a cave system that's been used for filming)

We stayed for one night, we booked a room with a four poster (as we were child free for the night) the room was very cold upon our arrival but we popped the radiators on, bed was uncomfortable and bathroom is in need of an upgrade but it was clean, being picky now but the plastic cups really let it down. We had dinner I the restaurant which was lovely and value for money the breakfast was also good. There's a cosy bar area with comfy sofas and log burner where we enjoyed a drink after dinner. Staff were great. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

If I was to review the staff only it would be a full on 5 stars as they were great during our visit. However we spent a night in room 6. It was nice although the mattress is not the best but a very nice 4 poster bed. Unfortunatly although the room had been cleaned to a high standard the hand towel had a stain on it that looked like another guest had wiped their fake tan on it. The shower door is temperamental and very worn out, the light in the bath room and the TV did not w…ork and there was mould and slime in the shower cubical. The cubical it’s self is built a long way up off the floor and as there is a rubber mat in the cubical it blocks the plug hole so that does not drain correctly and water leaks onto the step so that gets slippy. There is also only one catch plate on the window in that room so it’s not possible to seal out all the road noise. It’s a shame really because the lovely old building is in a lovely spot but is a bit rough around the edges. The steps from the car park are dangerously narrow and steep. However we had some very nice fresh kippers and eggs for breakfast and there was plenty of nice yoghurt, cereal, toast and orange juice. The evening meal was also nice if a little basic however the grill spoilt the taste of the nice gammon making it smokey and oily tasting. My wife’s white bait was very dark and crispy. The portions size was very good though. We’re certain we were give UHT milk with the breakfast Tea.

We cannot recommend this wonderful venue enough. A fabulous day was had by all and well certainly never forget it.
