Stay was ok. Food good. Awful service one night. Took 30 minutes to remove out plates ready for desert. My colleague found his toilet full of tissue and blood when he arrived back after work. They gave him a beer and basically called him a liar. Awful customer service. Fairly disgusted actually.

Everyone was fantastic, cheerful and helpful staff. Kath in the dining room was a real Wigan girl, bubbly and friendly, and like "the girl next door" — she was amazing. All the staff made us very comfortable, and as with Premier in Hull North, everything was exceptional.

The stay was pleasant comfy rooms and nice bathrooms etc but the staff where not overally help and the breakfast wasn't what I was expecting just bacon sausage and egg. That isn't a full breakfast advertised. Just rubbish.

I have spent 5 weeks in the premier inn wigan town centre while completing my training. Staff have been fantastic, friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Room is comfortable, always have a good sleep, & enjoy the meals provided. However the air conditioning is terrible. Great if you like a chilled room, but the fixed temperature is not high enough. I have another booking with Premier Inn this month at Caernafon with my family. I have advised them to take warm clothing when we stop overnight. This is a big issue which needs addressing.

Clean and tidy but poor Wi-Fi, so bear that in mind. Even upgraded to Premium Wi-Fi for £5 not worth it at this hotel. Food is OK but they had ran out of at least 50% off all food on there. Room was located above the bins but windows not able to open so couldn't smell anything. But I do like a choice of windows to open.

Cool staff but the coffee machine kept running out of milk, come on?

Nice rooms and comfy beds. Close to the centre. Good breakfast. Can't complain.

Limited free hotel parking but plenty of paid parking nearby. Slowest restaurant I've ever experienced in any Premier Inn. Even with virtually nobody sat at tables you have to wait in the bar for a restaurant table. Monday 1 hour 40 minutes Tuesday 1 hour 20 minutes — let's see what tonight brings!

Premier inn has the reception assistance! I'm quite proud to rate it a 10 out of 5 very kind and respectful. Most helpful to be honest the best response and polite manner.

Great hotel for the price. Basic but classy. Clean comfortable and good food. Worth every penny.

It was really easy to find! Very clean staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I live in wigan and had friends staying over in this hotel. After a night out in wigan I found myself locked out of my house. I went back to the hotel to try and book a room. It was full so I asked if I could pay to join them in their room. I was told this was a fire hazard. The girl then gave me a blanket to sleep in the back of my friends car! I hope this hotel feel proud of this achievement!

Nice and clean… Staff are very friendly, great location… Beds are so comfy! … Clean linen and towels. Bathrooms are nice. Only downfall is windows in rooms don't open .

Overnight stay with large school group. Boys all had a great stay. Check in handled well, staff really helpfull. Rooms usual high standard and overall really pleased. Will stay again.

Usual Premier Inn-standard rooms and layout. Breakfast well cooked and served, staff friendly and attentive going the extra mile to help.

This Premier Inn is like Any other premier inn. Rooms are clean and tidy. Staff are reasonably friendly, although I've stayed in other premier inns that have much friendlier staff. They have the Tyme Restaurant, which is good and have to say the salmon was very good. Breakfast is standard like Any other premier inn.

Stayed here for 4 nights 23/27 10 2017 fantastic staff loverly food in restaurant room spotless could not fault it was well looked after.

If you've been to a Premier Inn recently, this hotel is more or less the same as any other one of those. However, I noticed a few changes from the last time I visited one about a year ago, both positives (for the customers) : 1. Wi-Fi has been changed from 30 minutes free access to unlimited free access plus an optional, allegedly faster network which will cost you £5 for 24 hours — though the free network is fine for almost anything. 2. They've added tablet-things to reception to speed-up check in. They're surprisingly easy to use, but I can't help thinking they probably lead to hotel employees losing their jobs… Anyway, it's a nice hotel in a good location (lots of shops and nice restaurants walking distance), which its own free car park! It's a bit too small, but there are 2 other cheap car parks literally 20 metres from the hotel. Our room was alright, but the window could not be opened and I don't like the beds much. Size-wise it was a little bigger than expected given the location and price, and luckily there were two children's beds rather than a double, which you seem to get far too much in hotels nowadays. Anyway, everything seemed clean and was mostly functional, if not quite as well as we hoped (TV won't go very loud, aircon didn't seem to be doing the right temperature). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and all were Brits who seemed quite happy.

Its good place to stay and breakfast is good and the rooms are clean and tidy and the beds are cuffy.

Great hotel, location from town centre superb, room clean and had great nights sleep. Would highly recommend.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed. Daily room cleaning was also great. Like having a fresh room everyday.

Reception staff on check in were very nice. Fire alarm went off at 6.30am Sunday morning, got up and maid our way to fire exit not happy that people were able to use lifts to get down to reception as they should of been disabled (especially after grenfell towers) no phones in rooms to check. Turned out ground floor zone set alarm off. Which is kitchen or reception. (burnt toast I bet) Not good Premier Inn.

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the stay was real value for money.

Bed bugs in my bed, hardly any staff, limited cleaning done, chewing gum stuck to my windowsill for 3 days off previous occupant. Put a complaint in and Premier haven't even gotten back to me. If you like sharing your bed you'll be fine.

Excellent rooms air conditioning in room. Really friendly and welcoming staff they were more than happy to help us. Definitely recommend an would definitely use it again.

Perfect for an overnight stay. Right in the centre of town. Clean. Friendly staff.

Location near town centre and transport (rail/bus). Restaurant reasonably priced. Bed very comfortable. Even though near main road room was quiet. No disturbance from other guests. Warm welcome from staff. Excellent for solo traveller/overnight stay.

Stayed here to break up a long journey. I've stayed in various premier Inn's, and I keep returning as they have really comfy beds, clean rooms, great service and a decent breakfast. Always worth the money too, if you make sure you book well in advance.

Very good service and amazing bed. Even though the hotel is right next to a busy road there was hardly any noise.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was excellent too. Only slightly disappointing aspect was the breakfast which could be improved a bit.

I counted 6 plug sockets, Travelodge could learn a thing or two. Overall, a pleasant experience — the shower was a bit weak, but not the end of the world. We had two rooms booked, the hotel decided to put a noisy family between our rooms — I don't understand why families with children aren't placed in the same area of the hotel. A quick call to reception, the staff member they came and asked the children to be quiet — I can't fault them for that. I can't blame the hotel for the childrens parents dumping the kids, and heading to the restaurant. Shame the restaurant didn't have a proper bar, alcohol was sold from bottles in a fridge.

Great staff, amazing rooms and a great brekfast for all. A great value for money.
