Perfect in every way possible, can’t find a bad thing to say. Very very clean, room was well thought out & comfortable. As it was booked for my partners birthday the hotel arranged a selection of sweet treats and a bottle of champagne on ice on arrival for that little extra welcome & wow. One down side was the pool was down for maintainable when we visited so we was unable to use it. As this was one of the main reasons we visited, the hotel offered for us to have breakfast as compensation which was delicious and well presented. We will defiantly be back to use the spa and pool in the future.

Room was absolutely gorgeous, every detail thought of.
The pool was disappointing however, our time was 9.40pm and the pool wasn't warm enough for conteract the cold night air. Also the 3 out of 4 of the bubbles and waterfall did not work.

Brilliant hotel service exceptional & afternoon tea best I have ever tasted. Roof terrace had a spectacular backdrop & weather was perfect.

Another great visit to a fantastic hotel! Great service, clean clean well kept rooms! Plenty of space! Nice choice in the minibar also! Very central to visit shops and restaurants also!

Very helpful staff on arrival, super friendly. Dropped out bags off early and were in our room for check in. Relaxed atmosphere.

Just had Christmas dinner here and was fantastic. Plus amazing and friendly service from all the staff.

Impeccable experience. Everything was just right. I wish we could have stayed longer. Not inexpensive and certainly doesn't feel it. Do check out the spa. Quite unique.

A very enjoyable stay at the hotel.
The rooms are well equipped and the bathrooms are amazing. My only issue was the staffs use of the elevator. If there isnt a service elevator, there needs to be.

Hotel is always very clean. Rooms are very comfortable. Infinity pool is a great feature.
No parking on site however the hotel provides 25% discount for the nearby 24/7 car park.

Food fantastic Atmosphere chilled the Infinity pool was great staff lovely couldn't fault it my only 2 minor niggles the hand dryers in the loos are mediocre & the lift can be a long wait used the stairs most of the time overall 9.5 out if 10 would definitely come back highly recommended.

Wow, wow wow! They certainly know how to look after you here! We had our own private room with afternoon tea then our own cinema after. Very well looked after a great birthday treat and surprise. Will definitely return. Can’t wait.

Excellent hotel and was very impressed. Check in easy and very polite, room impressive with beautiful bath room and hotel amenities very good. Large spa bath means you’ll get the hit of pool chemicals but it’s necessary and sauna/steam comfortable. We only had breakfast but it was very good and the coffee was delicious. We’ll be staying next time we are in Manchester.

My friends brought me here for my 30th birthday and we were treated exceptionally. The staff were attentive and friendly and very welcoming. We were booked in for the gentleman’s afternoon tea and even though we were late they were still very accommodating. The gentleman’s afternoon tea was really filling and the gin based tea was delicious. A quirky and elegant place with a very retro modern feel. I would definitely come back!

Simply fabulous in every way a truly special place to stay. Food is also fantastic staid early 2018 sorry for the late review. We will be back.

A last minute find on our attempt at a lackadaisical vacation. We only stayed a night as we were on our way north, but I truly wished we'd had enough time to stay another. Everything was perfect. We even found parking right outside the main entrance. The room was splendid, with a very comfortable bed and inspiring shower. The lighting was dim in most areas, which some might take issue with, but we found relaxing. Would have loved to have had enough time for the infinity pool — which has an impressive view of the city. The only thing we can't comment on was the food, as we went out to eat (I recommend El Gato Negro a few blocks away).

Absolutely out of this world… stayed in the one bedroom luxury suite and was worth every penny. It was our anniversary and they catered to everything even got complimentary champagne, chocolates, spa goodies and gave us a late checkout free of charge. Cannot wait to stay here again.

We love all of the Eclectic hotels but have to say Kingstreet townhouse is just brilliant. The terrace was available to use during our stay this time and we sampled some of the new cocktails on their menu, which are great value for money, around £10-£11 for a cocktail made using fresh bespoke ingredients, and to be enjoyed in the wonderful setting over looking Albert square and the town hall. Our room was gorgeous, we had room 55 with beautiful king size bed and bath, again overlooking the town hall, breakfast was great, Monday’s should always start with a dip in the infinity pool too! Thanks again for a wonderful stay King street!

Great quality hotel and pub with their own unique style. The place reeks of class and sophistication. Service is great. You even get free salted popcorn to keep you thirsty.

Our second visit with both daughters and granddaughter celebrating belated Mothers Day on the 18th March 2018. Excellent selection of food for our afternoon tea, more than enough to eat and very fresh. A separate children's afternoon tea was available for my granddaughter. Our waiter was extremely helpful and he checked regularly for refills. We love to sit in the balcony area and our table was reserved. Definitely would recommend.

Myself and my girlfriend enjoyed a much needed date day and chose the King Street Townhouse as I'd heard great things about it. We were welcomed as we entered into the bar area and had our coats taken from us. We were then taken to our table for 2, which was perfectly situated in a quiet corner. We had an afternoon tea and gentleman's afternoon tea between us. Both were wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a couple of drinks with our food and finished with a coffee. After food we headed to the sixth floor south terrace to meet a couple of friends where we enjoyed a couple of cocktails whilst enjoying magnificent views of Manchester. We were heading into Manchester for the day after and it was the perfect setting to get the day started. I shall definitely be recommending the king Street Townhouse to friends and family. Wow just wow so many hidden treasures in this place so make sure you explore. Staff are great rooms are really nice especially the bathroom suites. Great location for some incredible food and drink too.

Very impressive hotel. Very nicely designed. Great staff. Amazing, but small, infinity pool and steam room. It even has an incredible cinema room in the basement you can hire.

Attended a fantastic wedding here recently. City centre location close to Chinatown, with some street parking out front. (They also have a few spaces of their own private parking. ) Staff and service were excellent and very accommodating to requests. Food was to a good standard and I particularly liked the terrace section on the sixth floor. Didn't stay the night so can't comment on the rooms but the decor of the establishment in general was high. The only negative for me is that there is one small lift and it takes an age if you have kids or have trouble with stairs. I didn't have to pay for the food so can't comment on the prices.

The staff are beyond accommodating and so friendly. The spa pool is amazing with an excellent view of the town hall. Can't wait to come again! Thank you x.

We stayed overnight in one of the beautiful suites. This has to be the best boutique hotel in Manchester at the moment. They've gor it just right. Don't forget to pack your swimming costume as the spa with rooftop infinity pool is perfect to kick off a romantic evening. We had dinner reservations elsewhere but breakfast of fresh fruit salad, pastries and sour dough with avocado, poached eggs and crispy bacon was suberb.

The location is great, views of the town hall are stunning. All staff were extremely nice as were the other guests. The place seemed to generate a feeling of wellbeing from everyone we came into contact with.

Had Christmas dinner here. Service was excellent. Food was awesome. Merry Christmas! 5 stars without question.

Stunning venue, with friendly staff in a warm cosy bar. We used the hotels under ground cinema which is breathtakingly beautiful. Highly recommended!

First class service from the moment my partner and I stepped in. We live I Manchester and was surprised that we have missed this little gem. Brought my partner for a one night stay and treatments at the spa for his birthday which he absolutely loved including the bath in the room and the infinity pool looking out over Manchester was something else! Staff went out of their way to help to make our stay the best experience, big shout out to Tom and Stan! So friendly and attentative making sure everything was sorted promptly. The room was second to none. Decor was spot on! We had stake and lamb Shank in the restaurant which was nice, we've had better but good for the price. Only thing I could think that would have made it better for us, was to have a movie set up in the cinema that they have converted in the cella. Which was the reason why I looked and found this hotel in the first place! Gives us an excuse to come back again now! see you soon hopefully.

Fabulous location, especially for the Christmas market. Walking distance to all the shops. Bedroom absolutely lovely, spa area perfect. Staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

What a brilliant venue. Amazing terrace with a brilliant view. Very high standard venue.

Only stayed here for a night but loved it. Junior suite was amazing, great decor, shelves of books by Hemingway, Wodehouse and others, comfy bef, bath tub in the room, lovely toiletries, 2 TV's, nespresso machine and nice teas. The staff are great and very good service. Gym and spa facilities and that infinity pool! Sixth floor terrace is great and breakfast was lovely as well. Will be back!

A beautiful building, comfortable rooms and very helpful, friendly staff. The beds were very comfortable and that's coming from someone who is very picky. The breakfast, while not included in the price, is good.

Really excellent "Gentlemen's Afternoon Tea" with a nice Jack cocktail. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and modern place, but the "tea" area was much smaller than I was expecting — perhaps book ahead, or for sure ensure you're sat in one of the small booths (there are only 1 or 2). I didn't see the upstairs lounge though, due to a private party.

I was excited to visit this luxury hotel as it has some great reviews. So I booked champagne afternoon tea on a warm Saturday afternoon. On arrival I was impressed with the decor and table settings. There was no air conditioning so it was pretty uncomfortable after a short time but we were served the food and champagne quickly but the waiting staff didn't check on us again for half an hour so I had to get up to go and ask for the tea. The sandwiches were ok but just the usual suspects of fillings and there were 5 sweets and the scone was like most these days and tasted of baking powder. Overall I was disappointed with the experience as did have high hopes for a 'luxury' hotel and it was sadly only average.

Attended an event here recently. The food was amazing and the staff were excellent. They even went out of their way to help by making a children's meal for my daughter even though it wasn't part of the food package. Would highly recommend.

Lovely after tea provided for a social event. Sandwiches were great variety and met all dietary requirements of our party. Slight wait for drinks refills but don't know how busy the rest of the hotel was. Really accommodating and wod definitely consider again for a social event in the future.

A very smart little place, and in the ascendant. The quality shines through, first in the staff, who are two cuts above average and exude a general contentment and pride. That's a good all-round sign. My room (right above the entrance) was attractive, comfortable and peaceful. The restaurant and bar showcase a talented kitchen and pleasant waiting staff. Two things to note; the pool is for bobbing about enjoying the views — it's *not* swimmable. Oh, and for anything lower than the 4th floor — walk. The tiny lift is too overused and slow to make the wait worthwhile. Standards are good here. I commend it.

Afternoon tea in the mezzanine bar. Beautiful decor and nice atmosphere, although it was a very quiet for a Sunday afternoon. Service was pretty good, if a little slow at times. However, the food was delicious and I would definitely return again for a proper meal and to have a relaxing afternoon for drinks in the bar area.

Amazing hotel ran by amazing staff. The rooms are great, the pool is the best I've ever been in. The staff put lots of thought into birthday additions for my girlfriend who I took there for the night. I'd specifically like to say how great the staff were. The young man on reception was always readily available and helpful, the two Allans in the tavern gave us the best service and food we had ever received from a restaurant and even brought out a sneaky cake when he found out it was my girlfriends birthday! — Thanks again. The only thing I would say to the hotel is that you really need to look into getting something under the treadmill in the gym to reduce the sound/vibrations that shake room 26 as me and my girlfriend had gone out for drinks the night before but were woken up by 30 minutes of continuous thudding at 9am which was driving us crazy : ( I would definitely return to this hotel without a second thought, the staff made it the best stay I've ever had in England. I went here with a group of X coleagues. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Megan who took our coats and showed us to our table. The afternoon tea I had was the gentleman's, why it has to be genderised I don't know, was delicious. We were also looked after extremely well by our waiter. The only thing that let the event down was the seating. I had difficulty getting down into and up out of the very low seats. They were also uncomfortable to sit in and eat leaving me a little disappointed with the afternoon. I did mention this on leaving, it was explained to me that we could when booking request a different seating area. Perhaps a note on your website or a mention when booking. We were asked about dietary requirements — perhaps mobility should also be included!

I dont drink but the people with me said drinks were way too expensive. Apart from that the views from the terrace over the skyline are spectacular. Good facilities, excellent hotel rooms.

There were four in our party for afternoon tea. One had been previously & couldn't recommend it highly enough. We have been to other 'select' establishments, but King St Townhouse topped the lot! We were made to feel welcome & Alan looked after us throughout the afternoon. The food was to die for. The service was second to none. Alan also gave us a tour of the 6th floor/ spa/ infinity pool & told us of the plans for the roof top level. We spent 4 hours having this extremely decadent treat & none of us wanted to leave. Alan made a fabulous afternoon, extra special. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

What amazing service. The staff could not do enough for us. They really made our wedding preparations so much easier, and really made a big fuss over us. We definitely plan on returning.

I went here before I was going to have an interview. I didn't have much time till the interview so I asked the waitress of there was anything on the menu that wouldn't take too long to cook. She kindly advised me that the chips on the side menu wouldn't take long at all for the cook to make. They had sweet potato chips on the menu, which I had been planning on making at home for a while, so I thought that it would be a good opportunity to see how they would taste if they were cooked properly. They came to my table fresh and piping hot, they taster great and were made to taste even better when they were paired with the bread that was delivered to the table initially. Friendly staff, great service and delicious food, I can't fault this restaurant. I will definitely be going again when I get the chance to have a full meal.
