Great atmosphere friendly attentive staff, drinks on the 2nd floor terrace highly recommend has a 1940’s feel about it for some reason. They have an Indian restaurant with in the hotel would like to try. 👍🏻

Absolute rudest hotel on the planet. Reservation error shortened my stay and they forced me to leave, without offering assistance to find another hotel. They even threatened to call Police to have me removed if I didn’t leave by 5:00…. This call took place at 1:00. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

We recently booked The Dilly for an overnight stay following a theatre trip, the hotel is in a fabulous location, but what impressed us most was the very helpful & friendly staff, they made us feel welcome & special 😀

Great afternoon tea which was based on Peter Rabbit! Gorgeous sandwiches and cakes which were almost too beautiful to eat! Great customer service and a lovely environment as well. Great customer service! Definitely recommend.

Stayed for 1 night in a family room, room was huge and clean — my daughter was very excited to be able to see the London eye from the room! All the staff were lovely and very helpful, they also left me a birthday treat in the room which was a lovely touch. Location is excellent. The pool was closed when we went so hopefully it will be open when we return!

A brilliant location in heart of the West End. The staff make this place — so friendly, helpful, engaging, accommodating. Large rooms and decent pricing with beautiful decor in the foyers, restaurants and bars. For its location the hotel is quiet and you feel relaxed the moment you walk through the door. My only gripes would be that the room aircon isn’t strong on chilling — more of a fan but hey it’s August and some of the room aspects look a bit tired. However, given all the huge plus points this is still an absolute stunner. We booked for friends to have a special weekend of indulgence and boy did this deliver!

We visited the Magic Bar (lower ground) and were thoroughly entertained and totally baffled by the sleight of hand magic. A very charismatic lady magician who blew us away. Great cocktails and Irish coffees. We will definitely go back.

Love this hotel! Just returned from a week at the hotel… Gaspare at the front desk was amazing on a number of reservation changes we had to make. All the doormen were consistently friendly and helpful. Our favorite thing here is the quaint and professionally run bar downstairs, especially Federico and his team!

Was there for a party in one of their halls. Beautiful and breath taking, the decor and history in there was magnificent. The ushers were friendly. Only downfall had to walk a distance for the toilets.

The room is clean, soundproofing is also good.

The amount of water bathing alone is not strong with the amount of water in the toilet and needs to be improved.
The content of the breakfast is very good, the serving and content can maintain the brand name. Reception staff, polite and appropriate.

Exceptional. Best place in all of London. Meeting point to stay. And you can see several people's events each exposing what's best given to them. Its streets have a lot of life. Shops are usually cheaper. And the sports shop across from Piccadilly Circus is the best in all of London. The best brands at a good price m.

BE AWARE if you’re booking an event here. The wedding planners of the hotel Katya and Ronald act lovely before you pay and terrible on the night and do not deliver. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANY EVENTS! Plus all the guests got food poisoning. Avoid avoid avoid!

Booked 2 rooms through travel agent and including breakfast for 5 days, doing check-in for 45 min. After overnight flight, receptionist is a trainee and seems no one willing to help, credit card guarantee at GBP 115 for each room and was told it won't debit. Tiny room and very old bathroom. Go to buy stamps at concierge twice was told no stamps left. Gave me a bill at GBP57 when check out saying that was for 2 breakfast (but which day? why only charge 1 day? Ridiculous), I mentioned to the receptionist our breakfast was included, then they gave me refund, but I have to pay the exchange rate difference. I was stocked when I got my credit card statement recently, there are 2 GBP 225 was charged, call the hotel accounts department in the morning (UK time) at 9:15 in 2 days, no one answer the phone and the message box is full, then was transferred to front office, reception, accounts department etc. Etc… eventually put me through to reception and they said those charges was for credit care guarantee, and it will refund to me, I have to pay the exchange rate difference again, the long distance call took 30 minutes. I can't believe this hotel has such poor management and lack of staff. It is a very very bad experience stayed in Le Meridien Piccadilly. Regret stayed at such hotel. When will I got the refund?

Centrally located hotel with a choice of pleasant meeting rooms. Attended a wine tasting at this hotel — a very successful event.

Beautiful old hotel in perhaps the best possible location in London. My view was of an alley, but a comfortable, spacious room, and the club lounge was very nice. Would stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay but the interior and bathroom were tiered and view from bedroom non existent. Tiered and poor view for the price. We were disappointed. We have stayed in luxury 5* hotels for cheaper and they were a much higher quality. Customer service was great and good pool etc. Great location though!

Could be a renovation again. Typical for London the high price level. The central location is for tourists and excursions but top.

Excellent service and comfortable family rooms. The rooms need a little updating though. There is a lovely heated indoor pool, gym and a very nice executive lounge. Near the concierge, there’s a secret den for the kids only where they can borrow books to read or just snug in there to read as it’s cozy. The distance to the tube is just about a minute walk away! Very convenient.

The hotel is beautiful, staff are very attentive from the moment you walk through the door. I came for one of the afternoon tea experiences, was absolutely delicious and the restaurant interiors are very chic. A wonderful experience and would recommend it for sure!

Food was absolutely lovely and service was excellent. Atmosphere was lacking due to being a Monday night but that was to be expected of a hotel restaurant. I told them it was my partner's birthday when I booked and they surprised her with some lovely little cakes for dessert. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

The hotel is clean. Very friendly staff. The rooms are big and clean. The location is near soho where all the action is and not far from the station. Lots of shopping places nearby. Not far also from Buckingham palace. Definitely will come back here again.

The service is good, the rooms are OK. A little pricey but the value to be London is fine. The restaurant is good.

Fantastic location and the Bar and Grill has a great glass roof with views over bustling Piccadilly outside. Lovely service and the food was inventive and tasty. Not quite the choice of gins that I would expect these days, probably less than your average pub. If I'm being really picky, I would have also preferred more of a choice of aperitifs and dessert wines than what was on offer. I'm only being picky because it was not cheap. The food though, was excellent.

The rooms are spacious for Europe. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The beds are comfortable. We have enjoyed our stay. The best part is the location.

We went to the Longitude Bar. A great hide away just a few steps from Piccadilly Circus. But let down by very slow service — over 20 minutes to get 4 cocktails in only a medium sized bar. One of our party left waiting over half an hour with no drink. When paying up to £15 per drink in a top London hotel, that's disappointing.

We had a great company Christmas social at the Terrace Grill and Bar. The food was great, as were the cocktails. I had beef carpaccio to start which was good, followed by a fantastic lamb dish. The desert was incredible though, and I don't really have a sweet tooth. A caramelised macadamia nut tart with an incredible Apple sorbet.

We went to the terrace bar and grill for our Christmas party. The food was excellent as well as the service. The setting was amazing.

It looks nice for the aesthetic they’re pushing. Nice cosmetics on dated infrastructure shines through quickly after staying in a room. Creaky wooden floors under the carpet, ticking noises from the fan in the heaters, fire doors slam outside of rooms when anyone walks through them…

It's a wonderful cozy place ♥ close to my hotel.

Went for afternoon tea and I made the reservation 4 days in advance. Specifically informed the staff that my friend is a vegetarian when I made the reservation. On arrival the staff were clueless about the request and my friend's platter arrived with 3 slices of plain bread on one of the plates and a handful of fruits on a toothpick on the top plate. Surely the hotel could have prepared some eggless cakes and desserts for her. Smaller hotels in towns have had a better spread of food for vegetarians.
Appalling service. We were not given plates and napkins and I had to call the waiter and had to request for plates and napkins (way after our platters were served). However they still charged full price. Clearly the afternoon at the Meridian was not up to our expectations. Such a let down.

Love the hotel. My room was quite sizable for a single person staying there. The all you can eat breakfast is pretty good but get it as part of your room package or else it'll be £28 pounds (£31 after service charge). They also have a pool and a gym on the lower levels. Their restaurant area on the second floor is beautiful with a large solarium letting in lots of natural light. Clean and friendly environment and close to everything! Definitely will try and stay there again.

I stay in Le Meridien's often for work. While this particular one has the same usual traditional and elegant feel, it is lacking in room size and function. Some of the floors have been nearly renovated, which basically equates to a bathroom refresh. While the newer style bathroom is appreciated, it wasn't something I would consider to be elegant. The main difference is a sliding door shower, rather than a step in tub with shower. The room itself isn't horrible, however the air conditioning system was lacking. I will say that my coworkers' air systems worked considerably better than mine, so maybe it is just this particular room that has the issue. Otherwise, the room wasn't terrible, it just isn't up to the normal standard I would expect from the Le Meridian name. The SPG Platinum lounge was quite nice, offering refreshments throughout the day, and a continental breakfast in the mornings. The staff at the hotel were somewhat accommodating and polite, however, overall this hotel fell short of my expectations.

Attended Le Meridien to make use of their squash courts. The facilities were excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Towels were included too. Changing rooms have lockers and individual showers, with shampoo and shower gel. Courts are ten pounds per person for 45 minutes, which seems more than reasonable. All in all, would definitely recommend to any city-based squash players.

Perfect location in Piccadilly Circus. The hotel has all of the amenities anyone would need. The rooms are a bit awkwardly shaped and lack ventilation. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are maintained well. Guest services could be more friendly but I've experienced much worse.

Nice hotel. Rooms were on the smaller side as you might expect. The front desk service and dining room service was great… the concierge maybe not so much. Nice location I would stay here again.

We went for afternoon tea yesterday for my birthday. I could not fault the food and the service was excellent. When the waiter found out it was my birthday he came out with a plate witn two chocolate mousse slices which was lovely and happy biryhday piped on the plate. It really made my day. The waiter asked if we wanted extra hot water for the tea and given it was a very hot day kept us topped with glasses of water. Would definitely recommend it.

Stayed here for my birthday. When I arrived the staff gave me an upgrade for no extra cost. Room was large and modern. Really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Thanks!

Love the location. Love the rooms. Nice restaurant to sit and look out over an iconic London street. I find the staff to be a little brash. Not my favorite Starwood property on that front… and I'm a Platinum member, which usually means I get noticeably better service than others. I'd hate to think how non Platinum guests' experience would look like on that front.

Years later, I still remember the best bed I've slept with in my life. Hyper Comfortable, beautiful interior, right in the heart of London in the Piccadilly district. No complaints. Remember to take a trip to the hotel pool.

I've stayed at Le Meridien a few times over the past 6 years thanks to its location and it being an SPG hotel. I can honestly say that the recent changes they have made make a big difference. I was there last week and had a lovely room with a large, remodeled bathroom, more space and comfort than I've had in any London hotel. They need to sort out the downstairs bar though. I ordered a cocktail (Old Fashioned to be precise) and they charged me 18 pounds plus a service charge!

I was extremely disappointed. The Wi-Fi in the hotel did not work more than half the time we were there (3 nights). I had made two different reservations and had told them both on the phone before the stay and when we checked in to make sure that we didn't have an issue. After the second night the card keys stopped wotking, our fridge locked, and our safe automatically opened. We also went into the lounge to just check things out and we were treated very poorly, probably because we are young and they thought we were trying to sneak in. The room also seemed dirty and just not up to par of what I expected from the hotel. The one thing that was fantastic was the very central location.

Location location location. The rest was meh. Not in a bad way. Nice rooms. Small but I understand that's standard for London. The A/C was malfunctioning in one of our rooms. Comfortable rooms with normal bathrooms with tub/shower combo. But no real luxury in the rooms. The breakfast buffet that we paid to be included with the rooms was good full English breakfast included. I would stay again if I get a better price because the location is terrific but I paid about £300/room/night which is quite too much for this caliber of a hotel. I mean that's $450 I can stay in a much nicer hotel for $450 in NYC. And in London too. The concierge was decent but not didn't have the same over-the-top, whatever-you-desire, nothing-is-to-big-or-too-small attitude that you become accustomed to in other nice hotels in London. I wanted to rent some cars for a couple days and he pointed me to the computers in the lounge so I could reserve them myself. Not what I expected. One very bright spot is the bell boys. Those guys would know the weather for the day and lend you umbrellas, they knew our family by name greeting us every time we came and went. Remembered we were going out to Milos for dinner gave us walking directions asked us how we enjoyed our dinner and so on.

An older hotel but fairly recently refurbished, so it's a pretty good experience. It's a few steps off Piccadilly, which makes it slightly quieter, a total bonus. The room I got wasn't super special but the bed was comfortable and I had a couple good night's sleep. The front desk was really friendly. Only wish the Wi-Fi was better, reception in my room was spotty. There's a nice Caffé Nero right next door for that quick morning coffee.

Lovely hotel with a lot of character. My rooms have been spacious and with the recent update, a nice blend of modern and historic. The club lounge is fantastic and the location can't be beat. Its an easy walk to most everything and the tube is right out the front door.

Don´t choose Le Meridien to host events. My company booked a room for a roundtable/breakfast and it was an absolute disaster. The waiter never laid out the table properly and would mysteriously disappear from the room for no apparent reason. When I asked other staff members for support they just passed the responsibility to someone else. Not to mention that its massively overpriced. £19 for a yoghurt, coffee and pastry?

Great hotel in central London.

The fact I give this 3 stars should be a reflection on what the hotel perceives itself to be (5 stars). We got to reception 15 mins early to check in, a receptionist welcomed me to the counter and took my bank card the £100 security deposit and then decided to look blankly at his screen for a good 10 mins without making eye contact with me or verbal communication. After this time he then looks up and says the room isn't ready and he can offer me and my wife a room with two single beds, we declined this offer. He then goes blank again and says nothing for a few mins before making a phone call the ask for a time on the room, he tells me a further 15 mins will be needed which I accept and go grab a coffee from the nearest coffee shop as the hotel offered me nothing for my wait. On returning we are called to the desk by a different member of staff, I inform her we have tried check in and the room wasn't ready and that it should be now as we waited the 20 mins, she goes into the apparent company gorm look at her screen and clicks around with the mouse… 5 mins later she looks up and says no room is ready but she will try change us to a better room (keep this in mind as we move on). We eventually get the room key and we go on our way to find the room. As we enter the room I can only describe it as a cheap side room that seems to be lucky if it gets 3 stars, its room 712 if you are lucky to be offered it, don't take it.

The staff is very friendly and had a quick check-in. They have a lounge that has good breakfast and some snacks throughout the day. Also lots of bottles of water which is a must when traveling and walking around all day! The rooms are more classical, but they don't feel old. Lots of space and plenty of sunlight coming through the windows. Price is high, recommend if you are staying on business trip.

The more you stay, the less you have!
2 MB of Internet Wi — Fi seem enough to stay for a night or two. But by staying 6 nights, these 2 MB are soon insufficient and have to pay three days to have Wi — Fi.
Today more no hotel worthy of the name invoice internet. And the 2 MB limit might make sense if it was adapted to the duration of the stay. (2 MB / day).
Instead it is the opposite that happens and the customer is trapped.
This is not acceptable. Evil spirit.

Terrible hotel, compared to ask the others in London. Wi-Fi coverage is spotty, at best. Lots of stairs that you have to pull your suitcases up and down. Rooms are dark and look worn. Starwood should pull their brand from this location. Definitely not recommended.

Location, location, location! This hotel is centrally located and was in walking distance for all of our "tourist" needs! As a result it was very conveinent considering London traffic by nature is horrible! The staff was extremely friendly, and accomodating by making us feel at home!

An exceptional hotel in the heart of the West End, The staff are courteous, the rooms are a good size and well equipped. I would recommend Le Meridien to everyone.

If you were in Spain you would have removed at least one star.
There was mildew in the shower in the room and have the omnipresent carpet everywhere.
If you need to highlight the waiter from the bar which is Spanish and is a part of very nice a crack with the cocktails.
and at the front desk always find some Spanish girl treat you very well.
the breakfast buffet because of the normal in ingleterra for the price so that you pay for the room.

This hotel is all about the location. If you want to stay smack-dab in the epicenter of tourist London, with the best of Regent Street, Bond Street and Mayfair high-end shopping on your doorstep, then look no further. In terms of the hotel itself though, as an officially rated five-star hotel, it's just OK. The common areas (lobby, bar, restaurant) are nice and recently renovated. The rooms are ok, and look like they might have had a lick of paint and some fresh upholstery recently. But the bathroom was looking pretty dated, and like they keep trying to paint over problems rather than fixing them. The gym is huge, and reasonably well equipped, but also a little dated and grubby. The swimming pool is also huge, and has the capacity to be stunning (huge vaulted roof etc), but is also in need of a month or two's shut down and complete overhaul. Service overall was good. If this were listed as a 4-star hotel rather than a 5-star, I'd have rated it as Good rather than just OK. But as a 5-star hotel, they need to work harder. In terms of price, it's the same story. Don't pay 5-star prices, or you'll be disappointed. But pay 4-star prices, and you'll be quite happy.

Sorry, experience was bad from the start. Just hard to deal with staff, uncooperative room service staff. Not friendly and my whole time there didn't feel right. I'm afraid I won't be visiting here again.

Nice hotel, very old building but they maintain it well. The rooms aren't modern, but they are very nice. They have a nice lounge with good breakfast in the morning. The location is great and walking distance from a lot of the great sights.

We had the set menu and the food was quite cold. The waiter tried to be friendly but was very awkward and came across as slightly rude.

If you like indian food please Try The Taj Restaurant in 10 Carlton Parade Orpington Kent BR6 0JB open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 5.30pm to 11.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

Rather than staying @ the hotel itself, I frequented the bar (Latitude 08) which was an oasis in the hustle and bustle of busy Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus. The service was smooth and quick and my "Tea time" Cocktail came with 3 mini bowls of nibbles (pretzels, wasabi peas and peanuts. I was impressed that the barman not only removed the nuts but also substituted them with crisps when I told him of my allergy) Cocktails definitely on the higher end of prices, but for the inventiveness and bespokeness. Definitely worth it.

Loud air conditioning, dated room, bathroom needs replacing, woken up on Saturday morning by the cleaners slamming doors, breakfast outrageously overpriced (£63 for two people) and poor quality (really shoddy eggs), function on the 1st floor (Saturday night) vibrated our room on the 3rd floor and the offensive music kept us up all night. Hotel bar is small, dark and limited. Maintenance team 'fixed' our rattling windows by wedging them shut. Not impressed at all with any aspect of this hotel.

I held a quick business pitch / meeting in the sit down bar upstairs. Chairs are fashionable but awkwardly low for someone over 5ft11. The bar is quiet without it feeling empty. Service is just above average. The staff seem to flit between waiting on tables, working behind the bar and the "seeing you to your seats role". It leaves you never quite knowing if you should go to the bar or wait because it's table service.
