Thanks a lot for your generous welcoming and lovely service.

Staff were very unhelpful and the outside area very dirty. We were residents, yet not allowed to use the outside area to sit and have a drink. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Air conditioning does not work. Safe does not work. Refrigerator is empty. Service level very very low if compared to price per room. Forget about it.

Really really clean bright and spacious. Lots of sanitiser in evidence everywhere, staff in masks so v safe atmosphere. Rooms are comfy with plenty of storage and a modern well equipped shower room. Great location for the West End too. Nice bar, good breakfast.

Booked an afternoon tea for my mums 60th for 5 of us. Restaurant was lovely, quick service, food was lovely, plenty of it. Will definitely recommend to others.

Just had afternoon tea here, very nice small amount of sandwiches, no atmosphere… but it is a wet Monday.

It’s the restaurant that lets the hotel down. Very very slow service and a poor menu choice. I accept that sometimes we would like a healthy choice for food but after a full day running around I would like something warm, comforting and substantial. I had a burger tonight, but what will I choose tomorrow?

Room was very comfortable great sleep and breakfast is fantastic.

Had a lovely evening good food and drink waiter was so funny realy friendly guy would return.

Afternoon Tea is amazing! We have been fortunate to visit twice and have had exceptional service by Imelda on both occasions. So helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and would love to return again soon.

Good location and great value for the price. I was very happy to be not right in the middle of town for less than a third the cost per night.

The room itself was fantastic! Newly renovated or well kept, the bathroom layout and lighting was well designed in the room and made it very cozy even though the room was small. It was functional and everything had its place. There was a huge wardrobe and coffee/Nespresso area where you can ask for more pods. DoubleTree is also known for giving out free and warm cookies each time you pass the front desk to ask. It was one of the best stays I’ve had in recent memory and to have this experience in London was memorable indeed. The location: it was a few minutes walk to the nearest tube station but that wasn’t too big an issue. The buses literally stop right in front of the hotel so that was useful in inclement weather. The view from our hotel faced West and we would look out really far on a nice clear London day.

Terrible service. Waitress forgot half of our order. They didn't have all the wine on the menu and brought out a choice of another two, which we presumed would be similar price to what we had ordered, but ended up being a lot more expensive. The waitress brought us the bill, before we'd even finished our bottle of wine! Not even asking if we wanted anything else. She then kept asking if we were ready to pay when we were still drinking. We then paid the bill without paying the service charge, and got questioned why we didn't pay it by the waitress. This is where we explained we didn't get half our order and ended up paying more for an expensive bottles of wine we hadn't ordered.

Stayed here last summer. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and great room service. We plan on staying here again on our next trip to London.

Perfect location with bus stop and tube station close by and entrance to the park just across the road giving easy access to Kensington Palace and Gardens. Friendly staff and outdoor seating for alfresco dining, important as we are visiting during a heat wave.

Ok good points first. The welcome cookie is great. Bad points. The rooms are not worth the money. Apparently I was upgraded to a king deluxe that wasn’t big enough to swing a cat in but the worst thing is I wasn’t told I had an upgrade until I had checked out and 2 days later they took money out of my account. I am now arguing with them over it but the manager won’t talk and refuses to call back. I find it disgusting they feel they can take money out of your account after you have checked out. On top of this the air con is rubbish. It blows a hurricane and makes the loudest noise but doesn’t actually make the room any hotter or colder. I have also found out the room I was upgraded to was meant to be a room with a view. I had a view of scaffolding out the back of the hotel. Do not use this hotel there are more that are loads better in London.

This has become my preferred London Hotel when working near Paddington. The place itself is clean and comfortable, and cool in summer. I don't tend to eat in hotels, so can't comment on the food. But it is the location which is brilliant: you're away from the madness of Central London, and spared the sterility of Docklands and other "business districts". Instead, on your way into work, you pass families going to school, local businesses opening up their shops. For somewhere very convenient when working in London, yet in an area where people live their lives, this is the place.

Great location, easy to access to shops, restaurants. Room price is a bit too expensive. Some staff ate not that helpful.

This is our new go-to place in London. The location is fantastic. Hyde Park is across the street with Kensington Palace about 10 minutes walk. Queensway tube stop on the Central line is just a few minutes walk away. Around the corner from that is Lancaster Gate stop on a different line. You are a short walk to Notting Hill and some great food and shopping. Around the corner is Galaxy Laundry — a self-service laundr-o-mat. The Hop On-Hop Off bus stops in front of the hotel with a ticket seller there during the day. A bus stop is just a few steps away. The rooms actually have Air con that I can say is actually cold. Many hotels allow you to set it at 20, but never get below 24 no matter how long it runs and without windows that open, it gets stuffy. Breakfast is just fine but not gourmet. But, the price isn't bad for what you get. It never changes, though, so after about day 3, we found ourselves wandering down the street to Pret for something different. Not quite walkable from Paddington station unless you really love to drag your luggage through the streets. But, a taxi is about £10 from Paddington. Just make sure they don't drop you off at the OTHER Hilton down the street. We always have to stop them from flipping a U-Turn in the street in front of the other one. Have them shoot for the Urban Meadow Cafe' — their information doesn't have this property listed as a Doubletree for some reason and most taxis get it wrong.

Excellent hotel not far from downtown and very well connected. No noise, the birds wake you up. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They speak Spanish. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very good. You have free Nexpreso cafe in the room, they will replace the capsules and you can order all the water bottles you need for free. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly good and overall an excellent, keenly price hotel experience. The road facing rooms are a little on the noisy side due to the day time traffic passing by and the absence of double glazing. But if you can get a good deal, this is a place worth considering to stay when on leisure or business trip to London. Access to public transportation is second to none.

Great place to have a leisurely breakfast at the weekend. it is a tourist hotel and the breakfast is buffet style. £12.00 for cereal, cold meats, porridge, muesli, juices and the usual hot breakfast choices. Sunday papers and take your to. the hotel is opposite Kensington Park so I usually go for a long early walk and pop in for a relaxed breakfast. the staff are lovely. highly recommended.

Great location with great facilities. The breakfast is wonderful, the view is really nice. If you are luck you will have a room with the park view. Walking in the park in the morning is a great experience. Great price and performance rate, highly recommended.

Advertising to be active in reducing the human footprint — but taking away soap used just 3 times, towels that are hanging and are not laying on the floor and also the shampoo that is still half full when you are staying more than one night. Sorry in these days this is a NO GO. Other points (breakfast, room, quietness, …) are 5 stars.

Friendly reception from all the staff, followed by a lovely afternoon tea, consisting of tasty sandwiches, delicious cakes and delightful flavoured teas. To top off this great experience (friends and I were celebrating special birthdays) we were also presented with bottles of bubbly. Would definitely recommend. And of course we cannot forget Ronny :-)

The location is good right next to Queensway tube station and Hyde Park, however rooms are small and could do with some upgrading. No upgrade for Hilton Gold, housekeeping didn't bother cleaning the room despite us being out all day. Breakfast is acceptable and staff seem friendly. There are much better Hiltons in London in my opinion.

The hotel is clean with friendly staff. The rooms are sufficiently comfortable. My one complaint is that the kitchen struggles to get the food out in time for breakfast in the morning when we would arrive as they opened.

Rooms are small but nice, although you hear a lot of noise in the hallway. Free breakfast as a gold member… solid buffet but a few more choices would be nice. Excellent location across from Hyde Park and very close to 2 tube stations.

Nice location on the edge of Hyde Park, only a short walk from several tube stations and Paddington. Staff are always friendly. Good quality rooms. Great buffet breakfast. And of course the DoubleTree choc cookie on arrival is delicious!

The hotel is in a great location it's very nice & the restaurant is very convenient and decent. The Only inconvenience that we had was the shower Flooding it was very difficult taking a shower having to turn off the water waiting for it to drain luckily they fixed it the following morning. The location is very good very easy to get to Kensington Palace it's a 6 minute walk out the door. The tube is located right outside either to the left or to the right your choice to take you to all the sites.

We visited Saturday for afternoon tea (on a gift voucher) & had a lovely time. The staff were really friendly and the food was lovely. We would definitely recommend it.

We caught this hotel on a bad day! The air conditioning wasn't working, though we were assured that we were being roomed in an area of the hotel where it was still working. However when we got back from our night out the room was still uncomfortably warm and reception told my wife that it wasn't working and there was nothing they could do to help us. This means we were outright lied to when we checked in. All the room's comfort means nothing when staff deceive you in this fashion. And the cookie's not up to much either.

Great staff to help you check in and check out. Rooms clean tidy. Plus great menus for breakfast and all other occasions. Will be back shortly.

Clean rooms, nice location by the park. Convenient to the underground. A walk across Hyde Park to museums. Downside is that it's a bit self-service: nobody is in too much of a hurry to help. Overall, would stay again for convenience and price.

Convenient location with central line (Queensway) just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Had a very nice Deluxe Double room with balcony. Didn't spend too much time at the hotel due to a late arrival and early departure but everything had a nice new, clean look to it. Shower was excellent and white conditioning worked fine which was important in the current 30 degree heat in London. Breakfast had a good selection of English breakfast items as well as fruits and cereals, all in buffet format.

A little disappointed with hotel over all, did expect slightly higher standards from a Hilton hotel. View from window was of a brick wall We also were given the disabled room and not being disabled couldn't really understand why. Anyway the basin in the bathroom had no cold water only hot and was so small we couldn't get the kettle under the tap. Wouldnt recommended ordering a taxi from the hotel as I believe they must take a cut of the fare because the fare the previous day was half the price which we flagged down ourselves… overall really wouldn't recommend.

The hotel was far too hot and the air con unit in the room was far too noisy, so you had the choice of roasting alive at night or not sleeping due to noise. I don't usually complain about being too hot, but I was to hot here. Walls are paper thin, so I could hear nextdoors mobile phone vibrating as well as every aspect of the phone call. However, other than that the hotel was comfortable with extremely friendly and attentive staff. It's closeness to Queensgate tube station made it a very handy location.

Not recommended for anything, rooms with mattresses spring hard old and obsolete, noisy rooms and sound-proofing of the street insufficient, not typical of a hotel that is located in this category. We will not return.

Very close to Metro station and Hyde Park. Good location and other aspects are also quite good. Delicious cookies, if more orange juice for breakfast would be better. Next time you come to London, I also lived here.

Afternoon tea: the service was excellent, the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the sandwiches and the scones, they were fresh and tasty. Sadly the cakes were not so good, they looked old and lower quality.

The location of this hotel is very good it overlooks hide park as well as winter wanderland great for sight seeing.

Warm welcome from the team at the front desk. Love the cookies! Room well appointed and clean. Easy reach for the Royal Albert Hall and Kensington Palace. Notting Hill 10 minute walk. A 30 minute walk through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park gets you to Buckingham Palace. Nearest tube station is Queensway.

The sweetest and most helping staff. They gave me a warm chocolate cookie at arrival which was the best thing after a day of traveling. The entry of the hotel is very minimalistic and I really liked that and the rooms have everything you need. I had a wonderful time there.

We loved our room, really warm an inviting. Service with a smile and good proximity for sites and theatre's. Only one small issue: the sandwich brought to our room late in the evening was a little dry. Shame no evening bar also. Would stay here again though.

The stay went very well, but the bad smell in the corridors and rooms is disgusting. All the bathrooms have no Windows.

This hotel is okay. Unfortunately we were assigned to an accessible room, which normally would be okay but in this case, had a sink the size of one you'd normally find in a camper! The bed was as comfortable as possible, but filled up most of the room. The location is quiet and pretty, across from the park, but not that close to any action.

I tried to reach a guest. They don't have an operator. I wish you good luck as I couldn't speak with anyone? I prefer the Park Plaza facing the Parliament. That one is awesome, modern and very well located.

I visited a friend in London for four days, and once booked my room, I realized the hotel was renovated. I was fascinated by the atmosphere, my room shone with cleanliness. My friend was at work during the days and fortunately Miguel made my stay easy and memorable. He gave me excellent advice regarding places to visit, answered all my questions and assisted when I needed any help. One of the evenings I spent with my friend in The Brasserie and Bar in the hotel, cocktails were unique.

DoubleTree by Hilton-London Hyde Park is perfect for sightseeing, because it is in the center of the city and has accessibility to the public transport. It is in only 10 minutes walking distance of Big Ben, Parliament, and Westminster Abbey. Cookies on arrival were so delicious and there was an extremely friendly receptionist (Sarah) when I checked in. There were great facilities in my room and free Wi-Fi was a fabulous bonus. The city cafe on the second floor had both wonderful food and view.
