Really nice hotel, with a great gym — probably the best I have seen in any hotel (and I stay in lots). Very friendly reception staff too. Will look to stay here again for sure!

Unbelievable experience where the staff and management don't care that their "spa" is in fact a poor excuse for a swimming pool. The rooms aren't great either. staff who lie to you, treat you like garbage and don't care that they are ruining a your day. never been so insulted in all my life. Avoid like the plague.

AWFUL, WORST HOTEL IN THE AREA! I stay away a few nights a week with work, often in the Maidenhead/High Wycombe/Marlow area. And this is by far the WORST hotel out of the bunch. Rude inattentive restaurant staff. Filthy tables in a quiet restaurant. Waited 20 minutes to be served, 15 for a drink and 20 for food (which was disgusting! ). Later found out they served me a GF substitute without asking me, because ‘they’d run out’ and thought it was acceptable to not even check… Luckily I don’t have any allergies or intolerances! I’ve stayed here 3 times now, but won’t be returning. Every experience has been a negative one. Would advise anyone travelling for work (or pleasure) to stay in the Hilton High Wycombe.

Lovely rooms and very clean. staff are very helpful fabulously, situated for centre of Marlow.

We had a pleasure to come to Crowne Plaza Marlow with our luxury oak booth. It is a very nice venue with a specious function room great for many different events. Food was very nice and staff really helpful. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

Had a brilliant weekend for my husband's birthday, service was great, food was superb, room great& spa/pool was really nice too. Couldn't fault it. Thank you everyone x.

Quiet location. Lovely hotel. Very clean and spacious. The staff all very friendly and couldn't help us enough. The food in the cafe and restaurant is delicious and of a high standard. Would recommend for a relaxing stay.

Such a rip off, I booked membership at this Marlow branch by mistake and they wouldn't even transfer the funds to the Docklands branch which is 5 minutes from where I live. £180 just lost like that. They are soooo unempathetic and there customer care is awful at that. They didn't take into consideration that this was a genuine mistake.

I booked for spa day with aft tea for my granddaughter who is 13. £112 pounds for a hot tub (outside one broken) lucky to get a bed as none when first arrived. Small sauna and steam room. Have to change out of robes to go for aft tea so that spa day last from 10.45 till 12.45 as now we are dressed won’t be changing again. Only one therapist so couldn’t get a treatment together either. Needs a make over some relaxing music maybe playing in the steam room And sauna to make it feel more like a spa. I wouldn’t book this again aft tea you get cab plenty of deals for 2 for 30 pounds so I am expecting something great for 30 each.

Lovely hotel and so quiet. It was a great stop off before travelling back home to Cheshire. Great restaurant and fabulous bar staff making the best cocktails. Food, drink and staff were fabulous and I'd definitely stop again. spacious and comfortable rooms.

I have been trying repeatedly to book a 1 night, dinner and treatment spa break that was bought for us (virgin gift experience) with no luck on the phone. I resorted to email only to be told there are no treatments available until December (the voucher expires in November) and I should change my gift experience for one without treatments (why book a spa if you don't want spa treatments 🙄) and then, every replacement is at the exact same hotel which in all honesty, after just trying to make a reservation and now reading the reviews, I'd rather go elsewhere. Absolutely shocking customer service and that's without even making it to the hotel!

We had a spa experience and afternoon tea gifted to us by our son. We had a drink in the bar before going into the spa, which was lovely as we drank it out on the terrace overlooking the lake. The spa staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna were beautifully clean and lovely. Our afternoon tea was divine, the young waitress who looked after us was lovely and kept us topped up with tea. The cakes, sandwiches abd scones were delicious. All in all our experience was delightful.

Terrible customer service before and after the stay. It’s impossible to reach them by phone, one day I tried 11 times. They don’t answer emails. I called guest relations in US to try and help and still no resolution to my issue. I only wanted to get 2 breakfasts taken off my bill that were wrongly charged and get a copy of the invoice. I have NEVER in my life been ignored by a business to this extent. Once you are there the stay is OK but if you have any problems DO NOT LEAVE THE HOTEL UNTIL THEY ARE RESOLVED or they never will be!

Another amazing time at this lovely hotel. Upgraded to a bigger room with king size bed. Such friendly helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Clean and modern facilities. A meal that would rival any top Michelin star restaurant. Delicious doesn’t go far enough. Just a wonderful stay. ❤️

Terrible service when trying to book buyagift Spa experience. Don't reply to emails and staff are rude. Two years on the trot we've received the same poor service. Such a shame as the hotel itself is lovely.

This hotel lacks integrity, the management are extremely unprofessional and their policies are flawed to the detriment of its customers. Staff incompetence is blamed on the customer, rather than investigated fully. The way I was treated was appalling and this hotel should be ashamed of themselves! I had my spa day cancelled just hours before I was due to attend, despite having written confirmation that they would honour my voucher past it's expiration date (due to availability issues and COVID). Quite shockingly even though I had evidence to prove that the staff had assured me that I could use my voucher, they decided to revoke their decision and blame me for not redeeming it sooner. Obviously if I had known how unprofessional and deceitful the company was I would have chosen to redeem a different experience with another company. I am now left significantly out of pocket as we had made arrangements for childcare and taken time off work to attend. Not to mention losing the value of my experience voucher. Absolutely disgraceful.

Just got back from a lovely night away. Highly recommend a stay here, swimming pool really good size, decor is amazing and the food is truly incredible. Staff very friendly, all in all we loved it.

Had a Groupon spa day with dinner. Great service. Would recommend.

The staff were lovely even though you could see how stressed they were as the internet had been down all day. The 3 course meal was was fantastic and so was the breakfast. Only a couple of gripes were that the dressing gowns had seen better days and the view from our room was a carpark. (This was an upgraded room so heaven knows what we would be facing with a standard room).

This is not a 4 star hotel, spend your money on a better hotel with better staff and service.

Have been trying to call and email for the last 7 weeks to boom a room with a spa break gift package and had no joy in speaking to anyone. Talk about terrible customer service before even going! And looking at the reviews of those that have been, I will be looking to get a refund.

I had a spa day and afternoon tea which was lovely but the only disappointment is when having a glass of wine from the bar it tasted watered down to which I was not happy about but apart from that everything else was perfect.

This place is so relaxing, immaculate throughout, literally cannot fault it. It's our first night, dinner was delicious looking forward to tomorrow. This place is outstanding a must for anyone.

Although evening meal was ok waited for 25 mins for food order to be taken then waited 45 minutes for food to arrive.
Rang Hotel before booking to confirm our child could use the pool, they confirmed he could but on arrival we was told he couldn't, we asked to speak to a manager but he was not on site and had to wait 24hours later to finally speak to him, which he said we actually could use the pool. When actually going to use the pool, there is a sign to say no more than 12 people in the pool at one time by government guidelines, there was way over 25 people in the pool. When speak to the person on the desk at the pool she didn't really care and basically told us to not worry about it.
Hand sanitizer station throughout the hotel but always empty.
Signs to say masks must be wore in public areas of the hotel by law but no one follows this and hotel staff do not police this.
A lot of cracked tiles on the floor and shower walls.
Ring for room service but no one ever answers.
When you arrive you are told you have to pay a further £100 on top of what the cost of the room but not given a reason why just that its hotel policy, this is not displayed on booking. Com or the hotel website. This hotel is a lovely looking hotel but it is very over priced, breakfast that is basically a fry up is not worth £18.

Stayed here for 2 nights and what an absolute joke not worth the money and staff r rude and didnt have a clue and management were even worse poor hotel!

Awful spa facilities that don’t work and dirty (jacuzzi and hot tub broken had to discover this ourselves once we got in), awful customer service, incompetent and unorganised staff who don’t even speak to you on arrival for 20 minutes and more like a loud leisure centre than peaceful and relaxing. No sun beds available. Be prepared to just hover around wondering what to do with yourself. Don’t waste your time and money. Left within under two hours and refused treatments as felt more stressed than relaxed. Especially after being interrupted by rude and arrogant beautician that time was running out when she could see we was discussing our awful experience with the Guest Manager. Time running out for the treatments was the least of our worries! Afternoon Tea not so bad but had to ask for replacement sandwiches as bread was hard and stale. So sad to see so many people felt the same and complaining and were discussing this with each other to feel some sort better you weren’t alone. Thank you for ruining me and my friends day.

I came here for afternoon tea / spa day and will most definitely NOT be returning. The afternoon tea was actually quite pleasant but the spa and spa staff were very disappointing. When we spoke to the manager she made it very clear that she didn’t want to know. Definitely would not recommend.

Lovely hotel but the restaurant table was dirty and so was the table on the club lounge. The food in the bar was mediocre spoilt by off salsa which I was told was made that day. When I complained the manager just walked off but did not conclude what he was going to do about it. Also other problems with the room which were not corrected. The room service food was good though.

Lovely and clean, fabulous staff, amazing treatment, fantastic afternoon tea. Sadly not enough seating nor space around the pool but we will be back!

We had the best stay, brilliant for families. Large garden and play castle, Room was huge with 2 double beds, children totally spoilt by staff who were all wonderful.
Pool area was safe and clean… what more could you ask for Thank you for making us feel relaxed, this rarely happens when staying in hotels with 2 small children.
We loved our mini break.

Despite a very rude receptionist on the phone prior to our arrival and poor reviews written our experience was very good. Johanna waiting on our table at the wedding was exceptional a real gem! Food good and a delightful wedding arranged.

Had a lovely spa day at the Quad Club. The customer service was excellent, the facilities were clean and my pedicure was excellent. Overall, good value for money. Will return.

We selected your hotel for our redletterday afternoon tea this week. However, there were a number of reasons why we were disappointed with our experience. First of all the afternoon tea was in a large dark lounge where various groups and individuals were holding meetings — more like a work space than the setting for afternoon tea. The website shows tea on the patio with the view of the lake. When we asked for this we were told that was not possible as the RCP were holding a conference/seminar with posters and stands in the conservatory. However throughout the time we were having our tea no one was using that area nor were on the patio. Then we noticed 2 ladies who were obviously having a spa session being served afternoon tea outside on the patio and they had just walked through this conservatory are in their dressing gowns! Whilst the staff were pleasant it was a disappointing experience. The location of the Crowne Plaza hotel is very nice but we would not recommend the setting and ambience for offering afternoon teas within the hotel.

Terrible service hotel! I wouldn’t recommend staying here the management is simply awful The spa area is extremely dirty a guy with a beard is very unwelcoming lockers are a disaster pay £5 for a padlock given a key? Ordered food no one came back for 2 hrs ask how is everything? Left dirty plates and glasses all around the swimming pool area the glass is so filthy you can’t see outside children’s pool next to massage? They have to be very very quiet if your planning to bring kids forget it at the same time it looks like a council swimming pool. Breakfast is about the only good thing. No one apologised to us very any shortcomings. This has a great setting managed really BAD The bearded guy in the swimming pool area needs a lot of training he is sarcastic and very annoying to guest.

It would have been a 5 star rating if the standard of the rooms was higher, food marks on the walls and carpets. Dirty mirrors in the bath room and on the cupboards. The room also needed to be hovered better. The stranded of the food was fantastic, we had the duck to which it was cooked to perfection The staff we meet in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful.

Staff are amazing. Rooms very nice, spa facilities excellent, swimming pool a good size, the jacuzzi comes on automatically rather than manually. Breakfast was fully stocked with fruit, yogurts, cereals, full English, and also had meat and cheese for continental. I didn't use the restaurant, so cannot comment, but the bar food was truly delicious. Highly recommended, and would happily book again.

Lovely outdoor space. Didn't stay but used the pool and outdoor hot tub. Afternoon tea was tasty. Couldn't finish all the cakes. Friendly staff.

Bad customer service. We bought afternoon tea vouchers directly from their website (full price). We had to move the booking and were told we could just re-book it, but when we tried to re-book it we were told we couldn’t use the voucher as it has been redeemed — even though we never had our afternoon tea! So we have spent £40 to come for an afternoon tea we never received. We should have been told if there were going to be issues with redeeming our vouchers. When I contacted reservations to re-book it they agreed to ring me back — but never did! Then when I tried to get though again nothing has been passed on and I was told rather I simply wouldn’t be able to come for my re-booked afternoon tea.

Lovely location for this hotel, right on a lake. Absolutely gorgeous outdoors. Giving one star only as despite being a beautiful place, we experienced poor service. Coffees ordered and paid but forgotten. Food takes too long and is not that great. Not many gluten free choices. Tables not cleaned in the bar area at dinner time. It was a shame to see smokers smoking right by the lovely children play area with young children playing there. Lots to improve. The overall observation explains the low rating.

Fantastic spa day. Tom on reception was friendly and really helpful. Excellent customer service and the massage was first class, one of the best I have had in years. Very nice lady, just a little shy. Facilities were good and lovely to sit outside on a sunny day. Food was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Extremely disappointing stay. Tried to feedback to the hotel they were not interested. Was looking forward to an overnight stay with spa treatments they were understaffed and had no availability. The bar area was full of children in the evening so could not have a peaceful drink. Because it was a kids party there was slow service in the restaurant they also took away half of the menu. I complained with regards to my evening meal (I did not eat it but was billed). All in all would not recommend to anyone looking to have a romantic restful night away.

We had a group of 12 people who had booked a special Sunday evening deal for my aunt's birthday. We requested 6 twin rooms as close to each other as possible. When we arrived at 1.30 we were told that our room was not ready and they took my mum's phone number to call her when it was. By 3.30 we still had not heard back from them so we went back to reception to hear the people in front of us being assigned our room. We were then told our room still was not ready and they offered us a double room, which wasn't acceptable. Eventually, at 4.10 we got into a room. We had booked dinner for 7.30, we then waited until gone 8pm before they even offered us a menu or some water. 5 of the people with us ordered cocktails and were told that it might be about 15-20 minutes for these. We received our starters, which were cold, at around 9pm and the people who ordered cocktails still hadn't received their drinks. 30 minutes later, a member of staff came over and said that they couldn't have cocktails because the blender was broken, despite none of the cocktails requiring blending. This man was very rude to us when we questioned this and kept insisting he was the manager when we asked to speak to one (he wasn't). One of our party went and spoke to the bar who confirmed that they didn't even have a blender and were currently making the drinks for us. We got our main courses around 2 hours after sitting down, which were actually very nice. By 10.

Beautiful hotel, stunning location. Completely understaffed. Rooms were not ready two hours after checking in. Long wait to get served at the bar. Evening meal complete shambles. Not enough staff, made to feel unwelcome. Shown to table and ignored for twenty five minutes. Waited an hour and half for starters and cocktails. Whole restaurant complained, tables not cleared, argumentative staff, completely flustered. Took three hours for meal, such a shame for birthday girl who had organised this break months in advance. Staff argued amongst themselves, very unprofessional and embarrassing.
Buffet breakfast was beautiful with lots of choice. However again not enough staff to clear tables.
Shame that lack of staff spoils the experience as the hotel has lovely spacious rooms and good facilities.

The hotel setting is fantastic, but they really let themselves down with the service and facilities. We arrived at lunchtime and couldn't check in until about 4pm. While we waited we had a drink in the sunny outside area, but every table still had dirty glasses from either breakfast or the previous night. We tried to order a cocktail but the barman quoted 20 minutes wait while he checked if he had the ingredients (the bar was empty), and the draught beer had "lumps" floating in it. Having said that — a couple of the staff were very good, the setting is nice and we had a great breakfast — but I'm not sure if that's enough to make me want to go back.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and had a decent stay. The location is amazing, right on the river front. The staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast spread was good. They charge you less if you book breakfast atleast 1 day in advance, as compared to if you book it the same day. However the rooms felt really dated and the furniture had a lot of scratches and scuff marks. Worst still, when we took a stroll to the river front, it was littered with animal droppings, which seemingly hasn't been cleared for days.

Had a great stay there. Very reasonable price for overnight stay and a 30 min treatment. Food at the bar quite pricey. Staff were attentive and friendly. Pool could do with an update.

Lovely setting in lovely town. Staff excellent. Restaurant prices very high. If booking helsth club treatments we were told they need 2 months advance notice but hotel highly commended.

Standard hotel. Perfectly pleasant if functional bedroom with a relatively comfortable bed and powerful shower. Staff helpful and polite. Not somewhere id go for a romantic night away but perfect as a business venue.

Spent a night here for my birthday and enjoyed it very much. The spa facilities were nice and relaxing and the staff were very hospitable, polite and helpful. The 3 course dinner was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. There was also a lot of variety for the breakfast in the morning. The chef's also make things to order, so I enjoyed some delicious pancakes. Only thing I would say is that the room (while very comfortable), could do with a bit more modernising.

Went here today for a spa day. Hotel is quite nice, don't let the exterior fool you! When arriving the staff were very attentive and welcoming and guided me to the spa pool area. As soon as you enter you see the big pool straight in front of you and also a jacuzzi — looks decent. Used the Sauna and steam which was nice. Changing rooms were very hygienic! So that's a plus too. Had a neck, shoulder and back massage. The masseuse was great friendly and professional. On to the lunch had a 2 course — club sandwich and chocolate brownie dessert both were of really good quality! Loved it in fact. The bar staff was really helpful, attentive and welcoming! Once I finished that I went onto the exterior heated jacuzzi and that really topped my day. Amazing views while you sit in it and just so relaxing. I would recommend this hotel for the spa/lunch and would go again.

I stayed here at the weekend whilst on a course elsewhere and found the staff to be amazing! They looked after us so well, went beyond the call of duty, and every member of staff we came across greeted us with smiles. All so welcoming. Well done Crowne Plaza Marlow. Great service.

The Crowne Plaza Marlow is a pretty good hotel located close by to the town of Marlow. The rooms were nice on the inside, and the restaurant was pleasant, however, the pool area and hotel corridors could be better with a refurbishment (which is planned for 2018). The staff were excellent and the room service menu was good and fairly priced. The room was very clean and very comfortable, and the bathroom was especially nice. The location is scenic and pleasant but admittedly quite far from Marlow itself (not walkable, generally). The grounds were well kept and the lake picturesque, and the restaurant/bar that opened into the glass room directly adjacent to grounds were pleasantly designed.

Warm welcome on arrival. King room was very comfortable and well equipped. Spa facilities are nice, but some maintenance is required. Lovely breakfast. Exceptional fine dining experience.

A 4 star facility but facilities are not worth 4 star. I stayed in two rooms over 2 nights and in both bathrooms, shower water will leak out and make it messy outside. The guy at breakfast entrance looks more like a policeman than a hotel employee. Free Wi-Fi but the coverage is not uniform. Scenery is beautiful around and a lake on the back is fascinating. Parking is ample and free.

The room was large, the facilities excellent but… spoiled by toe nail clippings left in wardrobe floor from previous guests. Also, the Club Lounge was not cleaned regularly, nor restocked with mugs on 2 days that we spent there over Christmas. We went to the restaurant and got clean mugs from there. On the last day of our stage the drinks machine in the Lounge was not working and although we reported it to the restaurant staff, it was still not working 1 hour later when we left the hotel. Checkout was slow as there was only one member of staff on reception and a queue of 6 guests querying their bills.

Good luck staying here. I'm absolutely gutted I paid £150 for one night. Never ever again will I come back. Should have booked at the Compleat Angler like I did before… Cannot wait to leave tomorrow morning. Pillows lumpy I took pillow case off and blood all over it.

The worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. Me & my partner had paid for a hotel stay and a 3 course dinner.
When seated for dinner we had to ask after 30mins of waiting for a drinks menu. Ordered a bottle of wine & all courses of food when a waiter eventually served us.
2 Ladies seated by us were unhappy with their service and were telling us in so many words how bad the service was before we had even started our food.
Received our starter in sufficient time but then had wait over an hr from when we finished our starters… still no sign of our main courses. Asked a member staff where this was & they said it will be with us in a few mins, bear in mind people had been seated after us and were on their final course of food. 15 minutes later and we had to ask again… and the Gentlemen who spoke to us ignored my partner while speaking to a colleague regarding this & walked away.
Was told a little while later that our order hasn't been received in the Kitchen! At this point we told them to forget about it & left the restaurant. Ended up going back to our room and ordering a Dominos pizza to the hotel!
Never experienced anything like it in my life. A 3 course meal already paid for that we didnt even have & overall a 2 hour wait!
And to add to it, at check out they still tried to charge us for the wine with no refund for the meal & no further compensation for their mistakes!

Doesn't even warrant 1 star! Absolutely disaster from start to finish and unable to deal with issues as they arise.
1. Fully paid prior to our stay however was forced to pay a second time on arrival as I did not carry my credit card with me. Took over a week to receive a refund.
2. Ordered room service for 3 drinks and a pizza. 1 Drink received was wrong and food completely inedible. Returned food and drink and was still charged for both. Was provided with a 'complimentary' drink which then appeared on the bill at an additional £9! £48 room service bill for 2 drinks.
3. Duty managers have no authority. On check out issues relating to the bill where raised. It was agreed to remove the 'complimentary' drink charge and a manager would contact to discuss the food bill. I settled the reduced bill and later received a call to say they were charging my card with the extra amount! Absolute disgraceful and fraudulent. Was told a manager would call and of course this never happened.
4. Was looking forward to spa treatments however no spaces were available until January despite it appearing nearly empty. The edges of the pool are covered in mildew and looks tired with minimal faculities.
5. The hotel staff were rude and to avoid a scene just debited my card after leaving knowing there was nothing I could do. When a manager was called over they went into a separate room to discuss my complaint whilst I was left standing there.

I have to start with the staff — they were amazing. From reception, to the spa to the catering team. They were all very helpful and I genuinely felt they wanted to help. The rooms were nice, ours was facing the courtyard so you could hear the water feature all night which wasnt so great. The pool was large enough and they had a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and hot hub all available and usable! We had afternoon tea on arrival and breakfast the following morning. The tea included 5 finger sandwiches and a wide selection of sweet delicacies. They had some Halal options too which was a plus (we had no expectations! ). Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold dishes. I would definitely say try to go earlier rather than later as I saw the salmon disappear before my eyes and it did not appear to be replenished in the time I spent there! Overall — great!

Booked a table in advance, had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Finally. Ordered our drinks 15 minutes later still no drinks or food order taken. Then be told drinks will be a while longer. Requested to leave told I couldn't and that I need to go back to my seat. Erm no I don't, took a while to remove the drinks we didn't receive from our bill. In the end had to order a take out which you don't expect in a hotel like this. In a plus side curry was delivered quick and was yummy. Eat elsewhere is my advice. Also housekeeping needs addressing had to leave the room for an hour and even though I wasn't dressed they still wandered in and out. Not acceptable.

Was looking to a nice little spa treat Room booked and paid for then contacted spa to book treatments to be told they are fully booked until December. It found I was unable to cancel room booking

Which actually went over the window to the room so there was security issues as well Room service had run out of focaccia so had to have plain bread which was dry and stale
Complimentary canned drinks in the had been dropped and the seals broken so the drinks were flat
TV not working properly remote broken
No guest services directory in the room
Staff not very helpful
English not spoken very well and couldn’t understand
When spoke to reception on checkout we were told that management would telephone us to address the issues but no call received
Will not be returning — cost nearly £300 for one night stay — room and food

Warm welcome and comfortable room! Loved the use of gym/pool. Breakfast also very nice. Only element that fell below my expectation was dinner that I felt was a bit lacking in the touches — like having a salad or vegetables to go with steak. That said the service was excellent.

Nice clean room, nice communal areas, lovely breakfast but food at dinner time nothing outstanding… though restaurant ambiance lovely. Pool area was noisy and not enough loungers for everyone. Treatments weren't amazing i. E back massage was too gentle and facial didn't include the eyes?

Gorgeous hotel — 2 adults 2 kids and we all absolutely loved it — staff are great — beautiful rooms and plenty of space for 4 people (we even had a game of hide and seek! ) Plenty of choice for breakfast — play area and football pitch was a fantastic surprise and kids were thrilled! Clean and had everything you would need!

I have stayed here before and it's always been very nice, however on the last occasion our stay was marred by a bizarre payment policy. Despite my room being prepaid, I was refused entry unless I showed the card on which the room was booked. Not having the card (as it was prepaid for by my girlfriend) I was informed that the only way I could gain entry was to pay the full amount again, which would be refunded within two days. Essentially I had to pay twice to gain entry to my room. I did not receive a full refund of the original payment until 7 days later. For anyone looking to book at the Crowne Plaza my advice would be to make sure you have the exact card used to prepay for the room. Otherwise they won't let you in without paying the full amount again. A ridiculous policy that marred an otherwise pleasant stay.

This hotel is an absolute disgrace! Me and my partner booked a "Luxury spa break" to which we arrived and there was no such thing just a hotel with a dirty pool downstairs over run with children which wouldnt have been a problem had it had been advertised as that when booking! Hotel have REFUSED to give us our funds back to which we paid £189.99! On several occasions now they have offered us a stay in their hotel if we remove comments of Trip Advisor and other review sites! We was there for an hour at the most and the hotel are making it very difficult for us, we was so looking forward to a getaway and we walked into hell! And please do not book judging on the photos on website the hotel does not look like this! This hotel has a very dated 80's decor not what is advertised! Approach with caution people!

Brilliant. My wife and I loved staying here. Very relaxed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean room too. Food was fantastic. Will come back again.

Generally a good spa night. The first receptionist lady was a bit grumpy, but the second receptionist guy more than made up it and pulled out all the stops to make our stay welcome. Food wise, breakfast was good. Dinner was fine apart from the fact we had to wait nearly an hour for starters and returned the first steak because it was over cooked. But once it was all ready it was great and nice pudding. The bar is really nice and a good view of a local lake. Their is a slight view of a motorway or A road in the distance but to be honest I hardly noticed it. The spa facilities are small but tidy and clean, they could do with a few more sun beds around the pool but overall I was happy. I enjoyed my stay and for that reason four stars is more than reasonable in my opinion.

+ Lovely outlook across grounds from the bar and restaurant. + Rooms were spacious and comfortable. + Good choice at breakfast, but expensive (£18pp) if not included in room price. — Key card kept resetting itself. — Queue for checkout was too long. — Our ground floor room had a pathway directly outside the window where people regularly walked past. Proved noisy at times and no privacy if window was open. Overall a pleasant stay, but you are paying for the location of being in Marlow, rather than the quality of hotel itself.

Nice hotel with good amenities. Pool is large and has two hot tub — one ourdoor and one indoor, as well as a steam room and a sauna. Because we were there for a bank holiday weekend, there were a lot of kids in the pool but from 7pm on it is adults only. I would recommend avoiding the restaurant for evening meals. It's extremely overpriced and the food is bland and not worth it. The bar is also extremely overpriced too. Breakfasts at the restaurant are great and are buffets. The rooms are good and spacious with decent air conditioning and a nice big TV. Bathroom is luxurious and has a shower and separate bath. One piece of advice for the hotel owner — put some plugs near the bed as we had to plug our phones in at the other end of the room! Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to friends.

Visited the Crowne Plaza for a business meeting. Food was really good, cookies were great! Nice setting, ample parking, and attentive staff. Stylishly decorated too.

This hotel was lovely. The room was clean and in good decoration. The breakfast was outstanding. Only complaint was bed was a little uncomfortable and the pillows were very poor but we would definatley stay there again and recommend it to others.

From the moment we checked in it was obvious we had made the right choice on where to stay to celebrate our daughter's 6th birthday. We were staying for 2 nights whilst visiting Legoland Windsor. The service received at check in was excellent and we were immediately made to feel welcome. The room was more than adequate for our needs for this visit and was clean and quiet. The buffet breakfast was superb and there was plenty of choice for all our palates. Although we did not get to yse all the facilities at our disposal this trip we are already planning our next trip to the area and will be using this hotel as our base.

Stayed for a lovely wedding reception. Very helpful staff, clean comfy rooms, bed was lovely! Bathroom had both a bath and a shower which was nice — better than a showers hooked up in a bath. Very quiet until a kid screams outside your door which can't be helped haha! Didn't try the Quad Club gym and pool which was free for guests to use. The Wi-Fi speed is awful. It's free but still — don't get your hopes up streaming music/YouTube/Netflix or doing much for work. I refused to pay £18 for breakfast (£14 if you book night before) seeing as I'd already paid best part of £200 for 2 nights. Think it takes advantage of the fact the location is so remote — it's at the end of an industrial estate and is a 20 min walk from the train station and 30 min walk from the high street. All in all a nice stay.

Clean room with comfortable bed and quality linen. Not much to look at from outside but really nice inside. Staff very attentive.

We used the hotel for our Christmas party. Staff were excellent. Food was good. Bar staff were fantastic. The Dafoe man was great and reception were very helpful.

The hotel was nice enough to live at; it was complete with restaurant, bar, pool, steam room, gym, and outdoor space. The upgraded rooms are quite lovely, the breakfast ample, and the service was impressive.

Great rooms, attentive staff and service, however no digital radio TV channels which was surprising!

Staff are lovely, welcoming and very helpful. The room I had was just looking a bit tired things were broken or damaged and the little finishing touches weren't there! Went to the bar to get a drink which felt very dark and untidy but there is a lovely outside space to sit in front of the lake of the weather is good. Opted for a burger on room service, hmmmm — very bad, not sure it should be labeled as gourmet on the menu — I would have been very disappointed had I made that myself! The hotel was convenient and generally pleasant though.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Stayed here with a legoland deal. So glad we did. Lovely welcome for us and the kids. Activity packs for them both and staff who engaged with them and made them feel very special. Room was lovely and the beds were comfy. Great sleep then a lovely breakfast with lots of choice and replenished regularly. Didn't get chance to use the pool and wish we'd have been able to stay an extra night. Would definitely visit again.

We stayed here over Christmas. Can't fault it. Great room, great service. Christmas meal was excellent. 15 minute walk to beautiful Marlow lock to burn off a few calories.

Found this deal on groupon 3 years ago booked an over night stay for my partners birthday including breakfast, and use of health suite. Upon our arrival we were automatically was upgraded to exclusive room free of charge this room will normally cost £235.00. The staff were very helpful and friendly the rooms are very clean and maintained. The health suite is amazing there is a fantastic jacuzzi outdoors which is relaxing and enjoyable. We are going back there on the 21st November with a group of friends for a soulnight including dinner, double room and breakfast for the price of £99.00 for 2 people!. Fantastic value all round, would recommend this hotel to all.

Costly — £9.00 phone bill for one call to a London number lasting 10 minutes! Wow.

Beautiful hotel. It could do with a couple more direction signs not only to the hotel but more so to where the reception is. We parked the car baut could see no information at all of which direction the reception was in.
