Popped in for lunch without booking, staff were very accommodating, made us feel welcome, dog friendly. Food and service absolutely perfect. Will definitely recommend and return.

Loved the view so near to the coast, perfect location, lovely staff, great breakfast everything you could want, it’s an old building so don’t expect sound proofing but it’s all done really nicely, would definitely go back.

We stayed at the lodge for four nights with our 12 week old baby and it was brilliant. The staff were all so nice and accommodating, always opening doors and helping with the pram. We had the superior king room which was luxurious. The breakfasts were brilliant as well! We ended up having lunch and dinner here several times as well. I would highly recommend the lodge to anyone with young children or who want a couple break. Literally a stones throw away from Lulworth Cove as well — perfect for any wild swimmers!

Came back today. The staff were lovely, food really delicious. The place was clean and cosy. I would definitely stay again.

Great stay this weekend with my girlfriend. Really nice staff very helpful polite and fun. Food was great and the room was perfect. So close to the cove. Recommended.

This was our first time at this hotel. We knew within 5 minutes we want to return and our stay didn't alter that.
Can't recommend this enough but don't take my word for it. Try it.

The location of this hotel is amazing, the scenery around is incomparable. This particular hotel, the room and the restaurant are 5 star. Both the restaurant and hotel staff are incredible, made my holiday even better. As for the quality of the food, I don’t think me or my partner have eaten better.

Great atmosphere down in the Cove. Professional, friendly staff. Good choice of food, especially gluten free. If you like the hustle and bustle of the cove stay here and if you like things a bit quieter stay at their sister hotel, Limestone up the hill in West Lulworth.

Stayed this weekend, 2 nights. Fantastic little hotel. Super clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food. Highly recommend. Big shout out to the extra lovely waitress who served dinner Friday night, breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning, lovely girl. Credit to the hotel. Xx.

Had a great walk along the coast & stopped in great service by the waitresses & great food as always.

We stopped in for lunch after exploring Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove & it was amazing! The menu is fantastic, the ingredients were local, fresh & delicious & our server was welcoming & so helpful. We had one of our best meals here & highly recommend it.

Really enjoyed our stay here and we were sad to leave. Friendly staff who weren’t over bearing, the breakfast was incredible (we recommend the salmon and poached egg on a muffin! ). The bed and room was so cosy and comfortable. Lovely view from the window, and just an all round incredible stay. Thank you so much for having us!

Staff were just lovely, food was delicious. We hadn't booked but were found a table after a short rest on the comfy sofa's. Lots of GF choices too, was hard to choose!

We had a fabulous lunch here. There are cheaper offerings at lulworth cove but this place is quality. They had no problem providing a high chair for our six month old, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was super. All fresh ingredients were used and the slightly Mediterranean themed menu fitted the location perfectly.

This place is a Treasure Island! The food cooked and served as 5***** the squid was the freshest and the sweet potato chips were amazing. The stuff is friendly and helpful. The place is designer decorated. Feel homely and welcome.!

We had an evening meal here. Staff not very friendly. Could only have BBQ food which we had to order at the BBQ outside and then order fries and drinks inside. A bit disorganized. Food was nice to be fair. Do not allow people to smoke where others are trying to eat. It is disgusting and uncalled for. Make a stand and use some common sense.

Great hotel with extremely great hospitality! Staff are very welcoming and very accommodative! Great rooms which are comfortable and we'll presented! Id definitely stay here again! Breakfast was great too knowing that the menu is changed everyday for warm breakfasts is a bonus! Always in for a surprise :)

What a wonderful experience we had staying at the Lulworth Lodge. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the food was delicious, the rooms were very clean, it is very close to the durdle door and local shops. Highly recommended thank you for making our stay worth it. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Very disappointed with the service. Extremely slow and inefficient. Took 45 minutes to get our starters and they got them wrong. Got the main courses wrong also. Accept it was a Bank Holiday Monday but to have 33 percent of your draft beers and 40 percent of your main courses unavailable is unacceptable. When I mentioned this the helpful staff reminded me it was a Bank Holiday and I should expect them to run out of things. Well they didn't or they would have had a contingency plan. Spoilt our family celebration.

I loved this hotel. It is really cosy and pretty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is really good and the city is so cute. There are a lot of nature breath taking spots around Lulworth Cove. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature and the sea. There are also a lot of activities around. I already booked a second visit for summer to enjoy the beach.

Our food took over an hour, hotel guests got fed well before us. I think they forgot about us though there wasn't many people there. Our sons macaroni want fully cooked and our other sons pizza was overcooked. They gave a nonchalance approach to the slow service and poor food. One waitress took slight interest and did apologise. Unfortunately on top of that issue an hour later and the whole family had extreme toileting issues. Won't ever be going back. Shame it looks lovely from the outset. Maybe it will be fine if you are a guest at the hotel rather than just at the restaurant.

Lovely hotel right by the cove. The hotel staff were friendly and our room was clean, but note that the walls are a bit thin. The ground floor is a wonderful restaurant, which also serves a generous and complimentary full English breakfast each morning. Parking is available; it is the shared lot used by cove visitors.

Arrived here for a short honeymoon break. Great place, good staff, food good, great views. Certainly will come back, perhaps for the anniversary.

Nice place in beautiful setting. Friendly and enthusiastic staff let down a little by the limited scope and quality of the food on offer. (If you plan to stay for more than a few days, you should be aware that the menu does not vary from day to day. ) Also, being an older building there is limited noise insulation. This does not appear to have become obvious to the bar tender — or whoever puts on the load/dance music from 8am until 10pm! 5 out of 5 for location and effort; 3 out of 5 for food (but only for first day or so when you haven't already tried the options on the menu) ; and just 1 out of 5 for whoever decides to play loud music for 14 hours a day!

It is a perfect escape from the civilization. Sits on a astonishing hill just in front of the sea, and very handling if you decide to take a trip to visit the jurassic coast. Room and the facilities were spot on and the staff very polite.

I would recommend the Lulworth lodge to everyone! Last weekend I stayed at the seaside and had a wonderful time. Especially the Sunday brunch is highly recommended for everyone. We were with a big group of people and the food was outstanding, the service nice and the entourage great. I had the Sunday roast, but also tried some other dishes all beautiful. To conclude it was a great experience for all of us. Thank you Lulworth lodge for taking good care of us. Bo.

Went for a meal at the lodge whilst on holiday during Christmas. The food and service was excellent. Will be definitely going back for a long weekend.

This is a lovely little hotel. I cannot fault the location (moments from Lucworth cove) or the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and warm, even in winter. The included breakfast was also excellent. On the whole I would recommend this as an excellent hotel with only a couple of gripes. The sound proofing of the rooms is best described as adequate and the food, while excellent, is a little over priced.

Ate here and had literally the best mussels I've ever had in my life. My sister's crab sandwich was also very good. Friendly staff, lovely views, 10 out of 10.

Staff were lovely, the food was gorgeous (breakfast and lunch) and delicious but we had some issues with the room… TV was not working… coffee machine was not working… really noisy room… lovely view in the room but it's with a walk in shower… so for the price I'm not quite sure it's worth it…

I believe they only officially started to take bookings this week, so maybe due to that problems occurred for their first patrons. We stayed for 2 nights, thought the price was quite steep, but assumed its because of the distance to the cove. Unfortunately, they had no water on Saturday evening until the wee hours. They did appear to try their best to resolve when notified. Majority of staff were lovely and helpful, there was one who seemed like she was forced into restaurant waiting or something, which was awkward. Another issue we found, though minor, was that the towel rails in the bathroom were on constantly at a very high temperature, with nothing to change the temperature. Other than that, place was clean, beds were comfortable, bedroom views were good and breakfast, which was included, was at a good standard — you get hot food and cold buffet. One of my poached eggs was a little undercooked (some white was still transparent — though didn't feel the need to kick up a fuss at the time). Showers were fine once there was water and that the boiler was working. As it's patron, they included a car park pass for the public car park across the road, which was a plus. Hope they keep up the good service and there's still room for improvement.

Amazing! The staff was really friendly, the food was very delicious, the room was clean, nice and the hotel had a really good atmosphere to it making it feel very homelike. The location itself is really close to Durdle Door and other sceneric places nearby. Thoroughly recommend!

Stayed here for one night with my dog. We were made very welcome by the friendly staff, lovely clean room with a selection of teas (and even some choc chip cookies in a cute little jar). Excellent breakfast served with a smile (although dogs aren't allowed to dine with you but there's an outside area where you can take breakfast with your pet weather permitting). Very close to the actual cove. Lulworth Lodge is a lovely little place, would have loved to have stayed a bit longer and will definitely return.
