Arrived at 2pm and was told to wait as Alan (which I'm guessing is the owner) wasn't in. When he returned it was 3:30. As a family we had two rooms on separate floors. The down stairs room had marks on the carpet a chest of draws that didn't open. The bathroom was tiny and you couldn't have more than one people in there at once. The upstairs room was mildly better with a bigger room and an at least decent sized bathroom one problem is though the room had no hot water out of the shower my son tried on multiple occasions and just got cold water. Also every time you rolled over in bed you hit a spring. I left with my back problems then I came with. Also are TV didnt work after 9 or before 9The breakfast they serve is alright at best tiny portions the egg was swimming in grease and the tomato was in edible. Positives there are pictures everywhere if famous monuments that really lighten the place up. It's in a great location just a few minutes walk to the sea front and the town. Would only recommend this hotel if you were on a tight budget.

Cannot even put a rating! Poorly run staff have no clue what they are doing and utter disgusting procedures with the owner! Taking full payment back in January to arrive and apparently have no booking for 10 of us! Shambles of a business! If you every need to stay somewhere avoid this place on go down to Russel court hotel!

Good location, poor cleanliness of rooms.

We booked online and received a call a few minutes later asking when would arrive. Alan informed us he would there for our arrival, however after ringing the front door bell for 7 or 8 minutes the cleaner finally came to let us in, she gave us keys and showed us to our rooms. Very dated, dodgy electrics and filthy carpet. Door locks are complicated so the hotel had a picture frame with instructions outside the door… instructors were rather complicated and difficult to decipher but eventually we managed to lock our doors. Dodgy pictures hanging up, Electric heater under a wooden table, random table lamps lying around with the cords cooled up and not usable, lopsided mirrors and picture frames. The chef informed us that was no breakfast before 0800. We asked is it possible to get something at 07:30 before we went to work? We were told “Sorry but I don’t come in until 07:45”, So both days we did get breakfast. Finally no one was available for us to check out. We walked around the whole facility and could no one. Complete faulty towers… I’m sure this actually more of a hostel or social security rented rooms as there were some other random type guests who looked more they lived here rather than being guests. They clearly have zero interest in meeting their customers, as we only saw the cleaner who let us in and chef who refused to make breakfast early, never saw anyone else except the “live in” guests. Plenty of other better looking hotels on the same street.

Very poor. Unclean, cistern leaking, no room to swing a cat in the shower. Tea in bedroom worst I had ever tasted, until breakfast the following day. Had Full English for breakfast; toast was like plywood, fried egg swimming in grease, had to scrape some slimy stuff off bacon before I could eat it, sausage awful, and the tea — words fail me — I asked for Earl Grey and, when I poured it, small things were swimming in the cup; I delved around in the pot to find what looked like tree bark in the bottom. I understand that some may use leaf tea but, would prefer, if a) They let you know, and b) they provided a tea strainer. However, no tea strainer in the world could stop that awful taste getting through — Earl Grey it wasn't. Owner/proprietor very pleasant and helpful.

Good value for money, very good full English breakfast, nice owner.

Went to a working event there and found it really pleasant.

Very very basic! Booked and paid for three nights moved out after first night! Couldn't be bothered to see about a refund, just put it down to a bad experience, in a nutshell Faulty Towers of Bournemouth. Anyone looking for accommodation my advice avoid this one!

Lady on telephone very nice — saying no problem to check in between 2200 — 2300, but unfortunately when I telephoned at 2200 the man (Alan?! ) seemed to think his colleague has misadvised me and that I'd better hurry up because there are other people traveling from all over and can't extend check in time — unlike what lady had said — luckily we were able to get there in time. When there, reasonable but shower leaked and was dirty — dust elsewhere. Alan is a good photographer though as his artwork was on walls — though in terms of Hospitality — some training may be required, after all this was a hotel apparently an not a B and B. I would advise more of Alan's artwork and less of the old butterfly pictures — and a spring clean perhaps!

Great location, close to the town, shops and restaurants. Clean and cosy hotel perfect for a short stay.

A nice little place, good value for money and ideal for a short break away. Breakfast was delicious! A tad dated but fine for what we wanted.

Stayed here with my mother and daughter who had an interview at Bournemouth Arts Uni. Adequate, we had a large room with small bathroom. Ideally situated with just a short walk down into Bournemouth. Small car park at the rear. The owners were lovely, chatted to my daughter about photography — very friendly. Breakfast was good.

Cheap and cheerful. You get what you pay for. Basic room friendly staff. Close to bars and restaurants and beach. Yes I would stay again.

Very low standard I will never go again. I give them one star just becouse staff was frendly.

Ripped curtains bin full not emptied full of take away wrappers toilet not clean stains on carpet bathroom door broken breakfast nice but a bit small. On the plus side friendly welcome and an attentive host. Don't mind budget but still like things to be clean.

Value for money and located really well.
