Absolute shambles. Booking made on booking. Com which was then cancelled but still continued to take the money from my wife’s account. Rude gentleman claiming to be the manager on the phone insisting the money would not be refunded and that the fault lay with my wife and booking. Com even though we have an email informing us the booking was cancelled. Disgrace.

Good receptionist for the high quality of this hotel but it needs to be deep cleaning for the hotel but another effect it is cozy for the people who wants to spend Time on their own.

Great location just short walk to shops and beach. Spacious room and quiet.

We came last night for 1 night, we wanted somewhere close to the main clubbing strip and that's what this hotel is! it needs a huge makeover, the room is very dated, the decor and furniture look very old, the chairs have stains on and do not look like they've ever had a clean. The bed is solid as a rock and so uncomfortable, the doors feel flimsy as when someone walks past feels like there coming in your room. The shower is attached to the side of the bath and to use it has to be hand held, the water pressure is also low. The hotel needs a huge renovation project to bring it up to date, but you get what you pay for £60 for 2 people is all it's worth.

Dog friendly, service is 5 stars. I loved.

Disappointing! The showers in the bathroom are not working properly, no water pressure, and there is no way you can adjust the right water temperature. When signalized the issue at the reception I've been told that "all the bathrooms are like that in England, then that the building is old and finally is that on the 2nd floor the water pressure is low" and if they have any cancelation they will change the room the second day. Indeed they moved me the second day to a room with a dirty bathroom that had human hair on the floor and a desk in the bedroom full of dust. I've signalized again the issue and told them that I am tired and to waste my time moving from one room to another when they should check the room before accommodate a customer in it. They had to send someone to clean the room again but the lady receptionist was not very friendly and she seem disturbed that she has to solve the issue. The good thing to this hotel are the rooms sizes and the location, 15 min walking to the beach. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the corridor or from the other room. The hotel itself is dated but they could keep the rooms cleaner at least and some of the reception staff could be more polite. The cleaning staff is nice thought, but I will avoid it on the future!

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. I do not recommend it. The hotel’s building is very old. The lift was old and too small. The bed was ok and clean also the floor was old but clean however the bathroom was old and the bathtub had dirt stains which I think was because it was over used. The water pressure in the showers was low and the temperature was too hot or too cold. The only positive point was free parking and the location.

Dated, Dirty, with bad plumbing. Do not recommend this hotel. — Although a good location with free parking and friendly staff the Hotel itself is a complete run down place and after 3 hours we checked out and left. Windows were broken with notes attached not to open them, net curtains ripped, furniture dated and falling to pieces, bathroom was dirty and had mould & rust around the bath, bath panel was cracked, bottom of the heated towel rail was caked in dust. The final straw was when I turned on the shower and found all it gave was a trickle of water and the bath tub was so stained and worn I wouldn't want to lay in that. A real disappointment as given some investment and a good clean this hotel could be so much better.

Small room but great location for a night in Bournemouth in a central location.

Nice hotel, lovely staff, good location, just disappointed that the pool wasn't heated in 2017, & we weren't informed of that prior to arrival. Stayed in 2016 & it was heated then. Our kids loved that, which is one reason we returned, but it was too cold to swim in in 2017.

Me and my friend had a great time there. Food was excellent, and the hospitality was very good. I would recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and the room we stayed in was big — that’s about the only good thing about it. The room had a funny smell, the toilet was overflowing and when you flushed it, the water goes down then everything came back up again, there were cracks on the bathroom tiles that had been painted over, there was only 2 sockets in the room, the plug in heater they put in there didn’t work so we were often cold, breakfast portion was small and very limited, overall, we didn’t enjoy our stay, wouldn’t go back and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone for long term stay. It’s more of a stopover place for a night.

Very rude receptionist, no customer skills at all! very arrogant and snobby attitude! Room wasn t very clean (fair enough as you get what you pay for, didn t really mind) I have travelled a lot over the years but this is worst experience ever with reception.

Using this hotel as Monday to Friday accommodation. Positioned between the town centre and beach, 5 minutes by car from the main road into Bournemouth and ideal to head out in the morning. Staff very helpful, always given choice of bath or shower, and I guess would consider myself a regular as been staying there for past 2 months. Bonus that they don't charge for carpark, really puts me off other ones I've stayed after paying for room they stick a £10 bill under your nose.

This hotel is all right for a overnight stay two days at most we found the room wasn't particularly clean but l will say the staff were first class just need to pay attention to giving the rooms are bit of TLC.

Floor was crooked and the toilet wasn't cleaned. Wifi is very weak.

On checking into this hotel I paid in full for the stay and when entering the room I thought I had arrived in hell. This has to be the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many. The room had clearly never been cleaned in weeks and everything was absolutely filthy. The bed sheet were filthy the mattress infested and the bathroom is not even fit to clean animals in. The room was shabby and completely out of date as if it had never been refurbished in 30 years. When I complained to the staff "Luke" and his team were rude and frankly unhelpful and when I suggested that I would inform environmental health they became verbally aggressive. do not stay in this hotel…

Whilst staff and the breakfast were ok, the room decor is SO old fashioned, and the bathroom is just horrid. The outdoor pool is not even heated. The bedspread was stained so I had to call the cleaners to have it changed. I'm sorry but the hotel either needs to refurbish the rooms or downgrade to a 2 star hotel. I paid £600 for twin connecting room with breakfast for three nights. Never again. I wish I looked up the trip advisor reviews before I booked.

The rooms are very dated and ill equiped. I had to ask to be moved from the first room we were put in, because of broken furniture and the strange layout of the toilet shower and sink being in different rooms. The room was also tiny, it was like we'd been put in a storage room. The second room was far better but was still dated and only had two working plug sockets. They appear to be renovating so this may improve.

Old and tatty. My room smelled bad and the shower was shocking, room was freezing and damp as windows had been left wide open.

Missing insects to make this hotel our of rate. Very old and never refurbish hotel. I had broken toilet door, stinking carpet, this hotel is far away from normal standard like ex: premier inn at the same price. Not recomend NEVER AGAIN.

This was the worst two hours ever spent in a hotel. After changing rooms due to cleanliness issues, my partner and I noticed the same issues in the next room. There were stains on all of the bed sheets and covers, dirty towels, toilet wouldn't flush properly, dust on every edge and no attention to cleaning what so ever. There was even bogies on the wall and the cups and kettle were dirty so we could not have a drink in our own room. The staff were rude and did not help at all, so I made a complaint. I would not recommend staying here to anyone. All the facilities are dated and in need of overhaul and the place generally smells old. I sincerely hope that the management can improve on this hotel as it is in a sorry state. I will be forwarding pictures of issues found to the management.

Pesimo, the worst hotel I have ever stayed. I got my breakfast paid for being 9, 30 h, the shower did not come out water, dirty, small beds, no plug to charge the cell phone, you have to unplug the TV to charge the mobile phone, breakfast the next day that it is disgusting, better not to have breakfast there. The worst hotel experience in my life and that I have been in hotels bad bad.

Some staff memebers are impolite and seem to have an aggressive and unpleasant tone when interrogated about an inssue/problem. Besides that, the rooms are not too bad considering that they do look extremely old-fashioned as mentioned by others reviews. Bathrooms are terrible and are not looked after well.

I have been there in2014 for2 nights. My opinion it's good a hotel, people working there very polite and nice the service really good. Any way thanks a lot. Ehab.

Absolutely rubbish. Bed crap, pillows not even a pillow. Would not refund our money. Dirty out dated by 20 years. Stick to premier inn. Bathroom half painted and looks like they run out of paint. Previous guests shower gel still on wall in shower. Shower dribbles water out. I got no sleep and places like that should be shut down. They have a 3 star AA rating. They need a review as no where near even half of 1 star. Management shy and a holes.

OMG infestation of bed bugs in the room and bed. When we asked to be moved into another room we were told we could stay in another room for one night only and then we would have to leave because we had "only paid £60.00 per night" (so does that mean we deserved a room full of bed bugs? ). So we said we'd rather leave all together and find somewhere else. The manager refused to refund our money. Manager has a serious anger problem. At one point he refused to open the room to get all of our belongings and luggage out so we could get our of there! We have informed environmental health and we also notified the police about the bag ransom incident. We eventually found alternative accommodation at the wonderful Encore Hotel across the road (despite having no help from the Burley Court to do this). We still haven't received our money back. All together a very exhausting and traumatic experience.

Down in Bournemouth for the marathon at the weekend. Due to a booking problem at first choice hotel we ended up staying at the Burley Court Hotel as the only place we could find. I'm afraid this was not a pleasant stay. The gratitude at finding an open booking was blunted by the horrible damp smell permeating the dark and dank 2nd floor landings. The room was not a sight for sore eyes with dated and scrappy decor and furniture, peeling wallpaper, desperately uncomfortable beds with poor rugs and bed covers. Generally in need of a good clean up. Upon running a bath for the kids a stream of yellowy water poured out for a few minutes before running clear, the side panel on the tub was flaking, the sink cracked, the tiling mouldy. The windows sill also coming loose, with loose tiles beneath, Rooms 44 and 45 at £146 for four of us started to feel very steep indeed for the quality experienced. A poor night's sleep followed on the rock hard beds, under a rug and sheet supplemented by another ageing rug located in the cupboard. The view in the morning from the window was an industrial looking car park that some idiot had been emptying his bottle bin into at 1:30 in the morning (not the hotels fault, granted). Breakfast was pleasant enough and the restaurant staff were nice. The lady on the front desk wasn't too responsive to our complaint at checkout. Had my son not accidentally broken a mirror when checking out we would have asked for money back, as it is we're probably even.

Desperate need for refurisment. Breakfast time was not made clear upon arrival, so was unfortuanatly missed by 15minutes! Although it says in brocure in room snacks and drinks available at all times, I was refused a glass of cold water so had to search for a local store. Overall bad expieience. Poor value for money.
