Great stay very comfortable bed, wonderful family business with Steve and Jackie. Well worth staying for a great breakfast. Short walk to the harbour and Fleet Walk shopping. Lots of good restaurants in the area.

Great hosts, convenient location, the most comfortable room & bed with a lovely en-suite. Would love to stay again. Dog friendly, most important & reasonably priced.

I had a single room which was comfortable and clean with tea/coffee facilities. Shower was a bit slow but did the job. A non-slip mat in the base of the shower would be an advantage. Breakfast excellent with a good choice. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Thank you for making me welcome.

Lovely place to stay great hotel, great staff, comfortable clean rooms and wonderful breakfast won't stay anywhere else when visiting Torquay. Fully recommended.

Myself and my daughter stayed here in July and we were waiting for a while to be seen before checking in. The staff seemed disorganised and there was confusion with our booking. When we went up to our rooms, one of the rooms stunk. The stench hit you as soon as you walked in. We called a member of staff to come into the room and told them about the smell and according to her she couldn't smell anything. She did move my daughter to a different room which didn't smell. The rooms seemed crammed — too much furniture. I had a nice view of brick walls from my room. Breakfast was nice, although one of the staff was very abrupt when I requested something. Won't be staying there again.

Nice hotel no complaints really. Owner gave some good tips on directions, I would recommend it. Parking at the hotel is a big bonus. The only thing I will say is that we bought a black towel as your warned about getting hair dye make up on the white towels, as you could be charged. So thats my only advice.

Visited the hotel bar 'The griffin' the barman is very friendly and makes sure your glass never goes empty, and there are very friendly local people that visit too.

Very friendly owners couldn't do enough for us we enjoyed our stay.

Central location overlooking Torquay. Bedroom light and airy. Good choice at breakfast. Helpful and helpfull staff.

The owners are very helpful and friendly host's. The room's are tidy and clean, the onsuite, s are clean and modern. Breakfast is very filling. When we next visit Torquay we would to book in at the Yardley Manor Hotel. Thank you Steve.

Good hotel for a short stay, very close to the harbour. Easy to find.

Great place for the attractions of the Torbay and surrounding areas. The bar is a great place to find out more information on what is going on in the bay. You will meet some really interesting people in the Griffin bar who are great fun to be with. The food and accommodation are extremely good along with a nice pool with great views of the bay.

Lovely friendly family, who if my understanding is correct, have been in residence for two years and took over a dilapidated business. The family are tireless in their efforts to please and from first hand experience carry out all tasks themselves including preparing the rooms, cleaning, decorating, cooking and tending the bar. We have just come back from a kgb special two nights B&B with one night dinner for £99 for the two of us and in all honesty encouragement is needed rather than criticism. Yes there is furniture stored in open spaces, decorating materials in sight, tired and chipped paintwork, barrels in open view etc. Etc. But given a chance and sympathetic patronage I'm sure the family will make a go of it.
